2025.01.30 23:42 HelplessTiger I’ve been on and off sertraline for years and feel like I want to be myself again.
To give a bit of background I am a 23 year old male and I’ve struggled with my mental health from the age of about 14. I was only recently diagnosed with ADHD last year and a few months after with OCD.
Firstly I don’t regret taking sertraline nor do I urge anyone to stay clear of it. Everyone’s different and I think sometimes people still dismiss that and think someone else’s experience will be the same as yours. It’s definitely helped me a lot when I was in my darkest place and I wouldn’t be against taking it again if I find myself there once more.
However recently I’ve gone down from 100mg to 50mg and for the first time in a long time I feel like I can let my emotions be. I cried properly for the first time in months and I feel so much better for it. When I did get down on sertraline I felt like it was impossible to cry but not in a nice way. It felt so good to just let my emotions come out and let them pass. Nothing even triggered it I just had this overwhelming feeling and let it happen. I don’t want to go back to how I was but I also don’t want to lose who I am even if that brings more negatives back into my life. I miss being able to cry when something went wrong. I miss actually having the desire to meet girls and get into a relationship. I miss being able to have my fast metabolism back and not stick on loads of weight. I miss being able to wake up and not have to think what the fuck was that dream about. And most of all I miss just being able to orgasm and sustain an erection :)
The thing is I’ve been in this position before and stopped the medication suddenly which I’m not going to do this time. I want to slowly wean off the sertraline but I’m also scared of relapsing back into depression. I am also on Elvanse currently which is for my ADHD but I’m not seeing this as big of an issue because it is something that wears off throughout the day and helps the symptoms of my main condition. I have spoken with my doctor and I understand they will be able to give the best medical advice but I want to hear other people’s experiences.
If I lower my dosage overtime will these side effects of the medication weaken? If you have lowered it how long would you recommend staying on another dose before going lower again e.g 25mg? If you did come off it did you eventually get down to 0 or was there a dose which you found has a good balance of improving mental health but not causing too many side effects?

2025.01.30 23:42 Averagemanguy91 Is there an easier way to test custom battles when something isn't working properly?
I'm very proud of this Vegeta gauntlet I made, but I went a bit overboard and ended up borking it somehow and causing the ai to bug out with damage %.
Pretty much it starts with vegeta in base, then he goes along each transformation until baby steals his body. Then you repeat it with baby until he goes Great Ape. Then vegeta gets his body back and you finish it with a climactic fight with him in blue.
Only issue is I've never been able to really get baby vegeta to properly go into great ape while regaining his health or even transforming properly.
I tried using the tables but when I fix one thing, another breaks. I left this alone for a month or 2 and came back to it and would like to finally post it. Anyone have a similar issue or know an easier fix?

Hello, I am 20F and found out i have a submucosal fibroid. I had been bleeding for months and was just prescribed a birth control to control the bleeding (Syeda) I had never been on birth control before. Two months into using it i am skipping the placebo pills to not get my period and all of a sudden I’m bleeding SO heavily and had extreme cramps that last almost all day. I have to take 6 ibuprofens and 3-4 Tylenol pills for it to manage in a day. I ended up going to the ER one day and found out i have a fibroid. I have a follow up appointment with my gynecologist on Tuesday and was prescribed Tylenol/codeine 300mg for the pain. Which i have to take with more ibuprofen because the Tylenol/codeine is not enough. I’m just really scared and worried right now i have no idea what is gonna happen or how to get rid of them.
