I was laid off Oct 31, 2024. COBRA runs 18 months from that date to April 2026 according to my HR. They subsidized my Cobra for 3 months (running out Feb 1). My understanding is that I missed the 60 day window to move to marketplace insurance (bc I was just sitting on the subsidized free plan), but I am told that I can still get in with special enrollment. Can someone confirm if that's true? I'm not sure if I trust my broker. Debating whether to do it. Also, if I missed the 60 day window already, is there any rush at this point to make a decision?
I am on the fence because on the one hand the Cobra plan is a stellar BCBS PPO plan covering my wife and I for $1500. On the other hand, I am unstable right now in consulting and if work slows (or stops), I would owe less for a marketplace plan. Trying to find a job and debating whether to kick the can down the road to March for special enrollment (maybe I find that corporate job next month). Never had to make a decision like this before and I have no idea what to do.

A crime punishable by death.
Well, let's say a nobleman murdered his wife, and it got out that he did do. What would happen to him? Would the king (or his liege lord depending on whether or not he's a vassal) punish him for such a deed? Would the family of the wife seek retribution How would this be handled?

last couple of months have been hell here is the run down.
-gained a gf
-had a baby scare
-lost a grandad
-got tonsilitis
-lost a job due to illness (but that job also gave me trauma)
-gf lost her nan
-got a new job but its one i dont like and is physically exhausting for me
-gf went into hospital for hip fracture surgery
-my old job suddenly put me with a £1000 bill
-i found my gf having a stroke when she was meant to be recovered and had to get the doctors to help even though she was already in in hospital
-gf couldt talk propperly or move her right side
-had my birthday alone (34 yesterday)
-gf broke up with me today cos her thoughts are changing due to the stroke
im waiting to be tested for ADHD and Autisim Prone to bouts of depression
very low self esteem already
feel so lost and alone and nothing is going right for me and i cant see a way forward or any hope and the end of anything!
I'm like dont know what to do! all any one can do is talk to me about it but i dont want to talk but i dont know what can be done!!!!!!! even though i got so many friends i feel just so alone and lonley.
