I wish I had known this at first 🤦🏻♀️
Put 3 pieces of masking tape down and lay your siding over it so the ends and middle are secure and then paint. This helps the wood from curling when it's wet with paint. Which it will do and you'll have a time getting it to lay flat and look really good.
Anyway, just thought I'd share while I was doing it myself. 😀

2025.01.30 15:02 ladypastelle Horrid Testing Center experience and/or Scratch Pad rule???
Took the GMAT for the second time today in 5 weeks, and experienced a 30-point drop, because of a horrid testing center (different from where I took it the first time).
At the first testing center where I took it five weeks ago, they gave clear instructions: to raise my hand for a new booklet, and that I wasn’t allowed to have two booklets at the same time.
It was consistent with what I’d read here and on GMAT Club, so I did, and strategized switching booklets in between each section. (I do V > DI > Q)
This second time, I didn’t particularly pay attention to how big my handwriting was on the scratch pad, because I assumed the rules would be the same.
I’d filled up almost the entire scratch booklet with listing down Conclusions and Premises throughout Verbal, then asked for a new booklet right before DI.
Which one of the proctors gave, swapping them out.
I reached MID-SOLUTION of the 3rd DI question, and she comes back to tap me on the shoulder, and explain to me that I’m only allowed one booklet, THEN proceeds to give me unsolicited advice on how to save space WHILE my clock was running 😩
Not only was my train of thought completely disrupted—and the booklet with said train of thought taken away from me—my entire momentum was ruined after barely touching the second section.
Everything me so flustered and anxious, I contemplated asking what would happen if I walked out mid-exam. Because that incident was all on top of how apathetic, impatient, and rude I found the staff at this specific center compared to my first one, l swear I’m not overreacting just about the booklets (even though, they honestly were a big deal to me!!)
So I continued the rest of the exam barely to focus, because I was anxiously waiting for someone to tap my shoulder AGAIN for whatever new reason, and I squished the rest of my DI and Quant into like 3 sheets of paper. Making careless mistakes and misreading my own handwriting because they could barely fit.
I’m sorry, I’m rambling, but I’m just SO devastated. Beyond devastated.
I’d been studying on TTP and official mocks for 6 months, dedicated the effort and the hours on top of work. I had a clear five-week plan to improve on my weaknesses from the Score Report of my first Official attempt, and I can’t help but feel like it all just went to the garbage because of choosing a different testing center.
I guess it’s irrelevant at this point, but just for my peace of mind: I wanted to know if we really ARE allowed multiple booklets.
Maybe the first center I went to was wrong, maybe they were right.
I’m just so heartbroken that a standardized test has such un-standardized behaviors and protocols, depending on the center.

The plane crash in DC last night and my friend's daughter getting NV this morning has sent me into a mental spiral. Been trying to practice 15 minute calm down intervals to no avail. Debating taking a 1/8 Xanax at work to take the edge off. Heart rate bouncing between low 90s and 120 bpm (resting is 74 bpm). Also my face is itching while at the doctors office for an ortho appt and can't scratch because fear 🫠 maybe just needed to vent idk but tired of today. Stomach on a roller coaster it feels like.
