I'm 52, and I was diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer 18 months ago. No surgery, and no treatment, just the surveillance colonoscopy. Cancerous polyp was removed during colonoscopy. Just this month I got diagnosed with stage 1 NSCLC. They found cancer on a lung nodules I had for about 16 years, which seemed to have grown 2mm over past 16 years. Beside the cancerous lung nodule, I have about 15 lung nodules scattered on my both left and right lungs. I'm concerned other 15 lung nodules could become cancerous down the road after the surgery, and the question lingers if I'm healed or in a remission with my colon cancer. My doctor says he believes lung cancer is a new primary cancer which seems very unusual and non-aggressive, because I had it about 16 years, and to date, I'm still asymptomatic. Externally, you'll never know I have colon cancer and lung cancer. Again I'm 52, and expect to grow old as a single old man with no family and no support. My surgeon recommends lobectomy to remove the entire lobe of my lung where I have the cancerous nodule. I'll be meeting with a radiation oncologist to discuss if radiation treatment would be an option.
My concern and question are, I do the surgery and remove a lobe of my lung, and then what if cancer flares up on another part of my lung or some place else due to colon cancer? I don't want to keep cutting out my lung. My surgeon said we have to keep watching and monitor after the surgery. If I do the radiation treatment, then I still have to watch and monitor. In my situation, I'm not clear if a surgery would be a better option because no matter what I choose, I have to continue watching and monitor except I will have less lung if I do the surgery. Either way, the cancer can flare up elsewhere on my body after the surgery due to multiple lung nodules, and colon cancer that didn't get operated on. I want to try to strike a balance between survival rate and quality of life. At minimum, I have to get the radiation treatment to see if it will obliterate the cancer in my lung, or else surgery. What would you choose in my situation?

TLDR: Anyone know the potential impact of radiation from a mammogram on egg quality?
I was supposed to have my first mammogram today but ended up walking out of the appointment due to my lack of clarity on the risk calculation between the potential impact on my egg quality and my cancer risk.
Kaiser has recently changed their recommendations and no longer provide ovary shielding during the procedure due to new research that shows shielding could in fact trap the radiation in your body and make your exposure worse. The NP said other hospitals still provide shielding so there doesn’t seem to be a consensus on best practices.
I decided to wait (even though I was literally ready with my boobs out) after she explained I would t have shielding and why. She said she could find me some shielding but that wasn’t a clear choice based on the new research.
I think the largest reason we are having a hard time conceiving is due to egg quality and I didn’t want to add to any potential mutations!
But I don’t know the numbers here. Anyone know how much radiation from a mammogram could affect egg quality?!

Salve a tutti sono un utilizzatore di American Express da circa un anno, ho una BLU con cashback all’1% con la quale ho effettuato uno spending annuo di circa 40 K.
Ho letto su questo sub di mirabolanti Cashback/rewards con altre carte, addirittura qualcuno (tipo @Capitalist_Femboy) che con l’Explora riesce a raggiungere un cashback del 12% spendendo su determinati siti. Tuttavia andando a leggere il regolamento proprio dell’Explora non ho trovato conferma, anzi anche effettuando spese ad esempio su Amazon (punti triplicati) si può avere un cash back di 10 € ogni 2800 punti, che pur considerando i punti triplicati corrisponderebbe a poco più dell’1%.
Qualcuno potrebbe spiegarmi qualche meccanismo quindi per incrementare il cash back della Explora?
E più in generale quale American Express dovrei fare secondo voi, anche sfruttando eventuali promozioni? Grazie a chi potrà darmi una mano

I always see comments like e step, or tramming a bed (The only thing I know that it's different from leveling), or other comments that makes me feel like I don't really know what my printer is doing. I assume this is similar to driving a stick shift vs automatic where I don't really know how gears work except to put it in drive or reverse or park.

So it seems the WiiU i bought has a problem with gamepad connection. It interrupts for like half a second with an error message popping up and disappearing again on both gamepad and console. Sometimes i can play for a gew minutes without problems and sometimes it's unplayable due to interruptions every 2-3 seconds.
From what i could find, this seems to be a common issue with a few suggestions on how to fix this. But these are all a few years old (like buying specific spare parts). How can i fix this issue these days? Any cheap ways other than getting another used gamepad and hope for the best?
