now idk if thats the right subreddit to ask this question but im suspicious if im an isfj.
i have good memory for recalling experiences that happened a long time ago for example : my friend could tell me something 1 year ago and he could told it to me again after, and i would still remember that he did say it before - or i remember past traveling experiences sometimes in details
in the other hand when it comes to remembering something like where i put my keys or my phone i get lost and have no clue
what could be the reason ? what cognitive function could i be using ?

2025.01.30 19:10 sdb00913 Need ideas for a hobby in Western Indiana.
I’m racking my brain and for the life of me I can’t come up with any ideas.
I’m 36/m, live with my parents about 45 mins north of Terre Haute in the middle of a cornfield, about 4 miles from a town of 500. And it is so boring.
I know we have Turkey Run and Shades, but it’s too cold for that right now (I may have grown up here, but I am a wimp when it comes to the cold). As far as outdoor sports go, I’ve never been one for hunting because I struggle to sit still, and if the fish aren’t biting in 15 minutes I go home so I don’t have to be stuck in my thoughts.
I’m also broke to the point that I’m probably going to have to file bankruptcy with my tax return.
I like to watch ice hockey, but there are only so many hockey games on TV. I can only play so many video/phone games on my day off, and I can only sit and stare at these four walls for so long before I go insane. As far as working more goes, work doesn’t always have OT shifts available.
Any ideas besides moving (which, though I want to, I can’t afford anything but to stay with my parents)?

2025.01.30 19:10 nationnationnation Employer paying me as if they were withholding tax but w2 shows they weren’t
My employer used a payroll service for the first half of the year and then started to Venmo me my paychecks for the second half. The issue is they would Venmo me my NET paycheck amount as if taxes were withheld. Now my w2 came and is only showing wages for the first half of the year paychecks that came through the payroll service.
My partner is a CPA (non tax) but believes this was intentional from my employer but I should still be paying taxes on all income for the year. Besides asking for a corrected w2 - what should I do? They still have the “tax” money withheld from my Venmo payments. This was about $5k in Venmo payments so not a ton of tax but still believe that my money was “withheld” but not actually sent to the IRS on my behalf. Any advice welcomed!

I came home from the gym and just wanted to eat shower and than sleep. But they for some reason think its supportive to just be passive aggressive the whole time and only let bullshit out. And like if its not enough my 3 f*cking siblings think they have to annoy me in every possible way. Like I could beat the shit out of them but than I'm the problem. I just can't. I hate this family so much, everything is always loud and screaming. 😭

i just really don't know what to do. i was asleep so i don't know exactly what happened, but me and my mom are totally out of ideas. we put his cage outside after trying to coax him down for like an hour, but i don't know if there's anything else that can be done. he's entirely too high up for any ladder to reach, too. i gave up on keeping an eye on him because my eyes started to hurt but now im worried that i'll lose track of him if and when he moves... though he stayed pretty much in the same spot
anyways, any advice would be appreciated, im really down now and dont know what id do without him

I cannot seem to get a straight answer from anyone. I (the subscriber) have a supplemental Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity insurance policy on my 20 year old disabled son. He does not live with us (mostly physically disabled and cannot work meaningfully, mentally developmentally disabled but can live safely with a roommate in a nearby home.) He is on SSDI and Medicaid. He is also still on my wife’s BCBS. He is hospitalized long-term while waiting for a heart transplant. I would like to make a claim on the supplemental insurance to help with the expenses we are occurring while living in a hospital hotel and caring for him. But we are very nervous that it would affect his Medicaid eligibility, and they have agreed to cover anything BCBS doesn’t for the transplant (there’s some more to this story but I don’t think it’s relevant). I have read that supplemental insurance does count as non-taxable income, but since I am the subscriber, the checks come in my name, not his. So it goes to my income, from what I gather. A Medicaid person told me to ask Cigna the “tax implications” and they said that is a convo with my tax adviser. Cigna could give me no answer other than the check does come in my name but they don’t know if that affects Medicaid. I’ve tried to edit some of this to make it more clear, but my phone won’t let me. Anyone have any experience with this or know. We need the money but I’m so scared to hit submit on the claim. Thanks for any direction.
