hey guys, im a 15 year old teen whos been into sec for a long time now ;> i've been focusing a lot on general sec, as i'm very interested in the field and I for sure know I want to pursue a career here ;) lately I've started focusing on win internals - win32, so overall windows hardening ^^ right now i'm focusing on some loaders (which look promising in bypassing a bunch of AV engines) but I've made this fun little "lab" repo :

so far it does what it's supposed to ^^ however, in the meantime of developing other stuff, I'd like to optimize this program aswell
here are some key thoughts :
IAT/EAT hook detection
Validating module integrity (ntdll.dll)
and that's it :) please contribute with your ideas, i'm quite new to win-internals so i'd appreciate some feedback and maybe even a skilled employed analyst for their perspective? ^^

Had to euthanize my baby who was 11 on Monday. He had a collapsed trachea and has been living with it since a couple of years back. From what the vets had told me he could live with a collapsed trachea with medicine being administered it would help/ help with the cough he had also. This past sunday he wasn't doing so well he wasn't eating and he was coughing more than normal. Our family vet worked on Monday so we waited to take him he was getting worse and practically breathing through his mouth. The vet did an xray and bloodwork and said that he's basically gasping for air and that his trachea was practically non- existent at this point. She had to show me the xray because I didn't want to believe that we had to put him down. He was suffering. I had no idea he was suffering so much because he was eating, going to the bathroom, playing with us. He loved us so much and was always happy 24/7 no matter what. I feel so guilty because it feels like I did something horrible to him by putting him down but at the same time I know he's not suffering anymore. As the days pass I feel worse and worse the fact that I won't see him again is killing me in sadness. I miss him so much. He was so young and strong he wanted to live. The thing that replays in my head is when they sedated him at first how he just laid so quick on the vets table until his little brown eyes closed. It's just the worst feeling ever.

If you use meals on wheels, or know someone who does, be aware that funding is unavailable right now (I’m not going to get into politics, but the funding was frozen by the new administration). Nobody seems to know exactly what is going on, but I was told I should try to come up with an alternate to my meals on wheels for the next week or two, but hopefully it will be resolved early next week. I don’t know if other services are being impacted or not.

2025.01.30 23:21 No-Situation9408 Father just disowned me after my first blowout in years
Father didn't know I have bipolar II, constantly talked poorly about my mom and brother who have bipolar I. Gratuated college at the end of December. I've covered up my mental illness successfully for the last 3 years aside crying once at a family gathering over the possibility of AI taking the job I was going to college for.
I started having a meltdown yesterday after a month long depressive swing following my graduation and losing my job shortly after. The meltdown was triggered by the whole medicaid portals being shut down thing. I explained how much my medications for, get this, my psoriatic arthritis, costs and explained the discomfort it causes in detail. It costs upwards of $800, with GoodRX. Get a call a few hours later, I get off maybe 3 scentences and express that everyone seems to just be figuring out how bad it is. They're trying to get me to go talk to a potential employer in person which I refuse to do in my mental state. Tells me to stop with the self pity bullshit and hangs up when I ask if he is being fucking serious. The call wasn't even 3 minutes long.
I just setup this mans new PC and played board games with him the other day. It took one outbreak after doing everything he has wanted for me and now I'm no longer his son. Mom's side is reaching out, friends are supportive, but fuck man.
This same guy just retired early a year ago after getting yelled at by his manager for not following directions, took 2 months to find work and only found work through his wife. All while dragging his feet and pouting. His story about why he left getting more and more derganged. Currently, he is taking a $300 shot to keep himself from eating because he has the self control of a pigeon.
He has been obsessed with seeing himself as skinnier than me, and for the first time in his life, weighs the same as me.
Aside from his new family I've never met a person that didn't end on calling him a narcissist. I wish I'd listened to those mental health youtube videos and cut him out of my life years ago.
I'd have to write a book describing my childhood to paint a clear image of how deranged this man can be. Even if he reaches out, I'm fucking done. If he wants to be the only person with emotions in the family, he can enjoy those emotions alone.

 | Excuse the mess. Just bought it and need to clean it. I have a few questions. 1) there's a "propellor" feeling low end 2nd 3rd and possibly 4th gear. The car pulls fine feels like the drive shaft is vibrating. Very subtle. 2) what do you think about the rear. Is it lowered/shocks done or that's just the spacers? 3) engine bay - he did a few basic mods. Is the air filter ok like this? I can get the 3 stage manifold just need to learn how to flash the ECU. Feel free to comment. 4) iDrive is ok. I'm just gonna mod it to have a dark screen saver... If I can Otherwise I like the car. Lots of fun drifting on the snow.  | Was walking thru a park today and saw a guy that looked like he might be homeless standing by a little fire he was making to stay warm. I felt kinda bad cause of how cold it really is out here so I walked over to give him whatever change I had. I could see him tossing papers and stuff in trying to get the fire to stay lit long enough to catch some sticks and branches on fire and as I got closer and saw what he was using to start his fire I almost scissor kicked him like I was M. Bison. He was using an entire box full of unopened and previously mint condition COMPLETE set of 1987 Topps baseball cards! Smh! I walked up literally right as he ripped open and threw in the last few packs. I didn't even try talking to him. I was just like "Yo WTF!? Are you serious!" And I stomped the flames and grabbed what cards were left and not completely destroyed. He freaked about putting the fire out and thought I did that cause it's illegal having a fire in the park. I was like IDGAF about that and explained about the cards. He said he found them in an abandoned house and thought he could get like $20 for them but decided it was more worth it to him using them to start a fire. Anyways it was obvious to me this guy was never good at making decisions so I didn't even bother going too in depth with him about the cards. I scooped up what was left put them in a plastic bag and now I'm trying to clean off the dirt and ash and see if any are worth saving.
