This was one of the funnest dumb games I’ve ever played on arena. I got off work and jumped on for a quick game and saw it was Pauper for midweek magic. I downloaded a random deck right away. Unfortunately, I never actually looked at the deck. Had no clue what I was playing and lived at least ten turns longer than I should have.
I fucking love pauper.
Also, Rickdeckard, whoever you are, awesome game man. I almost had you!

2025.01.29 06:01 Th00nk Riddle me this! Headaches from quite literally anything, everytime
22yrs male, noticed this issue since i was around 10yrs, headaches (almost) daily on the 2/10 pain scale, frequently higher aswell (and 10/10 when i get bad migraines, but atleast then i know what the diagnosis is)
My main issue is that these headaches stop me from being able to progress as a person... i can't hold a job, or be encouraged to do simple things, yet i'm not very depressed because i smile often and feel genuine happiness pretty frequently, i just can't DO anything
It aches, yet i don't eat junk!
It aches, but i sleep pretty consistently!
It aches, and i drink mostly water!
It aches, but my monitors brightness is 35% and i was never chronically online!
It aches, yet i workout!
It aches, and i'm not obese/malnourished!
It aches, but i don't have any vitamin/mineral deficiencies!
It aches, yet i've tried beta-blockers, fish oils, sertaline, naproxen, norgesic, and 20 more things that i forget about!
It aches, and its not my mind playing tricks! I've been very encouraged and hopeful to try many different medications and the only thing that works so far is painkillers, yet i hate taking them!
It aches, yet i don't get withdrawals from the painkillers because there are days where i feel amazing despite having taken painkillers 3-5 days ago! I still haven't figured out why i sometimes rarely feel amazing, from what i learned, no reason at all!
It aches, yet i drink very little caffeine (like 1 cup of coffee every 2 days), and only use nicotine/alcohol since 2 years ago! (The headaches were there before this)
NOW for the stuff that consistently gives me short headaches (2 or 4 pain scale, lasts until i answer my body's needs)
-Cold air through my nose
-Haven't eaten in 8 or 12 hours
-Very dry air around
-Too little sleep
-Too much sleep
-Bright lights, monitors on full brightness, too much sunlight
-Stress/anxiety obviously (sertaline would've fixed this, this means my primary headaches are not from anxiety, plus i still have headaches when i'm drinking alcohol)
-Wearing over-ear headphones apparently

I have a decent collection of glass and I keep it in my room. The cabinet I keep it in is around 5-6 feet away from my head while I’m sleeping. The cabinet does have glass sides and I get a small reading outside of my cabinet when my Geiger is very close to it.

2025.01.29 06:01 adammannam Is it too late to start wearing retainer 24/7?
I’ve had my retainer for almost 3 months, was told to wear it 24/7 for a couple months( I don’t remember specifically how long). For the first week I did wear it 24/7 but after that I got into a habit of wearing it 16-17hrs, wearing it while sleeping and working and then taking it off to eat after being home for a bit. When I put them on before I go to bed , they feel tight and I feel very slight discomfort which all goes away after a minute. Is this normal? I’ve heard that doing what I’m doing is bad because it doesn’t allow the teeth to stay and form in the correct position, is this true? And lastly if this is true , is it too late to actually wear them 24/7 to fix this ?

Hi, I've been really struggling to overcome my disorder and I need tips for not only binge eating but just eating better in a not super restrictive way because that has fueled my food noise.
For full transparency I am 5'6 and about 255 pounds, I have always struggled with food but this is by far the worst I have been, I think it got worse when I grew up and had access to adult money.
My triggers are potato chips and fast food, im not huge on sweets but salty and spicy food with a crunch are my favorite.
I am unhappy with how I look and feel. I work overnights as a nurse and it has been really hard for me to get a consistent eating schedule and find healthier options. I would love any resources or tips anyone has for reducing food noise, I would love recommendations for uncomplicated cookbooks or just info books in general on binge eating disorders, every time I try to look for an ED book it is mostly about anorexia which is not my issue.

Hi so I’ve been dating a Chinese woman that’s 23, I 26 for over a year now. I’ve been in many relationships before this, this is my second Chinese girlfriend and she is by far the most intelligent and attractive woman I have been with so far.
The biggest issue we have is love language. She does not seem to even come close to the affection I show her that she shows me.
She explains to me that it’s abnormal in China to show a lot of affection. And that she never even saw her parents kiss, that they have not hugged her in since she was a child.
She spoke to her parents about this issue and they call me abnormal for wanting more affection.
While I speak to my mum and she thinks it’s crazy that she does not show me a lot and she thinks her family is abnormal.
My parents have always showed a lot of love to us. My mum will literally hug and kiss my girlfriend and tell us love you to both of us when we leave her home.
While when I visited China her parents did not even touch her after not seeing her for over a year.
If you don’t want to read more about our intimate life don’t continue reading after this point.
When I mention affection I mean her telling me she loves me, coming to kiss me/hug me throughout the day. She could potentially go days without doing so if I did not initiate.
Our sex life is good though we do have sex daily, but I always have to initiate it.
For me it just makes me feel like I am not desired or she does not love me. But she swears she does.
Maybe I should hold her to a different standard? In the past always girls would be more affectionate than I was. Just seems unusual for me.
Oh also with my last Chinese girlfriend she would show a lot of affection hence when she tries to explain its cultural I struggle to believe it.
Please don’t hate, just trying to gain some more insight on the culture, I truly love her and hope we come to a stage where I feel that I can propose and get married.
