The data that I need protected is on the server at my office. It contains a SQL database and image repository.
The server’s data drive where all that is housed is in RAID1. That drive backs up via Active Backup every day to a Synology NAS in RAID5. Active Backup does that by imaging the whole data drive, so the NAS contains 30 images for the last 30 days.
I also use Synology Drive Client and Drive Server to back the office data drive up daily, offsite to a Synology NAS in RAID1 at my house.
Can you think of anything I should be doing differently? Thanks for the help!

It started right away. After I replaced the battery that died during the crazy -25 we had last week. They used to sit idle at 700rpm now on a cold engine it sits at 1500. Once warmed it's at like 900 ideling in drive at lights. Do I just need to do a throttle cleaning and new air filter? Rest / clean MAF sensor?
Makes me nervous on my daily routine.

2025.01.30 19:11 OnDaPerks First time in fibers (In depth review)
 | Before I get into the review, I do have experience in skating. I’ve been skating overall for about four or five years and I’ve been JB skating for about a year and a couple of months and still going. Before I purchased the HoneyB fibers (34mm), I was skating on a low cut Stacy Adams boot with a Century NTS plate and Mini-Macs (45mm) for about four weeks. I liked the slip at first but once I got used to it I hated how much grip they had and after a while they felt like regular wheels to me. Fast forward, my fibers come in the mail and I built a whole new set up; high top vintage Stacy Adams boot (Leather sole), Century NTS plate and the HoneyB fibers. Here’s my honest review… I took them out to the adult night yesterday at my local rink and off rip the amount of slip was noticeable but not as slippery as I was imagining them to be but it’s probably because of my waxed rink floor. They felt like 90 percent slide and 10 percent grip which my Fomacs felt like 70 percent grip and 30 percent slip. Moves like the grapevine, toe manuals, pivots and slides were significantly easier on fibers and some moves mentioned don’t even require you to remove your feet from the ground as the slip from the fibers will take you any way with faint movements. Gaining speed was actually easy once I learned how to do so. Instead of traditionally pushing like you would on any roller skate I kinda waddled like a penguin keeping my weight more centered than applying it to each foot as when I did that my foot slipped from under me. Other than that, gaining speed using the waddle method is effortless and doesn’t take much energy. I also found that transitions from front to back was a little tricky at first but having prior knowledge from my last set up helped me. Last but not least, doing moves like the grapevine, corkscrew, pivots, beginner slides, and other moves are crazy easy when you apply enough force to get the wheels to slide without really having to remove your feet from the ground. Some drawbacks (Not really drawbacks but human error from me being a beginner on fibers). When I don’t apply enough energy to generate slide when doing moves I feel my wheels catching and causing me to trip up (that 10 percent grip I mentioned earlier). Other than that, the acclimation period was same day, I got used to how they feel like 35 mins into the session and started experimenting with different moves. Footwork and middle work was also pretty easy as well but you have to keep in account that the amount of force you use could activate the slip and fall. Sent 3 emails including a photo of FOID card on Tuesday and never heard back. Sent another email yesterday and didn't hear back. Texted today and haven't heard back. Pistol arrives with him/them tomorrow. How concerned should I be?

So i have been on sharobel (norethisterone) for about 6 months now, i had the weird bleeding at the beginning but then it leveled out. i ended my period on january 3rd and then experienced spotting 4 days later that lasted 3-4 days. My period was supposed to come on the 24th and it didn’t, HOWEVER i feel all the effects of my period except for the bleeding like fatigue, cramps, nausea, and so on. I have taken 2 pregnancy test, one on the day after i realized i was late and one this morning as soon as i woke up, both are negative. I know that progesterone only can stop your period and i’m really happy it did but it just feels off how it randomly stopped. I don’t hate the pill, it did make me gain 15-20 pounds but i needed that extra weight. has anyone else been on progesterone only pill and can give me some insight or share their story!

Bit of a long one so please bare with me..... First I'll start with the basic situation. I 28f, my eldest sister 30f , and my dad (mum's third partner - in fact ill just explain the dad situation. So my bio dad isn't in the pic. My sisters are both full blood but my brother is half blood. My brothers dad was with us til I was 17 after which I exposed his serial abuse. I recanted but he'd been thrown out (only recently as my brother was breaking and in the end ended up reporting but not ppersueing it) my brother was a daddy's boy and moved out with his dad as he didn't want him alone.this split my mum and his dad up, then my mum fell for the man next door and he and my mum got together, he moved in and at first just said he wasn't replacing anyone. Unfortunately in 2020 at the beginning of rhe lock down my mother passed after a one month battle with cancer - a big surprise. (And as a side to show further what a prick my brothers dad is he within 3 months faked cancer to get attention.) During this horrible time for my family my dad (mums partner) stepped up and now we are all very close and we openly call him dad and he calls us his daughters.) Right back to basics. So me my eldest sis and dad live together in a rented house. But my brother has recieved a letter after going to court and is being evicted, his dad has been useless and not helped try to apply for help etc. My brother whose only 25 has applied and applied but they have been repeatedly rejected. Also my brother has a dog....he adores her and she's old and incontennant so high chance she'd be put down if sheltered. Got a last rejection from the last place to help this past week and so don't know what to do. My sister who is my brothers main support knows she can't abandon him and has had to say he could stay with us short term.....the issue comes in that my dad misunderstands my brothers anxiety for disrespect and hence doesn't like him - though has said he'll put a lock on his door and our brother can come stay. However my sister doesn't want our dad uncomfortable in his own house. Plus honestly I dint think my brother would be comfortable either as he struggles seeing our mother's stuff/imagine as her passing hit him really hard. My brothers mental health is in the drain and my sisters now talking about her moving out to be homeless with him and I'm just sat putting headphones on hoping the shouting and crying stops. I have a bit of a strained relationship with my brother due to the hole getting his dad chucked out but we've worked on it over the years and it's okay now. I worry just as much and want what's best (not being with his dad for one!) For him but I also know he won't abandon his dog or dad and times ticking and I don't know if my brothers going to make it to Easter.
We have a muddle sister who live with her husband over an hr away and doesn't take much family responsibility on concerning my brothers situation currently, though she cares and does come spend days with us all.
I'm sorry I've just ranted and tbh I see all sides but have no solutions and just want a hug from my mum right now. Even though I was literally, after a 6 month section and 5 years community recovery, released from mental heal5h.

Hi, i’m a 21 year old female who just completed her Bachelors degree.
I am wondering if anyone can provide insight into why I am being quoted so ridiculously high.
I have been licensed since I was 19 and have no history of bad driving, have a good credit score, and am in need of a car to get me to and from work. I can not join my parents policy.
I have only done instant online quotes so far, but it’s been rough. I have quoted all different years, makes, and models I am interested in, and for Full Coverage I am being quoted between $650-900/month, and even for the bare minimum of liability only (assuming I own and don’t finance a vehicle) I am being quoted $450-800/month. This is mostly through Geico which everyone says is usually the “cheapest” insurer.
I don’t understand why the rates are so insanely high. I know people my age who pay their own insurance and are paying 250-350 (which other people seem to think is obnoxiously high). I have considered and will speak to a broker, but it’s simply confusing to me why these rates would be so high. For example, if I were to finance a used 2007 Honda Accord, i’m being quoted $670-850 per month depending on deductibles, ect. Even if I owned a beat up 1997 buick, they quote me over $450/month for liability only. This has to be outrageous, right? Am I crazy for thinking i’d be able to afford my own car?
Before I graduated I even qualified for the “good student discount” thanks to my GPA. This made hardly a difference.
