Generally speaking outside relationships I find that when someone does something that negatively affects me or there are issues/conflict between me and them that stuff never just "goes away".
Every time that stuff happens it builds a bigger and bigger negative image of them in the back of my mind. That is my "history" with that person. If I'm around them enough I will have thoughts of negative experiences with them. Yea there is the good stuff but my minds doesn't really care about that as much.
On the surface I'm still amicable with the person and get along cordially but it changes how I feel about them, how much I trust them, what I would or wouldn't do with or for them etc. I'm not going to go back to acting like those things never happened.
How do people deal with this in romantic relationship where there could be years or even decades of conflict and bad history between you both?
I feel like unless I was fortunate enough to find someone who was 100% compatible with I would grow to like them less and less as the pile of negative memories and experiences with them grows bigger and bigger.

I'm almost 40 and I have nothing to give except lived experiences, which are only so valuable. I was born with a very rare kidney disorder. I've had dozens of operations and procedures. I am living, if you can even call it that, off or SS Disability and living with my almost 80 year old father in a 1 bedroom apartment. I'm sleeping on his couch. I've been here on said couch since 2021. I have no privacy, no space. I ended an on/off relationship/relationshit with an EMT I was seeing since I started dialysis, about 12 years ago. I carry alot of blame, guilt, and trauma. That's about half of it.

Hi all still reeling from my 19 week loss due to insufficient cervix. I’ve had 4 normal births before so I was shocked this happened. I am 40yrs old, is this how it’s going to be if I have another? My doctor said if I try again he would heavily monitor like weekly cervical checks instead of automatically putting a cerclage bc that has its own risks. Has anyone delivered full term after having full term babies, then insufficient cervix, then pregnant again? And if you got pregnant again with cerclage next time did everything go smoothly?

Hallo zusammen,
ich befinde mich aktuell dabei Gewicht zu verlieren und mir ist etwas aufgefallen was mich ein wenig stutzig werden lässt.
Kurz zu mir: 26 Jahre alt Derzeitiges Gewicht: 96,1kg Anfangsgewicht: 110,8kg
Ich habe angefangen mit der "Diät" am 05.11.2024 mit 110,8kg Da habe ich aber noch nicht so ganz durchgezogen und oft Alkohol getrunken und dann einfach zuviel gegessen. Richtig mache ich es seit dem 01.01.2025 Am 02.01.2025 wog ich 104,8kg, also schonmal trotzdem paar Kilos runter. Ich mache auch seitdem jeden Tag mindestens 10.000 Schritte, mein Durchschnitt sind circa 14.000Schritte im Monat Januar. Jetzt habe ich mich heute gewogen (wie jeden Tag) und komme auf 96,1kg Bedeutet ich habe in knappen 30 Tagen konstanter Diät und Bewegung knappe 8Kilo verloren. Meine Diät besteht aus knappen 1500 Kalorien mit mindestens 100g Protein pro Tag und trinke mind. 4 Liter Wasser. Kraftsport oder dergleichen mache ich nichts (außer 30 Liegestütze pro Tag), nur meine Schritte.
Nun meine Frage: Ich höre immer, dass es gefährlich ist so schnell abzunehmen. 1. Stimmt das? 2. Trifft das auf mich zu mit dem rapiden Verlust? 3. Sollte ich etwas ändern? Ich habe Angst, dass wenn ich meine Kalorien hochschraube, ich wieder zunehmen werde.
