Six months ago, I started this AI film, not really knowing what I was doing as I was in the midst of a u/Curious_Refuge AI Filmmaking course —just knowing I had to create something. Technology has improved a lot since then, and I know this isn’t perfect, but that’s not why I’m sharing it.
I wrote this poem during a time when I felt like my dreams were slipping away. I had just had my second baby. The film industry was crashing. I felt so lost. But I kept thinking about Simone Biles—the way she kept rising, the way she pushed forward even when the world expected so much of her. Her story reminds me to keep going, to do the work even when it feels pointless. Now, as we are all still recovering from the fires I feel like I should just be brave and share.
I don’t know if this will resonate with anyone, but if you’re in a place where you feel like giving up, I hope this makes you feel a little less alone.
(Curious to hear what you think—good, bad, whatever. Just wanted to put it out there.)

We have over a million Hilton points but we need to use them for something because our aspire credits expire at the end of June.
I always wrestle with this on point redemption. Yes we have $400 in credits but we have to force a vacation and spend points when the timing isn’t right because we “might as well”
(The nature of my husband job is that outside of major US holidays we can’t predict more than six weeks out if he will be able to travel.)
I want to save as many Hilton points as possible for a XMas/NYE trip and I’m considering just forfeiting the credit because I don’t want to spend 400k pts just bc I have this aspire credit.
Most years we don’t use our 35k Marriott Certs or Hyatt 1-4 certs because the hotels aren’t desirable and we don’t care as we have other free nights. But this would be the first time I’m doing that with Hilton.
How do you decide “whatever it’s not worth it”

How bad is this in terms of efficiency? I am very rusty and haven’t made a pc build since 2017.
I also have a WD 12TB Gold from my 2017 pc that I plan on adding to this pc.
I will also have to check availability for a white ram and psu, since they are both in black color and the build is going towards white.
