I work in the emergency department of a big government hospital in Delhi, and a recent incident illuminated distressing reality: the exploitation of legal protections intended to shield the vulnerable.
A patient required an urgent CT scan and there is an inevitable queue typical of Indian public healthcare systems. A woman accompanying him claiming as an advocate , apparently drunk, started a ruckus —demanded to skip the queue and it escalated from verbal abuse of health care workers including sanitation staff to physically assaulting a female security guard.
More security and police intervened, she was taken to the hospital chowki where initial defiance gave way to apologies once the seriousness of her actions became clear.
The incidence reveals a deeper inequity. The security guard, a woman reliant on her little income, now faces an impossible choice: pursue justice through a protracted legal process or prioritize her livelihood and she chose the practical option. Institutional FIRs, while theoretically available, often falter in practice, remaining as just a mirage of hope.
Now comes the beautiful part. While there were discussions going on whether to press charges or not, she pulls the final boss move, where she, out of nowhere claims that the male sanitation touched her inappropriately. A claim however baseless, carried immediate weight. Platinum victim card was swiped successfully. No one can deny the card. Instant approval and in 10 minutes she walks free .
No charges filed , no consequences for actions and she is ready to play her game again with an added confidence boost.
My blood boils, fists clenched but mouth shut, swallowing my saliva and anger because I am a coward. Because I represent the average Indian. Laws crafted to shield vulnerable women are weponized by the privileged to evade accountability. Voices of Sexual harassment allegations- true or not , is a nuclear button. And you can get away with anything and a simple claim is enough to ruin the life of any male in the country, whoever you are.
Women empowerment at it's finest. This isn't justice this is a circus and men are the clowns.

So I find myself quite drawn to the long term, slice of life romances these days and would love to find someone to really build a long term thing with in that regard.
A little bit about me and my way of writing. I’m a 26 year old woman who really enjoy using rp as a way to unwind. I have been roleplaying on an off for about 10 years and have found that third person writing and somewhere between 2-4 paragraph replies suit me best. I love adding different characters and really getting some tension and drama going along with the standard love story. As I’m an adult I find writing love stories that contain adult elements to feel the most natural to me, although I’m not at all interested in that sort of thing to be the sole focus of the story in any way! I want to build a story with intrigue, banter, fluff and angst leaving me checking my phone for replies daily!
A few plots I’d love to hash out are the following:
- Best friends going on vacation with their shared friend group, discovering feelings have been simmering below the surface for the both of them.
- College roommates/friends. Would be fun to work out how their friendship could slowly develop into a romance through helping each other through school, boy/girl problems, maybe some family issues etc
- Two exes reunited at a common friend’s wedding. This can honestly be built up in a lot of different ways. Maybe their friends miss them being together? Maybe they never really got over each other? Maybe they’ve both grown and changed since last seeing each other and finally can turn over the “right person, wrong time” storyline?
- Two strangers unknowingly being set up by their common friends at a dinner party? Would love to sort of write out a relationship all the way from the very beginning sometime and feel like this could be the perfect set up for such a story.
- Two co-workers going on a business trip together when one of them reveals they’re quitting after that trip, leaving all sorts of feelings to be wafted up into the air.

Just finished EP 5 of Ave Mujica and felt like there're a lot to dig deep into, so I'm sharing some minuteness I found during the watchthrough:
- Uika's finding out Saki left

After the major setback from Mortis in EP 4 Saki has truly become helpless and in a sense lost/maigo, which is ofc captured by Uiks. In this scene she was about to knock the door before entering the apartment (as she would usually do) (this is also a sign showing she really cares about personal/private space of Saki), but after a short hesitation she directly entered without notice: unlike the usual passive move she's taking, here she tried to be more proactive and hope her pudding strat will bring Saki back. But it was too late. tbh when I saw the words from Saki for a moment I thought it was her last words. No wonder Uika would be that panic seeing the note.

There's a lot to say about this scene. First, we can see the TV was in Saki's father's bedroom. Would it be so, then, that Saki's father somehow suddenly decided to figure out what ex-Mujica members were doing after disbandment. Given what a jerk Saki's father was, my feeling here is it's highly unlikely: maybe it's just he turned on the TV during daytime and left it on the whole day while being drunk, and as the time for nighttime show arrives the show just went on air. Second, about the TV show itself, we see the host asking Nyamu about her unique background, and Nyamu responded with the Mujica doll backstory, which seemed to surprise the host (a more accurate translation of the line "do you want to start from there" would actually be "do you REALLY want to start from there"), implying there's been quite a bit of time since the disbandment of Mujica, and the host wasn't ready for such a long story about to come. Nonetheless, the host went on asking what Nyamu was doing before Mujica, which a) was trying to satisfy Nyamu's wish to begin with a story long long ago, and b) seemed to be (un)consciously avoiding mentioning details of Mujica: after all, maybe the disbandment is still kinda cringe to bring about even after this long, and maybe there is just not much to talk about, as the disbandment was so sudden and without a reason.
- A very interesting pair of shots revealing Saki's feelings

There's a scene where Saki crumpled the notes from Tomori and left it by the water sink in the kitchen. At first thought this was a somewhat weird shot to me, but after I saw the second scene it all made sense. We see Saki leaving her tea cup at the some position after finishing the tea, and this implies Saki might be used to put everyday items/utensils at that very position, just so that she can conveniently pick up these things at hand whenever she wants to. So if crumpling the note shows her effort to isolate her inner world from outside attempts of Tomorin to have a heartfelt communication, putting the note within her reach means somewhere in her heart, she's still hoping for someone to pull her out of all these shits, and that Tomorin's notes did go through the fake defensive shell Saki wraps herself into and rooted in Saki's bottom of heart.
- Saki touching her piano after going back to Togawa's mansion
This was again something I did not expected. When Saki was about to touch the piano I was expecting it to be full of dust, and I was expecting Saki to be prepared to see a piano full of dust, but it was not! On the exact contrary it was so clean you can see Saki's hand reflecting on the surface of piano as she touches it. This very likely means Saki's grandfather was still asking servants to take care of all Saki's belonging's, including the piano. Combined with her grandfather's words in car that he had paid off the compensation for ending the tour prematurely, we can see he is indeed showing his care to Saki in his own way.
- Evidence that Mutsumi was never given care at home
From the teaser we get to see what Mutsumi's room is like. Shattered around are toys and dolls and books with mostly pictures and few words, indicating Mortis might be mentally still a kid. We also see the curtain was all torn apart, that the plants, desk, and lamp are all on the ground. Which naturally leads to the question: how in the world did her servants and parents not discover her problem? Did they not even hear the noises made when the furnitures were smashed? Well maybe they're just so reckless they aren't even willing to pay a single bit of attention to Mutsumi's mental health.
