Hi, I've been really struggling to overcome my disorder and I need tips for not only binge eating but just eating better in a not super restrictive way because that has fueled my food noise.
For full transparency I am 5'6 and about 255 pounds, I have always struggled with food but this is by far the worst I have been, I think it got worse when I grew up and had access to adult money.
My triggers are potato chips and fast food, im not huge on sweets but salty and spicy food with a crunch are my favorite.
I am unhappy with how I look and feel. I work overnights as a nurse and it has been really hard for me to get a consistent eating schedule and find healthier options. I would love any resources or tips anyone has for reducing food noise, I would love recommendations for uncomplicated cookbooks or just info books in general on binge eating disorders, every time I try to look for an ED book it is mostly about anorexia which is not my issue.

Hi so I’ve been dating a Chinese woman that’s 23, I 26 for over a year now. I’ve been in many relationships before this, this is my second Chinese girlfriend and she is by far the most intelligent and attractive woman I have been with so far.
The biggest issue we have is love language. She does not seem to even come close to the affection I show her that she shows me.
She explains to me that it’s abnormal in China to show a lot of affection. And that she never even saw her parents kiss, that they have not hugged her in since she was a child.
She spoke to her parents about this issue and they call me abnormal for wanting more affection.
While I speak to my mum and she thinks it’s crazy that she does not show me a lot and she thinks her family is abnormal.
My parents have always showed a lot of love to us. My mum will literally hug and kiss my girlfriend and tell us love you to both of us when we leave her home.
While when I visited China her parents did not even touch her after not seeing her for over a year.

When I mention affection I mean her telling me she loves me, coming to kiss me/hug me throughout the day. She could potentially go days without doing so if I did not initiate.
Our sex life is good though we do have sex daily, but I always have to initiate it.
For me it just makes me feel like I am not desired or she does not love me. But she swears she does.
Maybe I should hold her to a different standard? In the past always girls would be more affectionate than I was. Just seems unusual for me.
Oh also with my last Chinese girlfriend she would show a lot of affection hence when she tries to explain its cultural I struggle to believe it.
Please don’t hate, just trying to gain some more insight on the culture, I truly love her and hope we come to a stage where I feel that I can propose and get married.

2025.01.29 06:01 Ok-Aide1186 My Co-Worker is making me extremely uncomfortable
I started working at this job just last month and he started working there not long after me. The first weird gesture he made was practically lunging to open the break room door for me when I came in, and he was smiling a lot. Mind you, this was our first ever interaction. As time went by, I noticed he became more flirtatious. I’m not really good at clocking when men are flirting with me, I noticed I was becoming uncomfortable but do know now he was flirting with me. He would ask me how has my day been, questions about my family, how many siblings do I have, what I like to do in my free time, the one instance that made me really uncomfortable was when I had gotten a hanger stuck in my hair for a second so I went to go take it out of course, and he reached over and was about to help me when I didn’t ask him or initiate anyone to help me, especially not him. And this was when we were alone in the front of the store to putting clothes away on one rack so we were somewhat close to each other too. Who’s constantly staring at me or glancing over at me too, but especially makes me really uncomfortable. Another thing is after me and my other coworkers would say bye to each other, he would then look at me and say goodbye or good night to me separately. Today, after I had to realize he has been flirting with me, and I realize I am not going crazy, I basically ignored him the entire day, didn’t make any eye contact with him, and I kept my responses very short and timid when I did do this, he would still stare at me, There is an instance where I was near my car today, trying to put my stuff away and he came over pretty close to me sweeping when he already swept that area up. We were all leaving to go home. Everyone said their goodbyes and I was walking across the street to go sit inside of Wendy’s because my ride hadn’t came to pick me up yet, he yelled good night at me. I ignored him and continue walking, and I noticed he was walking in the same direction as me which has never happened. I make it to the front entrance of the Wendy’s, and I hear a car honk at me. I don’t turn my head to see who it is, then I hear the same voice say again are you all right and it’s him and he followed me all the way to the Wendy’s.
From prior nights, from what I noticed, he walked into the parking lot directly in front of our store, so I’m assuming he has a car. So this guy literally followed me all the way to Wendy’s because I was ignoring him to ask me if I was all right. He literally cannot take the hint that is him making me uncomfortable, he’s literally always staring at me grinning, there is another instance where he stood behind me while I was clocking out and was grinning at me again it was so bad today that I cried.

I’m 20M I worked as an intern in a marketing agency in 2023. Ans now I’m running my own marketing agency with a friend. We handle social media, create website for small and medium businesses for now. I know meta ads technically as I have seen how it works and learnt from a course I have even ran awareness ad for a local restaurant after the internship. But I do not have a practical experience for lead generation in meta ads. I really want to do that shit and grow a business with performance marketing.
Nobody is giving me a chance for that. Is there anyone who can give me a chance and grow together?

We had a lot of Freddy’s today but this one oh boy was toxic. This Freddy would at first try to tunnel people out and didn’t bother to go around kicking gens after that he then proceeded to slug us. That didn’t work as I had unbreakable, flip flop and power struggle so I got out by dropping a pallet as he carried me and got everyone up. Unfortunately he then went back to tunnelling after 4 gens done he hooked the 3rd survivor and then found me and hit me. The 3rd survivor wasn’t giving up on hook so the Freddy instead started humping me for no reason then when she died I got moried. I messaged them why was you doing that did I upset you? To them sending me a message saying we was a “bad team”, “ we got destroyed” and “I’m better then all of you” I guess I made this person mad with my build and my loops.
