I have a 9gal Fluval Flex that Iāll be setting up soon. Itāll be a botanical/blackwater tank. Would love tips on building an aquascape for an Imbellis! Iāve been reading up on them online but there isnāt a whole lot of info, and I prefer to hear from people thatāve owned one themself. Is it possible to keep a pair in the tank? I have an extra 5gal if I ever need to separate. And are there any tank mates that do really well with them (different from what regular bettas can be housed with)?

I have a Mitsubishi mini split and Iāve set it up for control via Home Assistant via Esphome via www.github.com/geoffdavis/esphome-mitsubishiheatpump.
This is great for my own control from my phone, but Iād like for family staying over to be able to adjust the temperature. I think the remotes that came with the mini split are ugly, have clunky UI, and are easy to lose (and theyāve confused guests already) so Iād like a simple-ish wall thermostat.
Is there a battery-powered smart thermostat I can connect to Home Assistant to just set target temperature and mode and display the current room temperature?
Iāve seen the Honeywell T6 Pro Z-Wave and it seems like it might be the answer but I donāt know if itāll run fully wirelessly or how long the batteries will last that way.

Hoping someone can help me feel less stressed/more prepared (would be happy with either)
Husband (age 64) has a recent elevated PSA 6.33, up from 2.65 year prior (trend below). Saw urologist who ordered ExoDx which came back elevated at 60 which is super concerning to me. Doctor called and said he has a 50% chance of finding aggressive cancer on biopsy. MRI next week with biopsy discussion to follow (I assume the suggestion might be to proceed regardless of MRI results). Prostate was around 50cc on digital examination but doctor says he didnāt feel any nodules.
No real risk factors, history of prostatitis at a young age (20s!) then again in 50s and early 60s. Does not believe he has a family history of prostate cancer. Eats healthy, exercises fairly regularly, no other health problems.
Symptoms: Mild, mild ED (no difficulty with erections, doesnāt always climax), minimal urinary symptoms (pees once, sometimes twice at night), rarely experiences weak stream.
Trying to be realistic without panicking, because I need to be tough for him and supportive. We have a considerable age gap, he is older, but have a healthy and wonderful sex life, which makes the thought of a possible prostatectomy particularly distressing. We have young kids (7 and 11) as well and I donāt want them to lose their dad if this is cancer and we choose a treatment with less side effects which I know is what he will want (and to be honest, if we could avoid a prostatectomy entirely, that would be GREAT for me as well š).
ā”ļøā”ļøā”ļøWondering a few thingsā should I be as worried as I am? If this is cancer, what can I do as his partner to be helpful and supportive? What are thoughts/regrets on potential treatment options?

I have a 2025 Kia Telluride SX X-Line. It didnāt come with wireless CarPlay so I bought an adapter. At first, it connected with no issue. Now, about half of the time, it seems to be connecting to my Bluetooth radio and the CarPlay and neither one of them will work. I can try to play a song on CarPlay, but it will flip over to the telluride radio via Bluetooth but it won't play the song from either place. I have to unplug the adapter, plug it right back in and then it will work fine. I can't figure out if this is an adapter issue or a telluride software issue. Any advice?

Hello, I wanted to seek help hence why I am coming to this sub for help because I can understand DSA and coding topics well conceptually; however, when it comes to actually writing code and drawing it out I tend to struggle a little bit. I have something called the Foundation Exam, which is a test at my university which is highly dependent on DSA in C, and since the test is all done by hand, I feel like I wont have the resources I need to succeed after this semester.
I wanted to come here and ask for advice on how I can improve my skills on writing code as tracing is a stronger skill that I have. I lack gaining that spontaneous idea of what to do when prompt 'write this code to do xyz'
Primarily, I am looking for resources to help master C and be able to hand write my code efficiently, thank you.

Hey everyone! My wife and I are US citizens living in Michigan. I've wanted to live in the UK my entire life (as long as I can remember) and now my wife wants to as well. We took an extended vacation in the UK last year and visited many cities, and fell in love with the way of life. When we returned, we focused on trying to make something happen to get over there.
Now with everything happening in the US, that has only sped up our timetable. The goal is to be there by the end of 2025. The only unknown is how exactly we do it.
One option is the school route. I applied to a variety of Universities for a Master's program, and got into all of them. Pros - easy (or easier) visa process and ability to work while getting an education. I get a good education, and it seems like the ability to find a job in the UK afterwards is high. Pros as well can be a definitive timeframe, and could be a city we haven't visited yet and could enjoy. Cons, the cost of school, and spousal visa allowance seems frustrating (needing a scholarship sponsored by a Government).
The other option is the job route, though we've seen zero success in this. I've applied to jobs, and my wife has applied to jobs as well. Zero interviews. We've been consistently applying to jobs since we returned from our trip at the end of 2023, and have never made it past the application. I have a finance degree, and own a small real estate management company. I can work remote, and have the bandwidth to do this while living over there / going to school over there. My wife is a senior graphic designer, and has her degree in graphic design. She used to be able to work remote, but her large agency just pulled everyone back to the office and will most likely fire her if she tries to be remote full time. One of her coworkers moved to Texas to take care of a sick relative for a few months and was fired.
My questions to this community are:
- Are there any companies hiring in the UK right now that are US-citizen friendly?
- Are there any headhunters / recruiters that can help place us in a job, even if it's temporary?
- Is there anything specific we should be putting in the job applications to help us stand out? A big question is always "do you have the right to work in the UK" which is obviously a no right now, as we need to be sponsored.
- On that note, is there any alternative way to be sponsored so we have a legal right to work / live in the UK?
