I contemplated posting this, but maybe it’ll make me feel less alone.
My partner and I broke up after almost seven months of dating. We were I would say “madly in love” and I changed my entire life for him which I understand is wrong. We both played music together so beautifully. I’ve never played music with anyone the way I did with him, and he made me grow as a musician. We started a duo group together and had a tour planned in Florida and Colorado that is now entirely over. He was an established musician, but I am not so essentially I lost absolutely everything, and he still gets to be a musician and potentially play the gigs without me.
During our breakup, it was apparent he couldn’t handle the breakup and was very resentful towards me and did several things that were just mean and hateful.
Him and I both had gotten out of six year relationships 6 months to a year Pryer(he was married and I lived with someone) and I don think it was a good idea to be in a relationship with him. We were “so right” for each other that we had no doubts.
He was perfect aside from his lack of empathy and sympathy towards me. It was scary how shut off he got towards me during arguments and it didn’t matter how much I cried he didn’t console me. He always fount a reason to be upset when I was a pretty good girlfriend.
I can’t keep myself from thinking about him and missing him, and I wish I knew how long it was going to take me to be okay again. I had a miscarriage right during our breakup and he wasn’t there for me. He blocked me and didn’t make sure I was taken care of. Too much trauma has happened and I don’t know when I’ll be okay again.
I lost my dream career, my partner, a baby, and everything I loved.

in what i've read online coturnix hens don't get broody that often if at all, so i was curious if anyone had experience with a hen that actually incubated her own eggs. if i leave my hen's in with her she will sit on them and so will her husband, but they aren't getting broody by any means. wondered if it was worth leaving them in for her or if i should just continue collecting them. thanks :^)

 | Dear experiences cat owners! Our two four months old kitten’s favourite place is nowadays the (pretty cold) conservatory. They sit there watching outside for ages and we have the feeling that they really want to go outside. We have to wait for their neutering anyway, which will be at around 5 months. But once that’s done and healed: we will likely allow them to go out. Our plan is to stop free feeding beforehand and get them used to regular feeding times so that we can call them inside for “dinner time”. A GPS tracker is a must have for us as we have quite a large wood outside our house. Any other recommendations that we should do in preparation for their first outside experience? Outreach, and using facts and reason does not work on them. We have coddled them, given them infinite space to work through their assumptions and emotions. We have worked to make them feel seen, on the flimsy hope they might extend a fraction of an olive branch and see humans as human. It did not work.
They win with tactics designed to degrade and exhaust us. I’m sick of coddling people who just have “DiFErenCes Of OPiNioN”
A difference of opinion is disagreeing about what infrastructure policies work, or what the best way to keep people fed and housed is. NOT wether people get to be fed or housed to begin with. NOT wether people like me get to exist in public or not. Not wether people deserve freedom or not.
These dumbass losers have shown their hand and I am done being told that I need to have empathy for these monsters who have rotted out their own sense of ethics and justice.
Well here’s my opinion: it’s time to borrow their tactics and make it absolutely exhausting to be conservative online AND irl. Don’t let a conservative get a word in. If they say some shit, call it out and don’t let them weasel their way out with their out. Make fun of them for having their shitty beliefs. Talk over them as much as possible. Get personal with it. Target their insecurities so they don’t want to engage with anyone. Never let people forget who holds terrible beliefs in your circles. If people forget what racist shit someone said, fucking remind them. We need to make it miserable and dangerous to be a conservative and fascist because they’re making the world miserable and dangerous for us. Degrade and exhaust them, not just because they deserve it, but because it WORKS. And when they suffer because of trumps policies that WILL MAKE THEIR LIVES WOSE, tell them “I told you so” and don’t let them forget.
Being a conservative is something to be ashamed and embarrassed of and we need to act like it.
As a final note, YES we need room for reform. If someone chooses to change and become good, recognize that. It’s just the current reform strategy has failed spectacularly and it’s time to shift gears.
