2025.01.30 14:33 Turbulent_Square_789 The Dragon Prince is a Series I WANT to love But… My Rant about the Dragon Prince.
Honestly Netflix’s The Dragon Prince is a series that honestly is kinda frustrating to me. I was honestly intrigued in the show in Seasons 1 - 3 (Season 3 and second half of Season 2 being my personal favorite parts, mainly Aaravos)
The protagonist and the ‘heroes’ aren’t badly written but most of them, even by Season SEVEN just feels so forgettable that the Only ones I will care about are Soren, Rayla and probably Ezran.
The only characters that’s genuinely kept me engaged throughout the first three seasons were ironically the antagonist Viren, Soren, Claudia and lastly Aaravos because they practically feel like the most interesting characters in the whole show with real dimension to them. Well that’s Double for Viren but Aaravos especially became more interesting after Season 6.
After watching Season 7 recently at this point I am getting tired with how the show feels like it’s dragging its feet along.
Yeah this was just My opinions on why the Dragon Prince has just lost its appeal to me at this point. Though I believe Season 4 was the beginning of the end for me and only parts of the other Seasons 5-6 saved me from completely quitting the Dragon Prince. That being Finnegram, as short as his screentime was. And of course Viren’s whole coma flashback in Season 5.

I may be missing something, but am curious if others see this behaviour too.
I'm running my Flipper stock and am currently at FW1.2.0 (build date 23-1) It's been a couple of days since I first updated to 1.2.0, the day before yesterday I did so again. But now my Android App is showing again a new update but it's 1.2.0 again.
Are these indeed new updates or is something going awry?

2025.01.30 14:33 FoxGaming Why is it legal for stoplights to skip over bicycles until a car is present?
I’m not even talking about the pressure/ magnetic plates that detect when a car is waiting, but rarely a cyclist.
I commute along a dedicated bike lane that runs parallel to an existing road. On this route, there is a busy intersection with stoplights for both cars and cyclists. To indicate that I’m waiting as a cyclist, I press a button. However, the stoplight cycle will disregard my button press and perpetually skip over me until a car is also waiting next to me at the light. How the fuck is this legal? It’s not just this light, and it’s not limited to cyclists. Most of the crosswalks in my town will skip over pedestrians until multiple buttons are pressed, or if a car is also waiting to travel parallel to pedestrians. It’s so shitty. This system forces you to either run red lights or jaywalk. Sorry for the rant, I’m just tired.
