I worked for a well-known company for a few years as a contractor. All their creatives were contract employees, and their salaries/benefits handled by employment agencies. If they liked your work, they switched you from the agency you were hired through (they used several) to an agency that basically served as their house contractor agency. So while I worked at this company full-time for four years, my actual employers while I was there were two different employment agencies--first the one I was hired through, then the preferred agency. And I'm not really sure how to list that on my resume. Do I mention the agencies on my resume (and online application forms)? Do I simply append my title with "Contract"? Do I just list the place I worked rather than either agency?

okay okay so we got our lab mix during the pandemic and he never had the chance to socialize. 5 years later he hasn’t gotten much socialization, our neighborhood is quiet and looks dead, closest park is 30 min away in a bad area and idk how i feel about that. he gets the exercise he needs(we have a huge back yard and another acre of land for him) we don’t have many options for socialization. any suggestions? i’m only 15 so im limited to many option and it would have to be ran by.

2025.01.27 17:20 maroxtn M4 14 inch maxed or 16 inch maxed and fan noise issue ?
I want to upgrade from my m1 and buy a maxed m4. I will be mainly using it to run LLMs, and potentially (but rarely) fine-tune LLMs, and since I work in the AI field, I want to future proof myself for the next few years.
Reading posts here, I saw that many complain about the noise of the fans specially for the 14inch, and that made me concerned as it brings back old days of using intel processors for me.
My goal here is to have as much VRAM as possible, and improved performance over the m1. I am not really concerned with having blazing fast, state of the art speed, but I want to use LLMs comfortably without worrying much if they'll fit into memory.
My questions are as follows:
- Is the fan noise really that bad on M4 max processor ?
- Is the battery performance and fan noise significantly worse on the 14inch ?
- Since I am not going to be always running LLMs, and around 50% of the time having normal dev usage, would it be possible to throttle the performance of the processor so I save up on battery, and limit the fan noises ?
- Should I look into M3 max instead of M4 max ?

Yo cuando estaba en el último año del cole solo sabía que quería alguna ingeniería y pues como me gustaban también las ciencias terminé entrando en una carrera nueva en la UNA, no me gustó y fueron de los peores años de mi vida pero por presión de mis papás si la terminé, luego me meti en una carrera de salud en la UCR y pues cayó la pandemia y todo se fue a la mierd4 y me terminé saliendo. Al final hice lo que debí hacer desde el inicio jaja me meti a una carrera de informática y hoy, 10 años después de haber entrado a la U, ya al fin pude conseguir una buena oportunidad de trabajo.
Cuenten ustedes, que estudiaron y en qué terminaron? Se arrepienten? Que harían diferente? Yo la verdad me hubiera metido en algo de TI al puro inicio y ya fijo tendría como 5 años de experiencia pero bueno, mejor tarde que nunca!

I currently have the iPad 7th Gen that I got in college for taking notes and staying organized with school. I primarily use GoodNotes and loved it back then. I’m now using it again for work, though, and I’m getting frustrated with the speed, battery dying quickly and lack of space. GoodNotes also seems to suck now so I’ve switched to Microsoft OneNote. Is the jump from the 7th Gen to the 10th Gen worth it?
I am also considering the iPad Air but it does have a significantly higher priced tag and I would also then need a new Apple Pencil. So I’m not sure how worth it that is. I primarily use my iPad for taking all my notes as I prefer writing over typing but don’t like keeping track of a bunch of papers. Appreciate any advice or info!!

The female lead's engaged to somebody and her fiance happens to cheat on her, I think which is why they split (not sure about the cheating part). The female lead comes across a lamp and hence a genie. The genie is British and talks in a british accent. She asks for a wish that enables her to change her or someone else's appearance at will. Throughout the story, the genie and the female lead fall for each other. At the end, they kiss each other even though the genie was scared that something terrible will happen if they kiss. My thought is that I'd hide everything as long as possible while taking pot shots with bolt boyz and spells. I know Hobgrots aren't great, but I figured they could be a decent screen for all my ranged units and my casters.
The only unit I don't have that's on this list is the Marshcrawla, and, tbh, I'm a huge fan of the monsters, so I'd love to get the boss on a troggoth or a sludgeraker if y'all give me an excuse to buy them.
I also have another 20 of the dominion gutrippaz, but I'm not a big fan of them as I'd need some extra banners and spears make me nervous.
Last thing I want to mention is I'm not super competitive. More just looking for something to keep up in games with and have a good time/not get tabled the first round.
