I'm just getting into skiing as I've only been 3 times at Breck, Keystone, and Sante Fe, but I'd prefer to buy a set of skis rather than rent. I will only ski a couple times a year, and I'm currently trying to transition from snow plough to parallel so I'm a beginner. I will be skiing in both CO and east coast each year.
I'm 225lbs, 6'5". Not an aggressive skiier, likely staying on groomed piste, will be staying on mostly blue runs.
I found an excellent deal on a set of Ruslter 10's 180cm... basically can buy for the same price as renting for 1 trip... I'm wondering if the 102mm under foot would be too wide and prevent me from learning how to carve compared to a 78mm underfoot for example? I previously only rented skis with <80mm waists.
I've found that I cannot control my speed, so I need to carve/turn as often as possible, but I understand the 102mm waist may make it more difficult to do these turns. I'm curious if someone with more experience could recommend whether I buy these or keep looking. Thanks!

The Episode Made Me Jump Several Times.
If I Remember Correctly, This Episode Was Made As A Challenge To Joss Whedon To Where He Couldn't Rely On Quips So Much.
Maybe It's Because The Gentlemen Look Like Characters From A Tim Burton Movie.

After reading countless posts on this sub, I’ve noticed something weird. It’s called Paradoxes, but almost every post here isn’t an actual paradox, it's just some abstract thought that someone slapped the word “paradox” on.
Which kind of creates a paradox in itself:
If this subreddit is about paradoxes, then it should have actual paradoxes.
But there aren’t any real paradoxes here, so calling it Paradoxes is actually paradoxical.
So the only real paradox here… is the subreddit itself. A place that claims to be about paradoxes but doesn’t actually have any, meaning it's somehow a paradox by failing at its own purpose.
Or maybe it’s just mislabeled, and there’s no paradoxes at all. Either way, the biggest contradiction in Paradoxes, is its own existence.

My gf and I dated for 2 years (17-19) and I ended things 6 months ago. She was my first relationship. I broke up with her because I was struggling mentally, and was becoming irritable with her, and losing feelings. Partially because I was so terrified by the outside pressure of others saying I was missing out on the "college experience", and inwardly I also knew I wanted to have experiences with others before settling down with one person. My parents also did not support the relationship because we are both girls so that was a lot of pressure. I immediately regretted the decision and those feelings wavered on and off for months. I did the basic things, no contact for months, removed all signs of her, and picked up hobbies. It's been nice to have time to grow on my own and focus on school and friendships. If this was my friend coming to me saying these things I would tell them to give it time. It has only been 6 months after all. I've had a crush since the breakup, and been with others but it never feels right the way it did with her. I want to be with her again, I miss us, but I am terrified of hurting her if it doesn't last forever again. I've told myself to wait 2 years post-breakup to even reconsider getting back together with her, that is if she even wants to anymore (I don't even know if she would fs rn) . We are sort of in each other's lives but mostly through social media, and we've met up twice since but in very casual intentional interactions. It was a very respectful breakup, and both of us understood the terms. I told her not to wait for me, I told her I wanted both of us to have other experiences. I need her to know she can be loved by others even though it will crush me to see it happen. I believe we both still have feelings for each other and are in love, but no one would ever say that. It feels foolish to sit her in mutual longing and do nothing about it. I guess I will stick to the 2 year rule. I wish there was a right answer.

Ok so I've made two big mistakes (oops) in this season (Winning Hearts) and I'm currently on episode 33 so no saving it. I'm not sure whether it's even worth restarting so i was thinking maybe i should just click through it to the end and go for the money because idk why not. Can't decide tho.
My first mistake was locking myself out of Lisbeth's route. I've only realized thanks to a comment here on my post where i was confused on why she's not flirting with me in casa. Genuinely can't remember friendzoning her, perhaps i did but didn't realize it was irreversible lol?
Second one was locking myself in Eisha's route. I wasn't sure who to chose for the hideaway (Ethan/Larson/Eisha) so i went for her since we weren't that close. Apparently that meant chosing her as my final which i didn't realize until Larson got mad at me during the dance for playing him 💀
I know I probably won't replay the season if i finish it. I could just restart and play it properly this time but I'm gonna be a bit bored playing the same thing and idk if the last 4 episodes are worth it. Are they any good? There's something about a big surprise coming up. I could also just finish it but I don't wanna end with someone I'm forced to be with so I'd just pick the money (while feeling really bad for Eisha lmao). Any advice, I'm hella indecisive?
