So, I guess there’s 2 purposes to this post. One of them is to share a couple of my experiences and to bring up something in particular that I’ve always wondered about. Before I continue, I feel like it’s important to state that I have Asperger’s. For those who know what that is, what I’ve experienced might make more sense to you.
To put it mildly, I’ve had some bad experiences in the work place where I could’ve had a much better work experience if not for people willingly adding extra stress to my work experience and/or blatantly disregarding my mental health. There are 2 stories I wanted to talk about where something a manager said(in one case)or did(saying that I can’t do something)that is unfathomable.
The first of these two happened when I was a senior in HS. I worked at a gas station that also had a kitchen and I basically did both while I was there. One day the manager said some really ugly things to me, among them was that “I am not paying you to sit in here and cry”. So, instead of having more of a heart and recognize that something’s got me really sad she cares more that I cost the company $4, and it’s not even her company. She just manages one store, making that comment even worse.
The other one was much more recent. For a few months I cleaned an apartment building/business place. I would sit in a chair in the lobby for a few minutes at a time to take a breather, only to learn that the building manager was seeing me through surveillance and took exception to it. Because of that and a couple other things that happened around that time, I quit the job right after.
So, the particular thing that bothers me about those 2 stories: why do managers care so so sooooo much about $ that they won’t allow for basic human needs? They’re still paying me either way so why is that such a big deal when the job IS still getting done?

Newcomers are frequently baffled by the humility old-timers display about the length of their sobriety. Why aren't we more proud? Why do we sometimes have to be pushed to acknowledge our sober anniversaries? It's because we're not through making mistakes or enduring the occasional craving. We don't just say we're not saints, we know it.
I have something to learn from every alcoholic in the room. Earlier this week, a newcomer attended a small meeting where I'm serving as secretary. From her share it was clear that she was new to AA, this was her second meeting. At the close the six of us joined hands and I asked if she'd like to lead the prayer, forgetting that she would not know that our standard practice was to pray in unison. She wouldn't know the Serenity Prayer. That was a mistake, all mine, and could have led to her being embarrassed or feeling put on the spot. Instead, she did something wonderful.
After looking slightly shocked at being asked, she then launched into a beautiful ad hoc prayer asking God to help us in the room and alcoholics everywhere. We'd been reading the storing of Anonymous Number Three in the big book, and many of the shares in the meeting had been about hospitalization and medical concerns. One of us had a 90-year-old father who was facing surgery, another had a cousin in treatment. Our newcomer mentioned some of these specifically, asking for help and comfort in Jesus' name. It was very unexpected and it could have felt invasive but it did not. Her faith and sincerity were apparent and I found myself transfixed, letting her voice and words connect me to my own Higher Power, echoing her request that those in need receive love and healing. That morning I worked the eleventh step more thoroughly than I have in some time.

When I transfer from my PC to my Zimaboard (both on 2.5GBe, both using a USB 3.0 adapter) it takes longer than transferring from PC to my Synology (which is on 1GBe, but I'm using 4 ports with SMB3 enabled). Don't have example numbers right now.
I'm thinking of getting the official PCIe card that has 2.5GBe for it, but should I get the 1 or 2 port one?
And if the 2 port one, is there a setting than can enable SMB3 or something similar to make use of both ports?

 | In the past few months or so (honestly i have no clue when I planted them) I tried growing herbs in small indoor pots and used my aerogarden for cherry tomatoes. Due to the fact that the cherry tomatoes have outgrown the garden I was rather going to trim them back or transplant them to large pots outside. As I was looking at the plant I noticed something. Baby Tomatoes!!!!! I have no clue how or when this occurred since I certainly did not pollinate them. So now I do not know what to do.
