Just wanted to say I love that album. A lot of it is “simple” by Ty’s standards, but I’ve always loved the quiet, sometimes spooky feel of the whole thing. I’ve heard some of it is about his father (maybe stepfather?) who passed. It doesn’t seem to get mentioned as much as some of his others. What do yall think of it?

2025.01.31 00:14 War_Hammer55 Expedited Service Timeline and Email Updates
Here is my timeline from application submission at the Post Office to Passport delivery. Expedited service and 1-2 day shipping.
1/14: application submitted as USPS
1/17: email received application in process
1/24: email received application approved, expected delivery 1/29 or about then.
1/28: email received that supporting documents have been mailed. Never received an email with USPS tracking for Passport. I also have Informed Delivery with USPS.
1/29: no passport
1/30: only one letter in Informed Delivery, not passport related. Place a call with Passport Information to check status of Passport mailing since I never received an email that it was sent. They provided tracking information and passport was delivered this afternoon.
I am not sure if not getting that email with tracking info is common, but I wanted to share in case anyone else has this scenario unfold for them.

Context: I'm 3 years into an online Bachelors of Science in Nursing program, and am trying to reenter the healthcare field as I get close to finishing my degree. My work experience is really all over the place, but drawing on my EMT, nursing school clinicals, childcare, and volunteer experience in my cover letters. My EMT cert is lapsed, but am planning on taking a refresher held in late February if nothing pans out before that.
I have been mostly applying to hospital & clinic "technician" positions, as EMT/CNA/CMA certifications are usually listed as preferred and not required for these roles, but I'm openly applying to any entry-level healthcare positions at the moment.
I live in Portland, OR, and have been exclusively looking at positions within a 10-mile radius. I'm not looking to relocate.
It's been a couple of weeks since I started looking and haven't gotten any callbacks yet, but I've only really been putting out 1-2 applications a day. I've tried to do a lot of fine-tuning on my resume through the process but not sure if there's anything I should change/strengthen/omit, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! The copy attached is catered for some hospice roles.

I’ve been struggling with guilt for how I acted in our relationship. I was too focused on short-term relief rather than building a healthy fundament between us, and I said some really hurtful things that undermined the safety and trust we had built. I wasn’t curious and I acted defensive when I felt confused about your needs.
Losing the most precious part of my life has really changed my priorities. I’ve been working hard on healing my anxious attachment and impulsivity. I’ve doubled my therapy, started meditating, taking anxiety meds and read books on attachment and managing relationships with adhd. That said, I’ve also been realizing that my strengths are tied to my flaws, just like yours are.
I’m so sorry that I hurt you. While I can’t promise to be perfect or that I’d never make mistakes again, I can promise that I will always take responsibility and learn and grow. I hope you can see the genuine affection and care I have for you. I think the two of us could still build something really special together, if you choose to.
If I could go to the beginning I would be another way.
