I don't normally use reddit, but I recently found this subreddit and I want to get this off my chest. I'm sure everyone here is familiar with how biased Tunisian news can be, a problem that existed before the revolution and lingered after it, an unbiased news source that didn't filter, highlight, or omit event and speeches to sell a certain idea and to manipulate the average citizen simply did not exist. Tunis 7 was gone but more channels emerged to take its place, pro Nahdha channels (Zitouna), pro Nidaa channels(Hiwar tounsi), pro qalb Tunis (Nessma) pro salafist (Al Insaan) etc....
With the recent crackdown on freedom of speech in this country and people having their lives ruined for simply expressing their opinions I think it's important for Tunisians to fact check what they read/hear online. Tarnishing someone's reputation has also become way easier following the coup, and people are thrown in jail without a trial based on baseless claims or petty charges, for example Sonia Dahmani is in jail for saying something most Tunisians, young and old, say on the daily, because if you think about it we have truly regressed as a country we lost the only thing that we gained from revolting, our freedom to express what we truly think, it wasn't great under Nahdha, Marzouki, Nidaa, our country was poor, filthy and backwards with no clear plan how to go forward, but at least we could complain without the rest of jail or harassment, at least you could the people in charge khwenjiya, tartour, sheyib etc...., But now we are even poorer, we struggle to find gas, food, and even water, and we can't even complain about it.
However we only have ourselves to blame, the parliament was messy, but what country does not a parliament rife with discord and disorder, I have been living abroad for the last three years and the parliament here is just as messed up as the one we had, even though it's in a developed country. We are here because we were not truly committed to democracy, we allowed a lawfully elected parliament to be shut down, people believed the false promises that hutting down will put all those people you don't like away in jail, erode corruption, and make you richer than you ever was, but here we are Tunisia is the poorest it's ever been in years, not just financially but also socially and politically. Our greed got the best of us and we sold our freedom for nothing.
I have seen Business News article circulating in this subreddit and I wanted to ask you to please fact check what you read there, as this paper is known to falsify facts, I have witnessed this first hand, a friend of mine working in the public sector discovered that Karoui&Karoui has cheating been the state out of payment for pieces of land and billboards he rented, so naturally the company's supervisors were informed and a case against Karoui&Karoui was opened, my friend then went on TV to detail the case, and then they were shocked to find an article by the Business News saying what they did was illegal, that reporting Karoui&Karoui's crime was illegal, the article falsely claims that a worker in the public sector can not disclose the company's operations to sources outside of the company itself, However this is actually false, as in cases of corruption, embezzlements, and threats, public sector workers are not only encouraged but also required to disclose and report such instances to the appropriate authorities. The paper also claims that what my friend was illegal because it constitutes character assassination (Thalb), Now this would be the case if they went on TV before informing the authorities and an investigation was opened, but my friend went well after 6 months an investigation was opened and a lot of proof was found. The comments on the article are shocking with people taking what they read as fact and calling on friend to be fired from their job or to be be brought to court, my friend filed a case against karoui&karoui in which the judge ruled in favor of my friend, and another case against the Journal itself which they also expect o win.
I have also seen the same kind of article concerning Sihem ben Sidrine, although this one has actual documents backing it, but I simply cannot look at this journal without superstition again because if they bent the truth once, they will probably do it again, I don't know if Sihem is guilty or not that is up to a judge ,that has access to actual evidence, to decide, I also don't know anything about her situation except what I read and hear in the media, but the media in this country is simply not credible so I basically know very little. I have seen people here gloating about people they don't like being in Jail, but please imagine if you were in their shoes, I'm sure everyone here would like to receive fair unbiased trial, you might say I'm innocent I haven't done anything illegal, well neither did Sonia. Simply disagreeing with the authority right now is a crime and even pointing out the incompetence of said authority is also a crime, so unless you're a sycophant who's happy to stay without basic necessities a long as they get to lick boots, I implore you not to support the violation of anyone's freedom, no matter how much you don' like them. I don't like Ghannouchi and I don't like Abir Moussi but if they do belong to jail it should be in accordance with the laws of the constitution, the 2014 constitution that we won a Nobel prize for, the one that sets us apart from the Arab and African countries that I have seen people here constantly act superior to, even though we are not, we are no longer an exception just another MENA country were the average citizen has no rights no access to basic necessities, and has to immigrate to feel like an actual free human being.

