 | I love my LeGo, but legion space is making me miserable. From random crashes to opening for no reason during gameplay, not to mention having to wait multiple seconds for the quick menu to open for it to sometimes not open at all. I asked a girl out last week. it’s not something i’d usually do because i find i get way too hurt over things like this when they go bad. so i asked her if i could give her my number so maybe we could talk, she seemed interested and agreed, i gave her my number, she messaged me later that day just saying hi, and said that she isn’t great at messaging people. i took this as not knowing how to message very well, but no, she just barely responds. i got 4 responses in about 2 hours. now she’ll leave me on delivered for hours, even a whole day the other day. then i saw her today in person, said hello and she seemed irritated. what should i do?

From what I've read in the old mycelium versus fruiting body extract debate is that mycelium extract proponents claim that Hericenones are mainly extracted from the fruiting body and Erinacines are solely extracted from the mycelium, but Hericenones fails at stimulating Nerve Growth Factor in human cells, while Erinacine A was successful. Mori 2008, Li 2020
This points to a conclusion that Mycelium Extract would be the more useful therapeutic compound to take (ignoring Beta-Glucan percentages, which I believe the LM fruiting body is more).
I can't find any more details about this. While we're relying on research that has focused specifically on Erinacine A versus Hericinone C, D, and K (?), there are 15+ types of Erinacines and 10+ Hericinones. And I can't track at the moment what's been researched at what hasn't.
I also can't confirm outside of these two primary studies that the business is settled about what fruiting bodies contain, and what is most effective in NGF stimulation.
Has anyone done more homework about this? The thing is that I personally grow and extract Lion's Mane, and have found good enough benefit from the fruiting bodies. But I would be happy to change my process to figure out how to extract mycelium if that's truly where the value is at. I don't want to make fake promises to others that have bought my extract, and boy is the Lion's Mane market ambiguous about the science behind its promises.

2025.01.27 17:17 anniepeachie Is it common for states to not allow suspended loss claims from a non-resident state?
I'm just curious as to how much my state's tax treatment is unfavorable compared to other states in this regard:
I live in a state that does not tax real estate activity for property located in another state. When I sell the property and claim the suspended loss against Federal AGI, that loss is excluded from my resident state AGI (i.e., added back to) therefore no tax break is received against state tax liability.
But in reality, the net loss was covered by money already taxed by the home state because how else would I have paid the expenses if the out-of-state income wasn't sufficient? Had to put my hand in my pocket, basically.
And even though my Federal carried over capital loss is used up, my state still only allows up to $3k so even regular portfolio capital losses carry forward for my state.
Is my state unusual in this regard? I'm just wondering. Maybe it could have been offset by apportionment but not being a business that seemed like a complication I didn't need.

2025.01.27 17:17 Theupkeepisfine For those who started MOC with newborn, what was most important that you stuck to initially?
FTM, baby turns 3 weeks tomorrow. A friend sent me the MOC book and said it worked great for her kids. My LO is sleeping “well” in the bassinet at night (1.5-2hour stretches in crib side bassinet with the fold down side), so I was curious about a more structured daytime. Already out the gate I’m questioning things as my daughter almost exclusively eats and then falls asleep. She is starting to have a couple of longer (20-30 min) wake windows during the day, but usually after a nap, not after a feed.
I’m wondering if I should aim to stick to the nap time schedule and only let her nap for 2ish hours then wake to feed and see if I can get her to stay up? And then maybe rock to sleep? Or just short feed to sleep. And also try to do one bassinet nap per day.
Just curious what you all really stuck to when trying this schedule out.
