I always play NDS and GBA games on Nintendo 3DS since it's the most convenient for me, especially the buttons are not reversed compared to for example steam deck - my muscle memory just can't compute such change after years spent on Nintendo handhelds. Out of all the FF titles I’ve played, XV and the first VII Remake are my least favourites.
With XV, my early hours of the game were actually pretty enjoyable. I liked running around with my group and fighting random enemies. I liked how beautiful the open world was, and Sunset Waltz is a great track. However, as I put more hours into it, I started to like the game less and less. The narrative and characters were cool, but the gameplay started to bore me. The combat (imo) started to show its cracks in later hours and the magic system was ABYSMAL. The open world, once you looked past its appearance, was fairly bland with practically nothing to do, and the side quests quickly became repetitive as they just boiled down to fetch quests or killing x amount of creatures. Ironically, I found the game to be at its worst when it took place in the open world and at its best when it became more linear. The plot started to grasp my attention and the varied locations made the game more interesting to play. Overall, while I don’t think the game is necessarily bad, I don’t really understand the praise for it either. To me, it’s a 6/10.
With VII Remake, I found the combat to be a significant improvement over XV, however I quickly grew bored of the game also. I understand that it covered the events of disk 1 from the og, which is why it was so linear, but I really got tired of running down corridor A, fighting corridor A enemies, then running down corridor B, fighting corridor B enemies, then running down corridor C, fighting corridor C enemies and so on. The game would vary itself at times with certain puzzles or scripted sections, but I even found those parts to be somewhat uninteresting. The side quests were nothing special to me either. I didn’t think the game was bad, but I expected a lot more from it with the amount of hype that it had back in 2020. I think it’s a 6.5/10.
I don’t want to seem like a hater. I just want to know if there’s others who share these opinions of mine here.

Hey fellow Explorers,
i played TC and AP when it was released, recently got FL and really enjoy it. Maybe i am missing something or its still only doable via scripts.
I remember a script, where you could bulkbuy ships, select a target sector, add software and stuff and had to pay regular prices. i dont remember if there was reputration tied to it, but i guess it was. on shipyards i am able to equip basic stuff and max. buy 10 ships.
My Idea: buy like 20-50 Ships for me or my factory/factories that are all well equipped to my needs. Like i use m2 and want to fill my hangar with 15 M3 or something...
using my HQ seems way to timeconsuming production wise.
is there something out there or am i missing something?

2025.01.30 19:00 Fish-The-Fish How do you amplify a passive PA through a sound board?

Hey! So my band bought a used fender passport for $100, it was a really good deal! It worked really well, but then we tried to use it with a power generator to do a set in the park, and it blew. It now no longer will turn on (if anyone knows how expensive it would be to repair we'd appreciate that too!), but yeah, so now we bought a soundboard thinking that it would be able to amplify it, but barely any sound comes out of the pa now. It just takes a quarter inch in, and that's all. Any clue on how to amplify them? We've used headphone amplifiers and a chain of 3 headphone amplifers works to power the speakers, but besides that, we haven't figured out an alternative. Please help!! We probably will invest in a powered pa soon, but would love to use these as wedges as they are good speakers and still have use!