2025.01.30 08:33 Squirelm0 My Saturn 4 Ultra woes and Elegoo ABS Like 3.0 - Black
Bought my S4U just before Xmas. My schedule is non-conventional, I work nights, and I only get a day or two off at a time to putz around with the printer. I live in NY on Long Island. It's been single digit cold here and my garage is a solid 30 degrees. To get started, there's no vendors here except Microcenter that I have found, that sells bottles of resin. So I bought several 500KG bottles of grey Inland resin for $5 a bottle. And set to printing. They were on sale.
Over the last few weeks, I left the resin on my furnace to warm up and had 2 successful prints. Then a failed print or two and chalked it up to the cold, 100%. Bought the Elegoo heater and wrapped my printer in a wool blanket to insulate it. Same thing, heated the resin on my furnace and had a few successful prints. And I was stoked. Then the failures started again. Failure after failure. Tried various settings and resliced my models. Nothing I did worked. From just the rafts printing to delamination to distorted prints.
I had enough. I bought a grow tent, a small personal heater, and a plug that monitors temperature to operate the heater in a temperature range. I then ordered some bottles of Elegoo ABS Like 3.0 - Black. Found a profile on Chitubox's resin allliance by Bejay. yeah, I get it too.
The last week has seen many successes. 1 failed print, but thats because I used an old file with bad settings.
Aside from my updated setup. This Elegoo resin is absolutely amazing. It may be the only thing I use for the rest of my life. Short of needing something in the translucent family.

 | Hello, Since there is a lack of info about printing Polymaker PolyMide CoPA filament on A1 printers i wanted to write my own mini guide since i had success printing with it. I print only functional prints with CoPa so I care mostly for parts being strong and dimensionaly accurate. I'm aware that my prints might look better with more calibration. Few notes: - This filament has to be DRY. It attracts moisture like crazy. I print directly from a filament dryer, 55C keeps moisture at around 15%, that's enough. I also keep some sillica inside the dryer, it holds moisture down overnight when i don't print. - It has to be printed SLOW. This filament takes time to warm up and cool down. So you have to print slow to give it enough time to warm up in the nozzle. At the same time it doesn't like to be air-cooled, so the only option is to increase the minimal layer time, therefore the previous layer has time to cool down before the new one is printed. When it's hot/warm it's very rubbery and small details print very bad, there are layer shifts, warping, and all that stuff. - It doesn't stick to the bed that well. I have printed on a textured plate and a cool plate. Prints detach from textured immediately when the plate cools down, a cool plate sticks better but still much worse compared to PLA and PETG. I haven't printed anything large, so i dont know if it would warp during big prints. - Other posts i've found mention enclosures but i didn't use one(because i don't have one). I print in a small draft-free room with a stable temperature. That's enough. - Don't rush to take the print of the bed. Last layers will still be rubery even up to a few minutes after the print, you might deform your print. - This filament is not overhangs and supports friendly. Small overhangs and support contact points work quite good, it's not that hard to fix with some sanding, but larger areas are PITA to clean. Ok, main parameters. I used PETG as a draft because Bambu Studio doesn't allow to print any PA on A1 and A1 mini. - 0.4mm nozzle, 0.12 layer height. - Nozzle temperature: 260C - Bed temperature: 70C (for both textured and cool plate) - Print speed: i simply put 50mm/s everywhere where it's above 50 in the default PETG settings. - Min layer time: 30s. (You set this in filament settings, under Max fan speed threshold and Layer time) - Flow rate: 0.96 works well for me Few extra notes: because i didn't want to waste filament i have not experimented with parameters like air cooling, cool plate temperature or flow rate that much. Maybe it would work even better with air cooling, but other posts said to turn it off and so i did. I've got a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 laptop:
Windows 11 Pro 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 16GB Memory 1TB SSD
I have about 254 gigs of used space on my hard drive. Is there some setting to make McAfee Livesafe take much less time for a full scan? Is it possible it was scanning my cloud drives as well? Was it scanning other things that weren't necessary to scan? I'm sure it didn't take as long a time in the past.
Or is my only answer to swich to Norton or something? Or do I need to upgrade the memory? About 24 Hours for a full scan is ridiculous.

