2025.01.29 02:42 considerthechainrule I cannot for the life of me find what "external reference" is missing from my feature
 | I've been working in a top down assembly that has lots of references between parts in it, and when editing another part, I seem to have somehow broken this one. I was able to fix all the broken features and sketches everywhere else in all the other parts, but not here. SolidWorks gives the error "one or more external references are missing" but upon editing the feature I don't see any yellow errors like usual. Is there a way to get SolidWorks to tell me what its missing? I made a copy of the part, and tried deleting and remaking the feature, but it ends up with the same issue. clicking on "what's wrong" just gives me the same error warning. My iPhone 11s screen is unresponsive and I don’t know why, it was working perfectly fine until it was in my pocket and my alarm rung and I turned it off using the power button and ever since then the screen has not been working. Tried hard reset multiple times, letting it die, and even connecting it to my Mac and updating it to the newest ios. And still nothing. Even reset it completely and still nothing. Is this a screen issue or chip or?

2025.01.29 02:42 kevessi My life keeps getting worse and i feel like i was just born too weak for this world
Ever since I turned 18, my health has just kept getting worse, and my mood has gone downhill with it. Fertility issues, heart problems, eye problems, testicular issues, lack of sleep, an eating disorder as a coping mechanism (which made me prediabetic), and an obsession with exercise to avoid gaining weight—plus other nerve problems. All of this has left me feeling so melancholic and numb, but at the same time, I’m weirdly sensitive to other people’s sadness.
Every time someone tries to help (especially my parents and close family), I just want to cry so bad because I hate that I’m worrying them. I don’t like my life right now. My mood is affecting my work too—I wake up late, don’t socialize enough, and can barely stay awake for more than 10 minutes in class or meetings. (Possibly ADHD? Did I forget to mention I have major attention issues too?) I feel like I’m just letting life pass me by.
I don’t know what to do. Doctors don’t know why I keep getting sicker. I’ve tried fixing my diet (Keto, animal-based, whole foods, etc.), but it hasn’t helped much.
I daydream a lot about the times when I wasn’t dealing with all of this. I don’t know if anyone can really actually help, but I just needed to vent before I break down and make my parents worry even more than they already do.

I made a foolish mistake.
My mate asked me to help him sign up for a crypto exchange account to buy NFTs about 4 years ago.
Basically, He has to use multiple accounts to do this to increase the chance.
He has been my friend for more than 10 years; we grew up together.
He didn’t use my account much in these 4 years, but recently, I got emails popped up saying that he transferred BTC to my account and then transferred it out. Decent amount. My accountant suspects that he is involved in money laundering.
He told me he didn’t think much about it and said he aint do anything illegal because he has two children. Now, I have to deal with tax issues. He is very sorry to me. He said he would pay all the tax expenses.
If I need to report my friend, should I go to the police or AUSTRAC?

Ready to sell my 2015 2.7L for something more up to date and better fit to tow a cargo trailer. My plan is to buy a 8.5'x18' cargo trailer, which could have me pulling about 9,000-10,000 lbs. I think I have it narrowed down to the 3.5L ecoBoost with the 3.55 Max Tow E-Lock axel, which will give me freedom up to 14,000 lbs.
I have included the window sticker to show all the options. I'll note that I like this package because it has the tow mirrors, 6.5' box, and heated seats.
The dealer quoted me $53,905 before taxes and fees. Wondering what people think of this price, anything I should be thinking about?

I'm applying to transfer to a few schools through CommonApp transfer. They all say they provide Aid to transfer students, but I'm unsure how to apply for it. The financial aid deadline for next year of my current school is coming up so I'm worried I'll miss my window even though the actual applications aren't due for a few months. One school (UChicago) says they only evaluate aid if applied for at the time of the application, but I see no point in the CommonApp application to fill out financial aid information. I can't remember exactly how this worked when I was applying from high school, so I'm feeling rather lost.

That's how long I've stayed abstinent from weed. Prior to quitting, I smoked daily for 10 years. Granted, I didn't really have a choice. I started getting acute panic attacks every time I took even the worlds smallest bowl hit.
No medical history of anxiety- one day my body said, "That's enough. No more." My heartrate would skyrocket and my hands became clammy; vertigo would wash over me and the dread man would wave through my mind's eye.
Some lessons have occurred to me:
- CHOOSE to quit if you can. It will feel make you feel more powerful; don't be like me and wait for your body to revolt against you. It will make you feel weak.
- The great lie of substances is that they trick us into thinking we are doing something more than we are already doing. All I'm doing is smoking before I game. Vaping before I eat. Smoking while outside. I can still do those things without smoking. Be real stoner: if you smoke daily it doesnt make you feel anything anymore. You are not getting high.
- You are meant to be bored. Boredom will force you into hobbies, creativity, relationships, depression, recovery, fulfillmemt, and living.
- Its alright to get down. Feel your feelings, or they will rot you from inside out.
