 | whatever algorithm is responsible for the dress code requirements needs a massive overhaul. the amount of times that the requirements directly contradict each other to the point where they might as well be telling you exactly what item to wear is crazy. seems kind of sketchy, like they’re giving the illusion of choice but then still forcing us into the MOST expensive item possible. like this event: the shorts are required, and so is a chic turquoise cotton item. But 4/6 items are also bottoms/jumpsuits so they can’t be worn. and the only items that can be worn are 950 and 1150 gems. why not just make the requirement a chic turquoise cotton jacket then? those are the only items that can count here. (obviously i know we can use user created items but those are also quite expensive and i often hesitate to buy them because of the invisibility glitch. if we’re hoping to limit gems spent or use dollars instead - SOL.) i enjoy the dress code aspect of the game, just wish the game provided better options for the requirements they themselves are putting down. just comes off as money hungry submitted by petrichorps to pocketstyler [link] [comments] |

Does anyone happen to use the streaming app Apollo or Sunlight to stream their games? I'm having a ton of encoding latency when streaming from a new-build PC running Apollo to an Xbox running Moonlight. On my old GTX 1070, the latency was basically imperceptible - basically felt like playing locally. On the Arc B580 though, I'm getting a ton of latency that bounces from 15ms to 30ms.
If anyone has any thoughts on settings that can improve this, that would be great.

I am thinking of getting a Kardiamobile 6L, without a monthly membership fee, but the marketing material etc seems evasive on whether I would be able to email a pdf of the ECG results to myself. Prior to involving a doctor, I would be more comfortable studying the waveforms in detail myself, using the pdf output, rather than rely on the Kardiamobile assessment (where PVCs can generate false afib warnings). Thanks.

My dad bought a bike several years ago but ended up passing away. No will or anything left for us (his kids) to take legal ownership of his bike. We’re not worried about that as it’s in storage and maintained etc.
The question is, I renewed its vehicle registration (in Florida, where it is registered and where I live) for one year instead of two years.
One year passed and the registration expired back in August 2024. I went to try and renew the registration at the kiosk and was not able to. I asked the clerk and she said she thinks you can only renew the registration once when a person passes. I’ve looked on the FLDHSMV website along with the Online Sunshine for the statute number saying this but cannot find anything anywhere.
I’d like a reference or something somewhere saying you can only renew the registration once. I spoke to a dealer and he said no, you can do it indefinitely as long as you keep the insurance up to date for the vehicle, which in Florida motorcycles are NOT required to have insurance like I do on two of my bikes.
Anyone have anything? I’d like to renew the registration and take the bike out whenever I think about my dad riding it.
We are working with an attorney to get legal ownership of the bike but it’s taking months. Just would like to take it for a spin without worrying of getting pulled over & ticketed/impounded

I love Aldi, I will never not. But I have a small roast/funny wtf story about there I wanted to share, I’d love to hear yours.
For context before I even start: 1, been there done that I was a grocery store employee for 5 years so I totally get it no hate. 2. I try never to go anywhere right at close because that’s the worst.
I went to my Aldi at 7pm recently, I know it’s with in the hour to close but it was literally right at 7 and it was the only time I could go. Anyway I get there, the employees are starting closing duties. Cool cool. I start down the produce isle, get caught in the middle of the produce isle between a customer and their cart to the literal side of me so I couldn’t move to the side and the employees body in front of my cart, the employees mop to the side of me. So I was stuck, I guess I could of put in reverse but I gave it a second to see if someone would move. Nope. The employee had to mop and to do so he continued to mop forward and mopped by shoes 😂😂😂 I’m not even kidding he took the big wet mop right over my feet and kept going like nothing happened. Anytime I saw him in the isles with his mops I literally did a 180 and went the other way out fear, like a small critter in the night to their prey.
I was out of there no later than 730, would of been quicker if I owned up to my fears and stopped turning around everytime I saw The Mop Man.
Anywho, roast/weird story: Aldi and Aldi employees, I love and respect you but please don’t mop my feet 😂😂

Hey! So I've just about fully completed most of the modpack I was playing (cobblemon+bigchadguys) and am looking for something with more magic and tech in mind. I've played vault hunters previously and it has a lot of the mods I'd like to play with but I despise having mods locked behind knowledge stars, resources locked behind repetitive RNG-based vault grinding and everything either being disabled or obscenely expensive, hence the title of the post asking for any packs that are similar to vault hunters but preferably without the inclusion of the actual vault hunters mod and anything associated with it. Or if it would be any easier, is it possible to simply remove vault hunters from the pack and have everything else in it work fine?
TLDR: looking for a modpack with the collection of mods from vault hunters pack but without including vault hunters.