I’ve been running YouTube in-feed ads and noticed something frustrating with Google Ads.
- When I run in-feed ads on both mobile & desktop → 99,9% of views go to mobile, burning my budget on low-retention clicks.
- When I switched to desktop-only → I got great watch time, but after just 3 views (with great watch time), Google completely stopped showing my ad even though I had budget left.
- Has anyone else experienced this?
- How do you get Google to prioritize desktop views without killing the campaign?

So I know that the switch enables you to transfer users but I have a question on how to handle transfering saves.
- Can I transfer saves without NSO? If yes, do I have select an option per game or will it automatically transfer all my saves in the console to the new console when I transfer the user?
- Can I just transfer the user to the new switch, and if I get NSO because it had cloud saves, will it automatically download the saves of the old switch without needing a save transfer? Or does the user transfer do a mandatory game save transfer?

Anyone remembers the GLS trading system? You put the Pokémon you have and ask for the one you want. Then anyone in the world can search for what they want and choose the best trade for them. Add stardust and limit new accounts from using the system until level x and it would've been the perfect system.
But nop, let's add new currencies, new stamina and a weird/complex/unfair system to get the new currency. Oh well. Honestly a lot of the hype died for me with this implementation. I was spending 20€/m in this game because it was genuinely enjoyable but now I'll be spending 0.

Hi everyone! I'm a total beginner surfer and just starting out. I had my first lesson that was great, I expected nothing but managed to get up and ride some small white waves and by the end of it my stance felt better than at the start. Didn't start paddling, my instructor would set me up and just let go at the right time so I could literally just focus on getting up and standing. Technique (I got shown 3 different ways on land) and we settled for me bringing back leg round (like doing a breastroke leg if that makes sense) and planting foot, then bringing front foot straight through and taking it easy to stand.
Second lesson was with a different company as I'd moved location, and I basically got told everything I was doing was wrong and that I needed to stand up in one very particular way and I was doing that incorrectly. But I needed to unlearn everything I did. This way was to basically do a plank stand then bring back foot straight up, then bring foot up and stand at the same time. I've probably not explained myself very well. Anyway, was utterly crap and just couldn't do it. Halfway through the lesson I just went back to doing what I was doing first time and lo I was getting better (though I was a bit disheartened at this point so my mind wasn't really in it). Also don't think it helped I was with two young 'uns (they were 18, I'm 37, and they could obviously just do it straight away haha) but the instructor focused more on them and kept me to one side even before we got in the water because I was doing it wrong.
Problem is I know nothing about it so don't know if I was being taught bad habits in my first lesson and actually I should be doing it the second way? I figured surely it ultimately doesn't matter and you just get up whichever technique feels right to you? However I'm a skier and know that's not necessarily true and there are definitely techniques that will make you feel more in control, but then I guess ultimately as long as you feel in control skiing then go for it you don't have to look pretty. Is this the same with surfing?
What do you all think? I'm going with a different school tomorrow and having a private lesson again instead of group so will see. Not giving up just yet!

