I understand that I ultimately have to talk to a lawyer but I am trying to get a better understanding of everything before I consult someone.
I live in Alabama. My parents want to put their land and mobile home into something that will not go to probate when they pass and is transferred to me. I’m just wondering if a trust is the only option or if there is a cheaper but reliable option. It seems like Deeds are not transferable in Alabama or something that I was recently reading

When I was younger lie baby young and my parents were not as great parents, letting strangers enter the house, doing d*ugs, selling, stuff like that, but threw the mix of all that my mom and dad told me it was very very haunted, and just had very negative energy overall. To my older brother seeing a figure in the hallways when he had to use the bathroom at night, stuff falling from the counter many night, tv shutting off and on quickly. The day my mom and dad decided to move is the night my dad had me as I was a baby, she was holding me and playing a toy with me, she then started to feel a hand on her neck, getting tired and tired. My mother said she was terrified that I was gonna get harmed so she help me close in her arms while she was getting chocked by this invisible energy, after saying prayers and saying that it doesn’t scare her and she won’t let anything happen to me, eventually she was let go, thinking about that neighborhood and should still freaks me out.

2025.01.30 18:47 Wannabehappy18 F22 Bloating so atrocious that I got stretch marks. I look pregnant after eating a quarter of a sandwich.
I have been struggling with this issue from 2 years now. Every single time I eat, I bloat like crazy. I have stretch marks and loose skin on my stomach from the constant bloating. I bloat so bad that it is hard to breathe and I start feeling tired. I have gone to different doctors over 2 years with no success. I'm becoming terrified of eating anything. I have strictly followed a low fodmap diet for a year with no success. I eat small meals and chew thoroughly. I wish I could include pictures but I can't figure out how. Just for reference my waist goes from 21 inches to 28~30 inches every time I eat.
I was tested for food allergies, colonoscopy, endoscopy, ct scan and xray. All clear.
I have tried getting mental help and was on meds for a few months with zero success.
I have no problem with heart burn but no matter what I eat I bloat like crazy. I start bloating a few bites in. Most of the time I'm severely constipated and osmotic laxatives don't work well on me. There are some days where I have regular bowl movements but on those days I bloat even more that normal. I have no idea what is wrong with me but I feel like I can't eat anything. I can always here strange gurgling sounds from my abdomen every time I breathe. They are loud and embarrassing.
The only thing that helped me thus far in somewhat reducing the bloating is furosemide which was prescribed of label by a doctor who was sick of seeing me return to his office.

2025.01.30 18:47 Blasecube Turns out the party rogue doesn't know how to rogue. Never assume anything.
TLDR: I just let a player know whatever he wanted because I assumed he knew how to play. He didn't. Not his fault as I don't think any prior DM really taught him. 100% on me.
Now, this is my fault 100%. I've played with this player before in a different campaign, and I DMd for him for a couple of one-shots that set up the campaign that we just began a couple weeks ago. He usually plays a rogue, and this time he's playing a rogue/wizard. I just assumed, since our old DM never corrected him, that he knew what he was doing. Just let him do his things, roll the dice and tell the result.
However, since this is a new campaign with 2024 rules, I started being a bit more nitpicky. Our old DM had a lot of house rules that really unbalanced the action economy in favor of spellcasters, so I tried to be a bit stricter with the rules.
So we start our campaign, we have an encounter (these are level 5 character, he is rogue 3 (thief)/ wizard 2). Bonus action dash, he gets behind an enemy and attempts to do two dagger attacks with advantage to trigger... sneak attack? I was no rogue expert (again, my bad), but I asked him which feature gave him the second attack, and how he got advantage without using cunning action hide. He points to two weapon handling. Still, not really a second attack. I explain the light property and he accepts the ruling, looking genuinely confused.
I took the time to look at his character and his class features and I was kinda blown away. He did have his second attack, thought the Nick weapon mastery, but that was not really the problem, it was that he didn't really know why he had it. So I took some time to explain to him how his class worked, at least on 2024. I hope this will lead to more interesting combat, as his main fighting style was just getting behind an enemy and stabby stab, while in reality he just has a lot of options to trigger the sneak attack.
I'm kinda writing this post after I got curious and checked the rogue on 2014 PHB class features... And well, I still don't think he could have done all he was always doing. But now I know for sure the mistake was just assuming he knew what he was doing and not really paying attention to him to focus on the more inexperienced players.
