Hi guys, I'm prepping a project to be filmed in the coming months, and I came across the Nisi Athena lenses. I wanted to know if any of you have worked with them before. We'll be filming in mostly low-light conditions, as the project features a low-key lighting scheme.
What do you think about these lenses? Are they any good in low-light conditions? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

I recently started looking into this, and I’m a bit confused. E Ink Corporation (eink.com) has the term E Ink trademarked, and from what I understand, that’s the real E Ink technology used in phones like Remarkable, LP2, and Mudita Pure, upcoming Kompakt etc. They’ve essentially monopolized it.
However, I was told that e-paper displays is a broader category, and some companies market their screens as "E Ink" when they’re actually using generic e-paper displays—riding the wave of name recognition.
From what I’ve seen, E Ink is regarded as the best and most supported e-paper display type. But here’s where things get interesting:
🔹 Minimal Phone isn’t listed in E Ink’s official customer showcase, even though Mudita Pure and LP2 are: E Ink Showcase 🔹 The Minimal Phone website writes it as "E-ink" (with a hyphen), whereas the official branding (as seen on Remarkable, Mudita, and LP pages) is "E Ink".
This all makes me wonder… is Minimal Phone actually using a genuine E Ink display, or are they stretching the truth in their marketing?
Would love to hear from anyone with deeper knowledge on this!

The first episode was great. Dinesh gave him shit for his cross tattoo but that's literally it. Everything else for the whole series has been a one way nonstop barrage from Gilfoyle. It needed to be a back and forth. Dinesh isn't the Dwight Schrute they tried to make him out to be.

 | When Peter Porte joined Days of Our Lives as Dimitri, the writers had him be a watered down version of the character that would get bested by the likes of Chad DiMera, Gwen Deveraux, Xander Kiriakis, Stefan DiMera, Gabi Hernendez, and once again, Leo Stark. The character was unrecognizable. And it was so bad that I actually had to look up if the character he played on Days was the same person he on BS in the middle of watching the show, because I watched out of order and forgot they were the same character. He was a shadow of his former self on Days. And the only villainous thing he did was kidnap Billie Reed daughter, Kate Robert’s, for reasons that I forgot. I really like the reveal that Megan was the mother of DiMitri. It was a nice reveal because Beyond Salem set him up to be somewhat as threatening as Stefano and there was a lot of potential with him being a half-Brady and half-DiMera, but the show didn’t do anything interesting with him being the grandson of Stefano DiMera or related to the Brady’s as he had no redeeming qualities like Bo and wasn’t as villainous as he once was on Days. One of the worst things the show has done with the character is making him to the son of a character that was made up for the show plot and tried to make him a sympathetic character that had a abusive father growing up, when we already have enough emotional abusive fathers like Stefano DiMera or Victor Kiriakis. And doing this to DiMitri only made him feel vulnerable, not tough and strong like how Beyond Salem portrayed him to be. Dimitri being the son of Megan and grandson of Stefano would’ve been a better explanation for why he turned out the way he is. But I guess the only reason they did this was so that the character can relate to Leo, who also has an abusive off-screen father, as the writers probably planned long ahead for Leo and DiMitri to hook up. His father should’ve been Bo Brady and it would be an easy way to make him the cousin of Carly Manning and Frankie Brady. Plus, imagine if Shawn and Ciara Brady had a long-lost half-brother. It could’ve added more conflict between Hope, Bo, and Megan love triangle and I am sure fans would’ve enjoyed that as there are some days fans out there that were fans of Bo and Megan when he was brainwashed after he was resurrected by her. And we all know the DiMera’s once had a feud with the Kiriakis family, so he could’ve added fuel to the rivalry, instead of wasting him for a story between Leo Stark, Gwen Deveraux and Xander Kiriakis. Seriously, the whole plan that Megan came up with for DiMitri to get married before his 40th birthday so he can inherit his off-screen dead father money by marrying Gwen was a stupid plan and made no sense for the character of DiMitri. He was never about money. He was about power and wanting control. Just like his grandfather Stefano. But the only reason they created this storyline is probably they had no idea what to do with Emily O’Brien character Gwen after she split with Xander and decided to have her be in a fast relationship with DImitri, which turned into a cartoonish plot about money as her, Stefan, Gabi and more , who would go after him for his inheritances and he would get bested by everyone. And if Dimitri really needed a love interest, they should’ve have him fall in love with Sarah Horton, who would be his uncle wife in my version of the story, before her and Xander get their happy. The story itself could’ve parallel to Stefano twisted feelings for Marlena Evans, who was really in love with RoJohn. And you also have the parallel that Marlena and Sarah are both doctors. This is what I would’ve done if I was the head writer: Make DiMitri the son of Bo and do a quadrangle between DiMitri, Sarah, Xander and Gwen, and maybe have him try to takeover DiMira Enterprises and Titan Industries. submitted by GuyWhoConquers616 to DaysofOurLives [link] [comments] |