So I am a fresher and recently got placed in WIPRO, it's a HRO process and the package is just 3.08 LPA, and the work location is also either Gurgaon or Noida, for which I will have to relocate and search for a room or pg and other stuff, the in hand salary will be around 21.5K and almost 50% of salary if not more will be gone towards rent and food, I'm not complaining but yes it would be difficult, I am currently pursuing BBA, joining a government job is like a goal for me at this moment, but I have in the back of my mind, taking CAT and doing MBA as a backup, I need guidance from someone who can relate to or can see clearly what could be the next obvious step, is it to join the job, or take up CGL preperation more seriously, I know Asking for advice for this much personal decision feels wrong, but when overwhelmed with different things focus becomes miopic, and it's always a good decision to take advice from someone who has first hand experience for the same.

Hello I just wanted to ask this question I'm just debating on this as my freind and i. been stuck on plat for few years and honestly recently I started playing again after months and I'm in plat 1 and he got on again and he was gold 2 and we been playing since ranking deranking back.
Reason we both been stuck on not reaching diamond is just our mistakes I sometimes go to corner or I push to a ball when he's in air, while his is just missing or accidently bumping ball away from goal or in their own I admit I do screw up too much times but even he has too.
We been both frustrated but he suggested I should derank cause since Im in plat and he's in gold we are going against tougher matchups and he's getting fed up about it and I don't know I should even derank to be in gold just for him or I should stay in it. He's been mad at me cause we are getting in harder matchups and he's just saying maybe derank it would be easier.he's fed up ...
So again as I want to ask should even unrank for my freind just to be in his level so we can have "easier matchups?" I don't want to derank at all cause I felt I earned it with him but somehow game got him in gold when he did the 10 unranks.
I'm sorry for this post sounds confusing I just don't understand. Would it even make matchups and ranking easier if we both were in same level??.

42F - I'm completely and totally dependent on my mother both emotionally and mentally. Growing up, she always did everything for me and never told me to help around the house (she wanted me to focus on my studies). Here I am at the age of 42 : I've never had a job, I can't cook and I'm on disability (bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety and depression). I was a (very anxious) straight-A student but I've completely failed to launch. I have no friends and I've never been in a relationship. My father was a tyrant (they're now divorced) so my whole mental space was always "occupied" by my mother. I was obsessed with her, her safety and her well-being. There was a lot of enmeshment. Whenever I feel down or worry about something I feel the urge to call her. I call her several times a day. She forced me to live on my own 5 years ago for me to be more independent but I often wish I was still living with her. I feel super lonely without her, I cry a lot and feel completely lost. I don't know where to start to become an adult. I don't know what kind of relationship I should have with my mother. I feel like a lost soul and a lost child. I know my whole world will explode when she'll pass away and my biggest wish is to die before her. Please don't be too harsh in your replies and sorry if my writing is funny, English isn't my 1st language.

As funny as it sounds it's actually kinda scary for me atleast. So our family has bought a new home toh udhar painting ka kaam ho rha hai, iske liye i had to like buy some equipment and kuch na kaam aa hi jaata tha aur mere naye ghar ke paas itne street dogs hai, the first time I and a worker were moving the ladder from my current house to the new house(5 mins a rasta hai) toh usmai. 4-5 dogs started chasing us, they were behind so mujhe utna farq nhi pada kyuni peeche toh woh baitha tha. The second time i was going home after things were done and bhai jidhar main rehta abhi udhar ke streets bhi started chasing me, atleast 4 honge. The third time i was alone, gking back to my new home with some work equipment aur bhai iss baar toh 6-7 kutte peeche pad gye, ek toh bc sabse zyada close tha pta nhi uska kya biagada tha maine aur saale ki aakh bhi nhi khul rhi poori, neend main tha shayad bc still almost kaat le kisi tarah bach gya main. Fk them dogs bruh, i didn't even do anything to them why they on me like i am some terrorist. Anyone one who goes out frequently will obviously hate street dogs as they are a pain, although aaj tak kabhi kaata nhi kisne but I've been way too close for that. Actual chor aata hai toh sabse pehle yahi log bhaagte... sorry for the rant, kar bhi kya sakte humlog hehe.
