Hi all,
Doing a quick pool of the subreddit on how people prefer the Mods handle classified posts (buying and selling). We have had an uptick recently (Sundance driven - we filtered out many automatically before you saw them). There has been quite a few "Ticket for sale" submissions filtered - many of which were just one line and cross posted to multiple subreddits, sometimes not for PC events but showings in SLC as well. And there there have been some other random's we have filtered out (again often for neighboring communities).
But I appreciate we haven't been consistent / had a rule on it. So wanted to gauge community preference here. Given KSL Classifieds, Facebook Marketplace, and Nextdoor exist and are used extensively locally, I don't feel we need to be a classifieds location as well - especially for buying and selling physical items. But I know people have sought and found tickets for various live events here before - and that's useful to people..
Three options below for the poll - essentially delete all classifieds, allow a subset, or have a separate sticky thread we allow classifieds in. Thinking is more the second option - we keep posts for local live/social events that are in PC, and filter out the rest. We'd ask posters to include dates and would remove them after the event date. If you have others you think are workable please leave a comment.

2025.01.30 19:10 guyfrompakistan It's 12 AM. Why are people in this city such utter assholes?
Its 12 AM. And some guy is celebrating a wedding, and because he's too cheap to rent out a venue, he's turned his home into a nightclub.
My home is at least 20 houses away (its a guess because it's so far away that I can't figure out which house it is), but my windows are shaking and walls vibrating.
And this isn't a unique occurance; every asshole in the area does it.
It represents such an utter failure of our social contract; complete lack of consideration for others.
Its 12 AM, people have work. Kids have school. People are sick.
People need peace in their homes. I don't want to sleep in a nightclub.
A few years ago, some guy made a post in pakistan disparaging these events that people host in their homes. The comments were so dismissive and mocked OP for being jealous, not being invited, etc etc etc. This is how pathetically small minded people are.
What is wrong with these people?

 | I bought a 150ah 24v power station for my pc and the current jumps around -10a ~ -20a. The load in terms of watt is around 300. When i tested the pc on another 300ah 24v power station, it only goes to -1.3a. Is there an explanation for this? My 150ah 24v only lasts around 4 hours with 300 watts load from the pc. I am a commuter to my school that uses public transportation. I have a backpack right now that does not work well with the amount of stuff I carry. I carry a 16-17inch laptop, chargers (headphones, tablet, phone, and laptop), iPad, headphones, notebooks, pencil case, umbrella, wallet, small makeup pouch (sometimes), waterbottle - owala 24 oz, and sometimes snacks. This bag has to hold all the things above. I am looking something that is sturdy, in a fun color, and works well for school or travel. Hey y'all!
I've personally been struggling with a serious increase of fatigue lately which has caused a couple of mental breakdowns because I still haven't managed to master being kind to myself. Figured we might all benefit from a reminder that we aren't being lazy or any other decidedly negative thing. Fatigue is a common symptom of MS and chronic fatigue is much different than being 'just tired'.

I for one am regularly fighting some serious spasticity and right sided weakness, the way he describes how that causes exhaustion made me tear up a little and reminded me that this is not a totally self inflicted issue.
