2025.01.31 02:51 stickyrag- I have a 2007 v6 4.0 ford mustang with 159,000 miles and it needs a transmission rebuild, should I get it rebuild or buy another car? Need it for long roadtrips coming up.
I need a car since I’m doing a important road trip 500 miles away and 500 back home and I’ll also be driving another 500 miles again in order to relocate for a job so in total 1500 miles within 3 months and I don’t want my car leaving me stranded. What should i do? Should I rebuild the transmission for $3k or spend $7-8k for another car now?
I’m just hoping to spend $3k now for the transmission and save the rest of my money to move out of the state and when I’m settled into my job I can buy another car next year without the hassle of doing it now.
My car has been reliable so far and I’ve had no issues doing previous road trips of 1000 total miles. It’s been maintained great and I’ve only change: spark plug,oil,brakes,thermostat housing and I just did the suspension. I’m just worried about the timing chain becoming an issue soon since the engine needs to be pulled out in order to replace it.
Do y’all believe my car to last me for another few years? Or At least till next year?

i am 17 years old going on 18 in a couple months no real boyfriend so i know im not pretty. i struggle everyday to get out of bed to go to school where it feels like im being humiliated for my looks. i have no friends in school i haven’t found a person who wants to date me just guys that asked for my number and a short amount of talking time in stages . just having people play with you and i dont know why i haven’t been in a long relationship or why anyone wants me because nobody ever stays so i must be ugly and just talked to when bored. i feel so ugly everyday getting out of bed going to school with no confidence. i have nobody who cares about me or to talk to at all. im probably gonna die this way with no friends or relationship. i pray to make friends and i never do . i just want to switch to online school but dont know how to say anything. i pray and pray for people to talk to me. i just hope anyone else doesn’t feel the way i do. not cared about, alone , insecure and ugly. i just want to leave this place or at least leave everyone to show how much they don’t care and hurt me. all i do is want to have friends and to feel loved and pretty. that’s all i ask for and never receive that i honestly don’t see myself living much longer. im gonna die alone with nobody to care about me im just sick of going to somewhere where i feel like this.

2025.01.31 02:51 Jayro- Wiring 3 way and 2 way crossover to amplifier
Recently been doing a full upgrade on my stock audio system, and have added in a aftermarket HU, Sub/Amp, and have purchased a 3 way component set and a 2 way to replace all four door speakers, corner dash, and add a new 1" tweeter pair for highs, as well as a 5 channel amp to swap the sub amp for and connect the new ones. Rear 2 way speaker set came with a passive crossover box each yielding 1 input connection, for 2 channels total, however the front 3 way set has inline crossovers, with 1 input connection each, how would I go about connecting these to the 4channels I have available, Considering I have 8 wires I need inputs to? I also have a lower powered amp for 4ch, but I'd prefer not to use another amp as I'm already toeing the power max I'm comfortable with without a high power alt.
