 | Is anyone familiar with how parts are manufacturer date stamped or how to tell if a part is original from the mini factory? A shop changed my auxiliary water pump (I have a 2013 Cooper S with a turbo) and when I asked for the original parts back they handed me this. The part should be original to the car. I’m under the assumption that date code (47-21) is for the 47th week of 2021. If that’s the case there’s no way that pump came from my car. Now I’m wondering if they didn’t change the part. Does anyone know what the original mini Auxiliary part looks like? Any specific marks or dating system? Hello, Writing about about a confusing problem I have. Once in a while my engine gets ‘stuck’ meaning the kick wont kick and wheel is locked up. It has happened a couple times, and I have unstuck it in the past by pushing engine down hill or using a breaker bar on rotor shaft as I just did now, with an audible ugly ‘clack’ sound resulting.
I thought it was just the kick mechanism but its not. Upon taking r side cover off and taking clutch out I see both kick mechanism and transmission spin freely, meaning somewhere from the crank to the valves something is getting stuck.
I recently completely rebuilt engine splitting the case, rebalancing crankshaft and boring out cylinder. And it runs fine, but sometimes, well, it gets stuck and I cant kick it over again.
Its pretty concerning to me and wondering what anyones ideas might be as to whats causing it or what to take apart next in order to investigate.
My guess is that maybe the timing chain is somehow getting kinked and stuck. Was thinkin next is take head off and investigate. Just hastle because I’d have to reseal with luquid gasket sealant.
Its a 1981 honda xl250, single cylinder 4 stroke. Thanks!

My doctor prescribed me cream for my face and legs but it barely does anything except make my skin flake less. It still looks red and scaly. I have very bad psoriasis especially on my legs where it covers a huge amount on both. I don’t have itching or bleeding because of the cream but my legs look very bad if I wear shorts so I wear pants all the time. I was told I could get an injection that would help more but I don’t think Medicaid covers that. I do have a passport and was thinking of traveling out of the country for meds if they are cheap and work better. Any suggestions?

Posting on a throwaway account.
I've been working in accounting for about 9 years now. I started in public accounting and eventually moved to the real estate industry. Throughout my career, I've been a top performer wherever I've worked. I get plenty of feedback that I'm smart, work hard, and am a great employee. However, I haven't progressed beyond the senior level.
I think this is mainly because of mental health issues. All my life, I've struggled with anxiety which has led to long periods of depression. It makes it difficult to sleep, causes me to socially withdraw and isolate myself, and probably most relevantly, it's kept me from getting my CPA.
I've managed to deal with it and push through, but my current job is extremely toxic. The culture in my department is incredibly harsh toward any kind of mistake, and when they inevitably happen, everyone gets extremely self protective which perpetuates a blame culture. Coworkers are gossipy, and managers have clear favorites. They'll also monitor your Teams status and will straight up manipulate and lie to you to keep you in the dark. We all have huge workloads and tight deadlines, but the managers don't provide any support. They're there to crack the whip and allocate blame.
Overall, working here has taken a huge toll on me over the past couple years. My body feels like it's falling apart, and I have panic attacks driving to and from work. I want more than anything to quit, but I'm worried I won't be able to find another job. I've sent out a number of applications, and I can't even get a call back.
Should I quit without anything lined up? I have about a year's worth of savings, so I would be ok for a while. However, I'm worried that I'd be screwing myself since I don't have my CPA, and it feels like I've pigeonholed myself into real estate. On the other hand, every day spent at this company leaves me completely drained and borderline suicidal. I know I have bigger personal issues to address, but it doesn't feel possible while I'm here.

The low interest is what has me thinking on getting one. But I have no clue if I have any room to try to get a discount. I currently have a 2014 mustang v6 with fp6 package and the thing has been flawless, it is a manual and I still love the way it looks, but I always had a soft spot for Subarus specially since I follow rallying.
