I started to watch HxH for 4th time and I realised something. in hunter exam hisoka hits gon and he says "I''l get that badge when you hit me like that"(or something like that) and in arena arc gon hits hisoka with his nen and hisoka tooks his badge back. In the same arc we learned if you get hit by aura your nen will be awaken by force. does that mean in hunter exam hisoka didnt use his nen when he hits gon or is this a plot flaw ?

Hello. I just had a meeting with my urologist over a large kidney cyst on my left kidney measuring just under 12cm. A bit of a back story for relevance; when I was 39 I had my daughter and upon discharge was told I had a cyst about 8cm on my kidney. To just keep an eye on it. Ffwd to 2 years later it was 10cm. Then in spring of 2023 when I was 43 I went in for a CT to look at said cyst. I was then called in a week later and told my opposite kidney had a clear cell renal carcinoma. So essentially my cyst baby (that’s my living name for it) saved my life as the doctor said by the time I would have been showing symptoms — my diagnosis would not have been a good one. Two weeks later I had a partial nephrectomy and had clear margins! Yay!
However the discomfort of my left kidney has kept on (sort of like a pressure, sometimes throbbing, sometimes radiating pain. Sometimes I’m fine) and sleeping on my left side is a no go.
After speaking with my urologist and being dismissed for the past 5 years that the cyst should just be left alone… as of this morning he told me he would remove it. However because of where it is the biggest foreseeable side effects (as always risk of bleeding) was possible urine leakage.
For context my cyst by one radiologist is a bosniak 1 and a different one said bosniak 2. So still simple.
(I am not healthy. I have cushings (possible long story as I was diagnosed and had surgery and now they are back tracking.)
I have so many concerns. This is a big surgery. I’m not in horrible pain. Just uncomfortable at times (especially sleeping) The cyst is growing. Slowly. But growing. I have a history of kidney cancer. I’m not getting younger and if it continues to grow it will 100% be a problem later. I don’t have anyone to really talk about with this. The doctor is very well known. So I’m in good hands. It’s just even he is like “you can get it. Or not. It’s up to you”
Just any thoughts, would greatly help me weigh all this out in my mind.

This is my first Reddit post, so feels kind of daunting, but I came across the community from a post on X and thought what the hell - why not?
29M in the UK, got a degree from a ‘good’ university in Business Management (wasn’t sure what I wanted to do), left University and started an event catering business
Decent business (read fun) but difficult for scalability and very very reliant on external factors: such as the weather, footfall etc. as we were trading at music Festivals, and small food fairs. I wasn’t excited about the product, although I had worked for a similar establishment since I was around 14 y/o so it felt like a good ‘fit’ for leaving Uni, and something I could jump straight into with my savings from working shifts in a nightclub. I wasn’t at all interested in working for a company or someone else. Sold the business during COVID and made a slight profit on the asset value, which I poured into a property investment business.
Didn’t ‘love’ the asset, but was fascinated by the mechanics of investment and capital etc so was drawn into the world. I hate agency/estate agents/property gurus so logically ended up as a sourcing agent for a Supported Housing strategy.
Worked for 2 years to grow the agency and paid to have a specialist piece of software made to screen for deals (which I thought was the bottle neck, but turned out not to be). I had a good pipeline of complex deals which all fell through at the beginning of 2023 (market/interest rates/investment product collapse/bankruptcy etc etc). My pipeline of £250k fees literally dried up in a matter of weeks, as the partners I was working with were left holding their dicks, and one of the sites I was working on even burnt down, lol. Lost money (20k ish) and had to move back to my parents house.
I learnt alot about the industry and negotiation, deal structure, finance, problem solving, dealing with difficult people and processes, streamlining things etc which I’ve realised (now) is what my interest is. I don’t care about a specific industry.
It’s taken me around 18 months to start to feel like myself again. I’m fascinated by small businesses, SaaS, negotiations, strategy and ‘bigger picture’ stuff. I even had a deep conversation with Deep Seek which was tremendously helpful: seems stupid but it felt like a therapist, the model was quite objective and in turn very encouraging.
For me, the thing that’s kept me going throughout all of this, especially in the darkest of times, is just to ask people if I can help them. “Can I help with anything?” is a pretty powerful question. I’ve built a website for a coaching business, worked as a tree surgeon for a bit, and now I’m consulting for a friend’s friend’s property business - I’m writing my own Substack now to explore buying and investing in small and micro businesses. I don’t know what I’m doing or if it will work.
But something clicked in my head this morning. I read a tweet and now I’m posting this.
Just give it one more day. And after that, another day, too. This is all a ramble and very condensed, but if you’re reading this then I hope you know I was feeling like shit everyday for so long, and now I don’t feel as shit for ad many days.

2025.01.30 17:51 cat_attack_ I'm supposed to fly to DCA tomorrow. Can someone put me at ease?
First and foremost, I'm not trying to center myself in this tragedy, and I feel awful for everyone involved. I'm also not pointing fingers at anybody. But I'm kinda shitting myself here. Tomorrow (Friday), I'm supposed to fly from CLT to DCA on AA on a non-refundable flight for a pretty important trip.
I don't fly frequently, so it is already an anxious experience for me, and I'm sure I'm being completely irrational. I guess I'm worried that everyone's (understandable) feelings and grief will exacerbate the situation? Honestly, I'm not really sure what I'm worried about, I'm just feeling anxious. Does anybody have some insight that might help?

So l met a girl about two weeks ago at a party and she approached me, we talked, had a lot in common etc, so at the end of the night I asked for her socials and the next day I asked if she wanted to meet up for drinks. She seemed equally enthusiastic about it so we did a couple of days later.
It went really well I thought, good chemistry, she found me funny and interesting and asked me lots of questions and we chatted for about 4.5 hours, no awkwardness at all. At the end of the night we kissed and just as I got back home she messaged me saying she had fun and wanted to see me again next week to which I said yea, definitely just let me know when you're free.
I didn't message her over the rest of the week as I didn't really have anything else to say and also I had a lot of work to do and was generally busy. So on Monday I tried to follow up on meeting this week but since then it's been complete radio silence... she hasn't even opened my messages.
It just strikes me as odd that you can go from being so enthusiastic about seeing someone and wanting a second date to not responding to them in just under a week.
