There are already a bunch of posts about what Ancient Shards are good for post-Emberlight, and the current idea seems to be just use them as teles, with no other purpose. I know there was supposedly some talk about using them as prayer XP in the future, which might be nice, but allow me to chip in my own two cents:
BonecrusheEctoplasmator charges. Each shard charges 2k of either- carrying a bit of the Catacombs magic with them, the bonecrusheectoplasmator can use them to bury bones/scatter ashes!
It makes them sort of useful, but not to the point of ridiculousness, they're a nice addition to a grinding loadout, rather than a must-have. Current charging methods still work, these just give some extra charges to extend while you're barraging abbys or stabbing hellhounds.
Maybe even have it be where you combine some shards with a bonecrusher necklace and ectoplasmator to make a device that both buries bones and scatters ashes, keeping the prayer restore effect from the catacombs. Charge the device with ectotokens, charge it MORE with ancient shards (past the bonecrusher's cap). Give it the bonecrusher necklace's prayer bonus, and maybe a little defense across the board (to incentivize it's use).

Hello everyone!
I've been frustrated with my job search. It's been a while after covid and getting married and having a family. Now I wanted to get back into the career world. Everyone says "it will be fine, you can always find a job online", but in reality it is not that easy. I have a degree in International Relations, 2 years' experience as a customer service specialist (for English Language) and 10 months as an e-commerce product manager (Holland and Belgium Marker). These skills will soon be replaced or already replaced by AI. I'm considering taking out a student loan to study cybersecurity... but in this economy, I'm hesitant. I'm based in Europe, but I'm a third country national (Asian). Any suggestions on how I should navigate and start again in this career thing? I'm mostly looking for remote jobs.

This project was called "Roller Derby Pool Party"... Torre, the lead guitarist from Transit was in this band for a few years and it seems they've disbanded as I can't find any of their music online, everytime I click a song on google that is supposed to direct to spotify or apple music, nothing plays or its a blank page. This music was so good man. Some of the best pop punk I've heard in years. I know I have seen a lot of people talk about struggles with insomnia. That is definitely what I am struggling with tonight. My little sister died from alcohol related disease in her sleep at 3am, and so each night I get terrified to go to sleep before I hit 3. I know it isn't logical, but I also know this disease isn't logical.
What are some things that have helped you with sleep? Any advice is welcome!

2025.01.30 08:33 Mad_Kronos Message that there is no joystick and/or BIOS
So everything was working fine but at some point while playing Samurai Showdown I pressed a combination of buttons that transported me in a bios-like menu. I resetted and now when I start most games I get a message that there is no Joystick configured or there is no BIOS.
Games start but it's like the game doesn't recognize any buttons so I can't even press start etc
