 | Whirlpool WRF 535SWHZ07. Compressor went out in only two years. Whirlpool covered the repair except for the troubleshooting fee the service company charged. Two days after install the unit cools fine but the evaporator fan makes a growling noise that changes in intensity during the day. Had our service plan come out and look and it. There is ice on top of the coil so the service plan guy said it is a sealed system issue again. They don’t cover. I am not sure what to do at this point. Some important context; I had thyroid cancer about 3 years ago now, 6mo post partum with my first baby. It was a scary time and I carry a lot of Health anxiety now as recurrence rates are high after the procedure I had (hemithyroidectomy). I also have an aunt who had breast cancer in 2016 and recently received a very poor prognosis for uterine cancer as well as breast cancer recurrence. My parents also tried to organise a party for my Dad on the day of my 30th birthday even though his actual birthday was 2 months prior.
3 days before my 30th birthday on Saturday, the proposed birthday party for my Dad hasn't been discussed but was also not planned. I'm at home in my remote city 4000km from my home city and a big, exciting weekend planned. I get a call from my mum and she asks me to leave my kids with my husband, so I walk to my office. I sit down and she says to me VERBATIM (this is important) "I have received a stage 2 breast cancer diagnosis". She then starts detailing how she's having a biopsy on Friday to confirm whether the cancer is estrogen vs non estrogen and will get a plan on Wednesday. She is telling everyone that they're telling her surgery, chemo and radiation. Crying on the phone about not being able to see her grandkids.I am of course upset. The afternoon is spent speaking to my crying siblings and discussing what was going to happen. Considering taking more time off work to travel down and care for her during treatment if needed. Mum has her biopsy on Friday and drops another bomb, they've found another tumour. She decides to tell my entire family of her diagnosis. My weekend is spent fielding birthday calls from devastated relatives, especially as this has come following a devastating prognosis for my Aunt. My mum is on the phone saying to me how she is going to request a radical, complete mastectomy as she couldn't imagine living with remaining tissue wondering if the cancer had returned. I may remind you here, I had cancer 2 years ago and have remaining tissue. I waited 11 weeks between ultrasound and biopsy results to confirm I did in fact have cancer.
I enjoy my birthday weekend to the best of my ability with my beautiful family and chosen family under this cloud of devastated energy around me. Wednesday rolls around and it's results time. We wait all day and my mum calls in the arvo.
It's not cancer. They are cysts. She will have a day procedure to remove it next week. Suddenly it dawns on me. She did not get a breast cancer diagnosis, she saw her GP who told her the ultrasound report suggested features of cancer, the grading system suggested stage 2 due to size and organised a biopsy to confirm. There was no definitive evidence at that stage and as a clinical nurse specialist and cancer survivor I can almost guarantee no GP would diagnose at that stage. So she told our entire family 3 days before my 30th she had breast cancer. She couldn't wait 7 days for confirmation and spare my birthday weekend.
I hurt so deeply for my aunt who is facing only having 6-12 months. Was she on the phone saying to her what she was saying to me? And if she was, that is frankly morally reprehensible.
I feel I'm going crazy, my sister thinks she wasn't being disingenuous but I even if she was just afraid there is a huge difference between "they've found a lump that doesn't look good, it could be cancer and I'm scared" and telling our entire family I HAVE a diagnosis. We all were hurt and scared all weekend to find out she simply couldn't wait for proper diagnosis and decided she must tell everyone. Of course I cannot confront her as then I would be the awful bitch of a daughter who made her cancer scare about herself.

2025.01.30 23:21 No_Stuff1313 Dx type 2, but positive HLA?
Can that happen? I have been monitoring for any signs of cataplexy and haven't seen any. My diagnosis is type 2 because of that. But I just had HLA testing which came back positive for DQA1*01:02 and DQB1*06:02 (however in the results tab, it says "Final Results: DQB1*03:EWFDN,06:EWFDP and DQA1*01:EWFDA,03:EWCPZ). Does this result mean my type 2 diagnosis is wrong? Am I going to develop cataplexy?

Hello!! My acer nitro gaming laptop shows it has power indicated from the little LED light on the side when it’s “turned on”. Me and my partner looked up a lot of stuff on what/why the powedisplay isn’t working.
We tried to put a new battery in, wasn’t the problem. Tried to switch the ram around and it turned on for like a few minutes then the screen froze while my partner was trying to use it to research something, so we turned it off and now it won’t turn on again 🧍🏻The keyboard sometimes turns on when the display just doesn’t show up :( The charger is okay and the wall outlet we have it plugged into isn’t faulty as we tried different outlets in the house.
Any help would be appreciated :( If i need to give any details i’ll try to give the details best i can! Sorry if my words are scrambled bleh

i used the compound angles rule. a = 2x, b = 32. Did inverse tan to find 2x + 32. Minus 32 both sides to find 2x. Divide by 2 to find x.
problem is, the question insists there's 2 solutions. but +-180 from my calc solution takes it outside the range. this means i've done something wrong but idk what it is. idk what else i could do either.
any help would be appreciated. this is A level maths, edexcel, not sure if year 1 or 2. Thanks.

2025.01.30 23:21 Respiroh Fen Light + RD 9 minute delay between selecting source and media start
Chromecast with Google TV (4K) Kodi Omega 21.X (whatever it's up to now).
Title is what I am experiencing, only other additional info is that the RD account is shared between two locations, but this wasn't a problem earlier, setup was working seamlessly for 6+ months until all of the RD changes and Tiki's untimely departure. 1 location works perfectly, the second location consistently has issues regardless of whether Kodi is in use or not, and the only difference between the setup is that one of the ccwgtv is 1080p instead of 4k, and that one works fine...
I promise I tried to do my due diligence and search before posting here;
- fresh install from Umbrella Repo
- attempted to change the DNS (and also ipv6) settings on router, but they're locked by ISP.
- advancedsettings.xml to turn off ipv6 and http2 (and confirmed that it did work in the settings only getting ipv4 addresses).
I am going to try making another RD account with my points, but I would definitely prefer not to be paying two subscriptions if I can avoid it. Reading through other posts about two locations with one account don't mention this as a symptom, and I haven't received any email from them as a warning or anything.
I was hoping to find out what else I can try before we determine that I need to purchase new hardware or another account for a Debrid Service.
I am very new to debugging Kodi as it worked seamlessly without my interference for so long, so anything else that I can provide, I’ll happily send through.

So I've only ever worked for 1 company for graphic design and I have no idea if what they do is standard for every company. I would like to get a better idea of the expectations. My skill level is around junior level if not a bit lower. At work, I don't really work on any projects. Just campaigns where I have to make a bunch of informational social media posts and flyers. At the moment, I'm the only graphic designer on board with the title Marketing Assistant but I believe this title is just due to me absorbing the tasks of the other designers that left. I started out as an intern but I now do social media graphics, flyers, motion graphics, emails, copywriting, banners and a few other non design related things like reporting, creating forms, handling workshops etc.
So the main things I want to ask is: 1. What are the time expectations for your tasks (motion graphics, social media graphics, flyers etc)? Do you get punished if you take too long?
- How many things would be expected to work on in a day?
- If you make posts for social media, how many are posted during the week?
- For interns, do you ever get training or design guidance or do you start off as if your another designer?
- For remote workers, are you given a laptop? Of not, what does your work do if you had to take time fixing a computer issue?
- For Canadian junior or interns, what is your pay? What did your first raise look like?
