I had posted this yesterday afternoon, but it got removed because of the rule breakđŹ.
I (F) shifted to my university hostel mid-year with my then-best friend, thinking it would help us both with our attendance and grades. I paid âš2 lakh for the hostel and was still covering rent for my apartment outside (since I had a lot of stuff there). In hindsight, this was a huge mistake.
Before moving in, we were super close. She used to live in an apartment next to her ex, who is also my best friend. Her ex lived with a group of his brothers, and I often acted as a middle ground between the two. But things changed after we moved in.
How Things Got Messy: 1. She Stopped Attending University: While I was serious about improving my grades, she completely stopped going. I wouldn't have minded, but our university has this mentor mentee thing, and her mentor kept coming to me, and her mom too, and she told her mom, I'm lying, and her mom beleived her. I blocked her mom after that, couldn't care less.
- Started Talking to Her Exâs Brother: At first, I assumed it was casual, but it escalated quickly. She started having loud, explicit calls at night, often on speaker. The guy even once asked, "You sure [my name] isn't in the room?" while I was literally right next to her! And she didn't care.
- She Used My Stuff Without Permission: She started using my skincare, body wash, and shampoo. I confronted her, but she shamelessly lied to my face.
- Reading & Copying My Diary (!?): The breaking point was when I found a letter in her handwriting, copying word-for-word from my personal diary. I have no clue why, was she using my thoughts to write to someone else? To show someone? To make fun of me? It was unsettling.
I was furious. As much as I dislike my roommate, no woman deserves this level of disrespect.
The Current Situation: - She disappears for 2-3 days at a time, then returns to the hostel and continues her loud, inappropriate calls. - She sleeps during the day while Iâm at university, making it impossible to have a proper conversation. - My moral compass is forcing me to tell her ex (my best friend) about whatâs happening. If he ever finds out from someone else, he might feel betrayed that I didnât inform him.
What Should I Do? - Should I tell her ex/best friend? Or just stay out of it? - How do I even deal with her at this point? I just want to get through the semester without more stress.
Would love some advice from those whoâve had toxic roommates or morally complicated situations like this.

2025.01.30 18:44 PieceFar2417 Jan 2024 vs Jan 2025.
2024 has been a year or acceptance and learnings, and Iâm grateful for all of it.
A decent calorie deficit took me from 67kgs(2nd pic) to 58kgs (1st pic), and I have been plateauing since Novemberâ24 before going on a break from gym.
Been planning on resuming gym & tweaking the diet to a borderline surplus, and hopefully soon.
Send in motivation, and thoughts on what I could work towards. :)

i find it hard to feel genuine empathy for people. i know i should but i can't. i still try to show it despite that, typically verbally. i can't even feel empathy towards myself either. maybe i gaslight myself out of it? even moments that bring others to tears, i'm standing there like this đ§ââď¸ wondering why i can't do that too. it comes so easy to people around me. i mean clearly something is wrong with me but what exactly? it's all confusing to me

Hey I've noticed matthias isn't uploading on GG (him and Bryan are playing old school games until they are "bored" which is why they said they were gonna change the channel name to Never Bored) or even on Matthias.mp4. So I was wondering if anyone knows what's going on because I know he's "retired" from youtube and he's focusing on his family and mental health more. I've also noticed he doesn't even post on ANY of his socials, he also hasn't give updates to his book he started ages ago (my theory for the book is that it became 863 instead of a book). First of all before diving deep into this process (scroll a bit below) I have to say something that everyone keeps asking me, is it profitable?
Yes. It's by far my most profitable venture outside of my regular 9-5... But it took a lot of work, delegation and building processes to get here. So the one thing I would love to get out of this post - if you have any insights, feedback or tools I might be missing out post them below and let's help each other out.
Now, how you can get started with (AI) YouTube automation:
Pick a topic that is BOTH:
a) in demand b) interesting to you & you have knowledge about
Do everything yourself at first - delegate later
No one cares about the videos as much as you do, so make sure to nail the ideation, scripts, editing, format and packaging yourself first.
Now that we got that out of the way:
Use this workflow:
VidIQ - outliers sections is pure gold, I use it all the time to find trending video packaging, topics, etc.
ChatGPT or Claude - high level video ideas at scale and your assistant (I use projects inside ChatGPT and its really good at managing and prioritizing). If you are using it for scripts please for the love of god, make final edits yourself by hand. Add character, personal insights, ideas, etc.
Katalist AI - all in one video generator tool I use to quickly go from video idea to script, storyboard, AI voiceover and then final visuals. It's surprisingly good and to make a decent video it only takes about 1-2 hours in TOTAL. Once you understand how it works and have a process, delegate to tech savvy VAs / content creators for $5-$15/hour and you have final, good quality videos for less than $30.
Pikzels / Krea AI - your AI thumbnail generator, I dont remember the last time we used Photoshop outside of quick text or image edits. Its basically AI image manipulation at scale and it costs 10-30x less than a human thumbnail designer and the thumbnails are really good.
VidIQ+TubeBuddy - titles & optimization, but you have to know that most of the views come usually from recommended, so dont over obsess and add 392x keywords in your title and description. Its all about the packaging.
Now whats left is track performance & iterate - it's practically impossible to nail it the first few times, but each video you make look at the data (not just in YT studio) and UNDERSTAND why it did not perform as well as you thought it would.
Regarding monetization, adsense sucks - sell digital products. If I was relying on adsense alone I would never ever be profitable, but selling mini digital products and mentioning CTAs in the actual video not just in the description makes this super profitable and scaleable, especially since video production is so cheap.
Final thoughts:
(AI) YouTube automation absolutely works, but itâs not an overnight success or a total hands-off cashcow machine. Itâs a real business and you need systems, consistent effort, iteration, failing and learning along the way.
