I often even see this on websites or reddit posts, along the lines of "once you get X of (a single weapon type) you're going to obliterate things".
Just curious. I suppose my guess is because you can more easily make use of them compared to having to cycle through things (as in, if you have 8 powerful lasers, you can just ZERRRRRP a limb off n enemy rather than the damage being spread out between some missiles, laser, ballistics, etc

Hello, I bought a laptop, I updated drivers and installed the game but every time I enter, no matter what resolution I use, two horrible black bars appear at the top and bottom of the screen. I have tried everything and I have been messing around with the FFXIV.cfg trying to force the resolution, the nvidia control panel, the display settings in windows and I can't find the problem. I have tried changing from full screen to windowed or borderless and it doesn't solve anything, I always see two horrible black bars at the top and bottom of the game. It doesn't happen on the desktop, it's only with FFXIV. I hope you can help me because the truth is that I don't know what else to do and it's frustrating. I don't understand why this happens when the game should accept the laptop's aspect ratio without any problem.

Any way to use the GUI app while it's syncing and still see current transactions? In other words, can I open GUI and somehow sync to other nodes while continuing to download the block chain locally in terminal?
