I plan on applying this semester for a bachelor's in a Chinese course, but I'm a tad bit anxous.... I've already studied at Tsinghua and Sichuan university in a Chinese program, and I'm gonna ask the chuanda teacher to give me a letter of recommendation. But I only have the letter from a Chinese uni, a good HSK5 score and good high school grades ;-; do you guys think it's possible? I'm also not ethnically chinese at all and come from a country that barely has international students in China. The main ones I want the most are 南京大学 and 电子科技大学, I'll be still applying to the big ones like THU, SJU etc but idk if there's any chance

With the upcoming tournament me and a lot of my competitive friends are in a faction ready to fight. However, I’d appreciate some high rank advice to hand over to our voted-in coach on how we can work better as a team.
I’m not looking for character picking advice, but rather I’d like to know what every member of the team needs to be doing at certain points in time. Is it good to call out focusing on one character? Is there scenarios where each of us needs to be shooting/focusing on one thing or another? These are the kinds of questions that make a high skill comp and I’d appreciate any help I can get.

Hello,
Does anyone have recommendations for a website? I looked into Wix, square space, Wordpress, and siimple (?). Do you have experience with any of website hosts? What did you like/did not like about each part?
I am currently making a poster (using Canvas) to promote my remote supervision. I noticed a lot of other remote supervisors have a website set up as well.
If I am just starting out, not sure if I should make a LLC or not (even if it means only providing remote supervision for fieldwork hours to only 1-3 supervisees at a time).
If you are already providing remote supervision, tutoring for test prep, and/or own your own practice, how did you come up with your company name? Would it be cringe if I were to add my last name (creative use of puns)?
Any advice, suggestions, and/or sharing your experiences would be very appreciated!

I [20F] am planning a spring break trip to Europe with my two close friends, Sarah [20F] and Mia [20F], who I’ll be living with next year. Right now, I live with my roommate, Emily [20F] (no drama around us not living together next year, she just wants to live near a different part of our college campus). Around late December, Emily mentioned wanting to go on a fun spring break trip, especially since her parents want her to travel with friends and since she’s never gone on a fun spring break trip before. Last week (the last week of January), she brought it up again, and I mentioned my plans with Sarah and Mia and she said shed love to join. Not knowing what to do in the moment, I invited her out of guilt without asking Sarah or Mia first (I know i shouldn’t have done this I just didn’t know what to do cause I think she was under the impression we were going on a trip together)
So today I talked to Sarah and Mia about her meeting up with us in Europe (but I wasn’t as direct as I should have been) and they said they’d be okay with it, but I didn’t explain that Emily would actually be traveling with us the entire time. They didn’t seem too excited about her joining us in the first place but they know she’s my roomate so I think they were trying to be nice. Also Emily might be in a different state for job training for the first part of spring break which is why I said she would meet up with us.
My problem is the more Emily brings up how excited she is to go to Spain, the more I realize I really don’t want her on this trip for so many reasons including the following:
- She can be very self centered and most conversations are extremely one sided and only about her (one of my close friends from home visited a few weeks ago and she even noticed this)
- Alot of times she can be very “boy crazy” but she’s also insecure (which I feel bad about) so conversations that aren’t about herself are always about some random guy she’s talking to from a dating app
- In terms of travel styles, she just isn’t compatible with me and the other two for many reasons (she’s very type A and wouldnt like how go-with-the-flow we are, she isn’t into fitness and we are planning on a lot of walking and hikes, her parents are paying for the trip while we r paying on our own so she’s going to want to do more expensive things, etc)
- And in all honesty, part of my New Year’s resolution was to be more intentional about spending time with those I love and this sorta caused me to realize I just don’t like her as a person as much as i previously thought, which definitely contributes to why I don’t really want her to come.
- ALSO this trip feels like my chance to bond with Sarah and Mia since we are close and I want to grow my friendship with them, especially since I’m going to be living with them next year.
