I consider myself to be a decent writer, and have always received A's in my English classes. However, when I'm trying to communicate information in an essay, I don't make an attempt to sound "engaging" or "peppy" because I'm someone who finds information far more interesting than the way it's presented. This is why my essays on topics I'm passionate about always bore other people the most. It's so annoying! I can pour my heart into writing something that's clear and concise, but the person who opens their essay with "I was so MOVED by this!" will always be favored. Does anyone else relate to this experience? :)

So I currently have a 24’ Impreza sport and honestly not a fan of the clearance. I keep bottoming out and hitting debris on the road. Going to test drive the crosstrek limited and outback premium, but I just feel the outback may be too big (it’s me, wife and dog)

The Outback premium 23’ with 16,148 miles I see is $28,497 online but again, not sure if this car is too big. We currently snow board and go to mountains on weekend but a lot of city commuting.
Looking to trade in my Impreza, and I’m aware I’ll take a loss, but I do have better income now compared to when I originally got the car and did not expect me to be in the mountains so much now.

Fellow Ozians, I bring good news! I just saw Wicked the play for the first time at the Pantages in LA! (After seeing the movie 5x, the most I've ever seen any movie in my life upon its release.)
To the point - I think identifying Elphaba as the main character and Glinda as a supporting is a fairly easy statement to make. I'm not mad about it, but my friend passionately disagrees. She said that I would feel differently about it after seeing the whole thing and tbh, I don't. I think that we even got to see more of Glinda's character development in Act II and all I'm saying is that I think a strong argument could be made that Wicked is a story of two main characters. After all, I find the core theme of Wicked to be about how friendship can change your life.
Curious to hear thoughts and opinions!

I need help trying to remembefind an anime I have a faint memory of. I saw it late at night in the early 2000’s and unfortunately the only real recollection I have of it is a male character standing on a castle wall? there were two women in the scene, and they started getting whipped/attacked by a black tentacle blob/monster, and I just remember a very red and dark sky setting, and the scene kept jumping back and forth dramatically to the guy, the same scene of the two women being attacked, and the tentacles/arms flailing. It also had an obnoxious voice overlay for the screams from the two women. I’ve been trying to track this show down for over a year now. Any help you guys have would be appreciated! Thanks!
