2025.01.31 00:08 Raptorex2000 Running an Astartes/40k spaceship infiltration scenario for a one-shot. Any tips on how to make this game?
I've set my players up to be lvl10 with special impulse frames (gives em flight speed, buffs their base AC to 16) and the scenario they're faced with is the following:
"In this galaxy, all spaceships depend on Relay stations to navigate the stars. But today, one of these stations was completely overrun by a fleet of space ravagers, and now all 10,000 innocents onboard the station are trapped under the grip of their blockade.
You are a team of elite warriors and your mission is simple: Find a way to disrupt the ravager's blockade, and liberate the Relay at any cost."
My only problem is; I wanna give them the freedom to strategize how to break the blockade and give them the choice to infiltrate via the Relay station itself or to just break into the ravager's flagship. I think I know how to run the combat encounters (throw hordes of squishies at them to give them a power fantasy) but I don't know how to give them lots of options for that initial planning phase. Any ideas or suggestions for this entire one-shot?

Looking to take a weekend desert trip with my spouse and dog. We drive a RAV4 adventure so maybe some off roading/ soft roading. We were originally planning on San Bernardino national forest but they have strict no campfire restrictions currently. tent camping, just us 2 and my german shepherd. Hiking can be difficult for a bulky dog like him. If anyone has any suggestions for places to backroad camp I will very much appreciate it! All campsites were reserved already. Thank you!

Since switching to console only lobbies in ranked mode, my squad has managed to kill and wipe a bunch of ex top 250 players. We used to run into these same guys before and they would destroy you before you can even try to shoot at them. But these last 2 days we killed like 7-8 of them and they are literally running around like bots barely shooting back. Are these players really having so much trouble adjusting to playing on console or is this just proof that they were cheating these last couple years?

I've been looking for an AO3 fic I read last year for months and months now and was wondering if anyone here could help.
In it, Aziraphale finds Crowley (in his flat, I believe) struggling with the trauma from his fall and the physical effects it had on him. The fic explores how Crowley is covered in festering injuries like other demons and in constant pain but unlike other demons, he hides his. However, they are suddenly getting worse and he is unable to disguise then. When he becomes ill and delirious with a fever, Aziraphale becomes worried and finds hi. Aziraphale heals his burns (I remember a considerable focus on the ones around his eyes, caused by the tears/grace burning him)human way. At one point Crowley is yell/praying at God. And when he wakes he is angry at Aziraphale for healing his burns because hes tried in the past and they always come back.

As a struggling student who dipped all their savings in this course, I was a bit peeved by the quality of the teaching material. But as a mad fan of the show, I was happy to see the familiar faces on screen.
Since then I have been wondering if one could make a whole course on Business by showing certain scenes from the Office and giving a bit of theory alongside them.
I would definitely include the "How far has it gone" scene with Jo Bennet on a class called "Sexual Politics at the work place".
