Hello All!
background: I played a lot of COD in my youth, but stopped in college when Black Ops 1 came out. I recently heard good reviews of BO6, and decided to give it a try. I've been really liking it so far, since I am an old fart now I can only play for an hour or so after work. For my first few months with the game I essentially experienced 0 lag/network issues on PS5.
About 2 weeks ago all of a sudden all of my games are stuttering extremely badly and have HUGE lag. As in, even play of the game is stuttering at maybe 12fps with lots of drops and apparent network issues. It's almost like I am being put into a server across the world from me. I know it's not a hardware issue with my PS5 because I can play other games just fine, but honestly it's gotten so bad that I often don't want to play because I never know if a match is going to be mostly playable or a total stuttering mess where I have 0 chance of doing well.
Is there any way to see what's up? The only thing that comes to mind is that I played one game with someone who I am fairly confident was hacking and reported them, and the next day I started having issues. Probably a total coincidence though.
Anyone have suggestions? I have been really enjoying completing daily challenges and getting back into a multiplayer FPS after so many years, but the serious lag issues are honestly making it not fun anymore. I just want to go back to how my experience was a few weeks ago.

I’m 25 and came out two years ago after being in a longterm relationship with a man. Afterwards I used dating apps and met my first and only girlfriend. Unfortunately she was extremely abusive and I think that the relationship made me nervous to meet potential partners via dating apps. I know that people in general say how awful dating apps are and that they can be frustrating overall. I made a few friends on Bumble after the relationship but I didn’t really go all in to find someone to date.
Last summer in 2024 I was single and got to go to a lot of LGBT events. It was great and I had fun but I felt like I didn’t quite fit in. A lot of the culture in my area seems centered around parties, which I enjoy, but most of the people in attendance were drinking, doing drugs, etc in excessive amounts. I’m not interested in those things or being in a relationship with someone who is. I also had problems with men hitting on me at these events and a lot of the women there were straight so I got worried about approaching one of them by accident. I’m also traditionally feminine, albeit a little eccentric in my style, but I think people might still assume I’m straight based on how I look.
Anyway I’ve been single for almost a year and I don’t really see it as a bad thing. I’ve become more confident in myself and who I am as a person. I’m nervous about being back into dating for a lot of reasons though. Despite my awareness of my good qualities and the fact that I would be a good partner, I know that dating apps make people feel like crap and inadequate on purpose. The one thing I like about them is that you can state your sexuality on the profile. As I said, one thing I struggle with is that even in gay spaces there are a ton of straight women so it’s just frustrating having to guess or repeatedly ask if someone’s gay.
What has your experience been? Do you prefer one over the other? Either way I hope I can at least start dating again without a lot of difficulty. I’m grateful to hear anyone’s perspective, thanks (:

Season 5 ending should have been the conclusion of Buffy’s story. Don’t get me wrong I am one of the most die hard fans of Buffy around…and I love random parts of seasons 6 and 7. But the end of season 5 just gives the feeling that the story is complete…and yes I know everything comes down to the original plan and the switch from WB to UPN at that time…but watching the end of season 5 when it originally aired truthfully brought little tears to my eyes even though at the time we already knew Buffy was moving to UPN. Even with modern day super heroes we see being brought back all the time I feel that it might diminish the original sacrifice they did. Idk like I said I love all of Buffy…but a conclusion like season five would have been monumental and a lot more realistic for the life Buffy lived…
