2025.01.30 23:29 thegreatestpitt Is it possible/easy to play some guitar songs on banjo? Examples below.
I’m thinking of getting a banjo because I love the sound but oddly enough I’m not like a massive fan of banjo music and much prefer it when the banjo is used as something more similar to a guitar rather than it doing bluegrass solos.
So, with that said, the kinds of songs I’d like to play are songs like:

As you can hear, these songs are guitar centered, but I’m wondering if it’s possible without going above and beyond, to play them in banjo? Or if I should just get a guitar. Like I said, I do enjoy the sound of the banjo more than y that of a guitar but if doing this on a banjo would be too hard because of the difference these instruments have, then I’ll bite the bullet and get a guitar.

J'ai de gros problèmes pour utiliser l'hyperpropulsion afin de voyager de planète en planète. Une fois que les coordonnées sont rentrées, et que l'hyperpropulsion est disponible, il ne se passe rien. J'ai le et un VFX autour du vaisseau. Et c'est tout. Je reste sur place. Impossible d'aller sur kinimi ou tatooine. Quelqu'un a t'il trouvé un workaround pour shunter le problème ?

Hi everyone,
So I was told to follow a very strict protocol with infection control and would like some clarification.
I'm very new to dentistry and haven't been doing it for long but would like your opinion on whether I was wrongfully dismissed or not.
So in my third day of working at a new dentistry I was doing exactly what I was trained to do which was to take gloves off before touching anything on the desk side of the room. I followed exactly the protocol that I was asked to do, but was told to leave because I apparently needed to "just wipe the thing down with an alcohol wipe to go quicker when handling stuff from the draw side of the room to work faster" because " you need to be efficient when working with patients because everything is under a time constraint" and "this isn't the protocol we use here"
I was dismissed because of following the infection control procedures I was instructed to do.. and berated for not following it.
Is this reasonable grounds for being dismissed from the practice? I would like some more clarification.

Alright this is driving me bananas and I have searched everywhere trying to find an answer and have found nothing. I recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy ZFlip 6 and for some reason notifications for some apps are not coming through when I KNOW there should be some. Most notably my Discover app should send me a push notification everytime it is used and it has not been doing this, as well as the game Love and Deepspace sends multiple notifications a day for different reasons and none have been happening. I have notifications turned on for both apps and even gave permissions to everything for both apps and nothing seems to work. Does anybody have any thoughts as to why this is happening and any suggestions to fix it?

Just a few years ago they were all $5, tops. Now they all seem to start at $10 and up to $30, for a single wash that doesn’t even do a great job. And they all try to push you to join a recurring membership, some as much as $40 per month or more. Like I’m gonna drive my car thru the wash every day to make it worth it. Such bullshit. These washes are not worth more than $5
