Hey Everyone. I lived here back in the late 80s early 90s and Rock 101 KLOL was awesome! You could listen to the radio all day and it was nothing but hits! I just moved back to Houston from London as of 2025. What the hell happened? The Eagle plays the same 10 songs every hour. The Rod Ryan show....complete garbage. Fuck he's annoying. They don't play rock music. They play alternative and they think just because they play one Metallica song they are a rock station. Hell no. The Buzz sucks.
So I was thinking. Would Houston like a real rock station? I mean real rock. Slipknot, Metallica, Jinjer, Iron Maiden, System of a Down, Disturbed and Anthrax!!!
I'm thinking about partnering with a friend of mine and starting up a rock station. It would start as a website and if it takes off we can look into having an app host our station
It will be free and will play real rock 24/7. Rock, Heavy Metal, Classic Rock and of course some Hair Bands! It won't be the same 10 songs you hear on the radio all the time.
If you guys think this would be a great idea, we would love to know.
If we get a yes, we will update everyone on when it will launch. Otherwise, we just stick with what we have.

Plomin HF is around the corner. Finally. Honestly, looking back through the past year it was a rush, it's not perfect, but it is a starting point. Which is what we need. There's still a bit of work to do around all of it, but I'm happy to have a foundational place to start.
