I got my belly button pierced 5 days ago, and it's looking quite red. I wanted to see whether anyone could give me some advice on whether it may be infected or if it's just a normal part of the healing process. The first image is the closest i could get to a first person POV, and the second photo is a third person POV in which it's a lot easier to see both ends of the piercing at the same time if that makes sense. From what I've seen it seems to be okay, but I wanted to get a second opinion. I tried my best to get them both in focus, so hopefully these photos are alright.

I'm so tired of not being able to afford to live. I've cancelled all that I can of subscriptions and cut back on spending. I am frugal with food, and get things repaired, I'm earning near the top of my career salary bracket for my area...
Yet I'm always struggling to make ends meet. My employer prohibits 2nd jobs.
I'm getting so desperate for money I'm tempted to do Onlyfans or something.
I just need to catch a break and get back on level ground.

"Attempt the recruitment tests" they said. "They value your hard work, not your knowledge" they said. Bulls**t.
Despite spending weeks studying for team anant ka recruitment test, and taking great care to solve questions, got rejected from obc vertical due to the small errors (meaning my best wasn't good enough). Mereko mostly computing ke taraf interest hai. But now I'm genuinely skeptical of applying to new tech clubs.
So genuine question seniors, are there any tech clubs on campus which genuinely recruit based on one's aptitude to learn, or do they all need pre-requisite knowledge (like team anant ka obc). Agar chahiye padta hai, toh resources hai kya? I'm genuinely fed up of recruitments atp, agar mereko reject hi hona hai toh kya hi faayda. And if no such club on campus exists, coding ke liye kya karun fir? Interest hai, lekin direction nahi, so a framework to self study would be nice.

My girlfriend started a new job, on the 16th of this month, they do bi weekly pay every other Tuesday, and they had just been paid the 14th two days before. So of course since my girlfriend has been working nearly a full two weeks we expected her to get a paycheck on the 28th. Her employer told her no since she started "in the middle" of the pay period she doesn't get paid until the 11th of February. This is wrong right? Like I understand if she started the 20-28 because processing her into the system could take time, but this seems crazy

 | This is the situation for last 14 days.First 2 pictures. We visited our vet the second day, they prescribed some antibiotic eye drops, and after 4 days there were no change. They pointed us to see the specialist, oftalmologist. They did the thorough checkup. Blood work, several eye exams. Nothing was concluded,everything was normal, they prescribed him eye drops, in form of corticosteroids and artificial tears. Dog is 5 years old, and doctors told us to check all pictures we have of him in order to determine when exactly this could have started, and we could back trace it 2 years ago. I noticed something strange with Apple TV and Shortcuts. If I use the Shortcuts app to turn on my Apple TV, it only works when I’m on the same Wi-Fi network. But if I just say, “Hey Siri, turn on Apple TV,” it works no matter where I am, even if I’m not on the same Wi-Fi.
Why does Apple allow Siri to do this but not Shortcuts? Why can’t I create a shortcut that works like the Siri command and turns on the Apple TV remotely?
The reason I want this is that I have a Roomba, which I can control via Shortcuts from anywhere without relying on Wi-Fi. I want to set up a shortcut that, when I leave the house, turns off all the lights, cuts off unnecessary electricity, turns off the TV, and starts the Roomba. But since Shortcuts can’t turn on the Apple TV remotely, it messes up my automation.
Does anyone know why Apple restricts this or if there’s a workaround?

I am in grade 10 and will select courses in march. My counselor strongly suggested everyone to take Chinese A, saying that if we take a language other than our native will make universities look down on us. He specializes in UK admissions, is that the case only in the UK or worldwide or is it not the case at all? I’ve heard my friends talk about the Chinese people in their school all opting for Spanish ab because Chinese A is really challenging, and that is also the case for me. As a native speaker, my school doesn’t allow us to select Chinese B which is reasonable, but they usually don’t allow students to choose other languages and dropping Chinese, with only 2 students not taking Chinese atm. Should I talk to the school about choosing an ab initio (my school offers Japanese ab) or would choosing Chinese benefit me more? I am very sure I will be able to score higher in an ab initio course compared to Chinese A SL however.
