So my now ex (21f) broke up with me (23m) a week ago. It’s was on good terms for the most part. We had taken a short 2 day “break” a week or two before that.
Her reasoning for the break up was she didn’t see us working out In The long run because we had arguments a few times about the same topics with no change, which reminded of her parents before they split up when she was young. Also because she felt like she wasn’t getting enough reassurance. Which surprised me because I would tell her I love her every day and I constantly called her beautiful.
Anyways, the night after the breakup she went out to a bar with her friends and stayed the night at her friends. The next morning I got a text at 5 a.m. when she got home from her friends lakehouse. In the text she was apologizing and explained that she went out to try and get her mind off of it but it didn’t help her. She said she has past trauma she needs to work out and can’t run away from. I accepted her apology and apologized as well.
That conversation ended with her saying she’ll always love and care for me. I said I loved her too.
The next Monday I called her, told her I’d wait for her and that she could always call me if she needed me. It was a very emotional phone call and we ended it with I love you again.
I want to bring her flowers and a short love note on Valentine’s Day if I can hold off for that long. I guess I just need some advice. I miss her like crazy, I feel like we’re destined to be together.
I’m not doing okay, I constantly check her location and Snapchat and stuff. I just need some advice. I really love her.

Hi,
I have the following three models from Tortuga Bay, still boxed and unassembled:
- Assembly (I'll provide guidance on weapons / poses)
- "Display standard" painting (maybe 3 or 4-star quality) on both models and bases - I'll provide some examples as input, but appreciate your creative flair!
- Some sort of finishing to protect the paint
I’m hoping to find an artist that I can work with on some larger projects (likely a full Ultramarines army down the line).

 | I lost my Tamar Mepe Achievement run, because I used the "Seize All De Jure Territory" Casus Belli and it would not register occupied war goal territory. This happened twice in the same run and no matter how much territory I captured, war score would not increase. All other Casus Belli worked, but just not De Jure wars. Anyone else encountered this? Am I doing something wrong? 2025.01.31 00:08 jonylew How to Pray for things (strength, discipline, etc)
Hello everyone. One thing I have been struggling with as of late is asking god for (help for) things in everyday life. For example I was playing squash the other day and I wasn’t playing well. I was resorting back to my natural instincts instead of being disciplined and playing in the way which I had been taught. I would pray “Lord please grant me the discipline to remember and carry out what I have been taught”, something along those lines. I am aware that god is not a cosmic butler and will give you whatever you ask for, so I have a hard time either phrasing things or even asking for things in general.
Are there any good Church fathers that I should listen to for this? Or any good YouTube videos? I have been listening to some videos from Father Spyridon. I know that he is Orthodox, but the theme he was speaking on and the context of what he said did not involve the schismatic differences between East and West.

Is loving your neighbor telling them that they're the wrong gender and shoving them puberty blockers and chemical manipulation? Is loving your neighbor telling them that lust after the same gender is a trait that they were born with and not a sinful temptation that we should help them with?
Essentially, the bishop is saying "lie to your neighbor about the transgender and gay ideologies so that you can be outwardly appearing as loving even though on the inside, as Christians, we know that that stuff is wrong."

I don’t post much here, just enjoy all yalls food post. But thought this was a good evening time to vent about the fitness industry and mindset. I’ve reached a point in fitness communities where I don’t even talk about food or nutrition. The amount of people convinced you need carbs to survive is alarming. The moment you mention carnivore or even animal based or that you don’t eat carbs the lecture comes out. I frequent the bodybuilding community and it’s the worst. I have to pull back because people will straight argue with me that you need carbs for a “balanced diet”, whatever that means these days. Reddit is usually a toxic cesspool but not this sub so grateful I found it. Do any of you engage with friends or communities and try to educate or do you avoid those conversations too and just focus on your self/spouse? Curious how other carnivores approach the topic of diet these days
