MAYBE this is the wrong sub but maybe someone here can help. I'm wanting to make marbles / beads out of stone, does anyone know how I can do this without a massive machine and at home ? I've thought about this for a while and I know it may be possible but the only post ever I can find is a guy on Reddit maybe 3 years ago? Using a home made contraption that looks intimidating... Any help is appreciated :) if I figure this out I may post some here for you guys. I know marbles are typically made of glass but I've come across some absolutely beautiful stones I KNOW would make some gorgeous marbles !
( When I say stone I mean rocks you find at the beach. The ones I've seen are usually quartzy with streaks of yellow, pink, black, and red. I've even found rocks that are entirely red and entirely green. The prettiest ones I come across look like the coat of a Calico cat, red, black and white )

2025.01.31 01:30 rapkingdom If you think you might have TT, read this
If your ball is in a weird position (e.g. horizontal like mine was), you may have testicular torsion if:
- You feel nauseas
- You feel a lot of pain
You may only have a few hours (4-10 depending on how twisted it is) to save your balls
There’s no shame in it boys. If you’re on the fence, just go.
Even if it’s twisting and untwisting, go anyway. The doctors will stitch your balls in a way so that they stay in a fixed position (pretty much eliminating your chances of ever getting testicular torsion again).
It’s worth it to save a ball boys. Don’t be shy or ashamed to show your balls off to the doctor - they’ve seen 1,000 weirder and worse things than your balls.
Better safe than sorry!

I had to re submit this to say, yes the managers at my sort center they physically make the schedule so no I am not “lying” Hey everyone, I’m a 23-year-old female who works at a SC. I’ve been having issues with one of the operations managers, and I’m at a loss for how to handle the situation. I’ve been working at Amazon for about a year now, and I’m a dedicated and hardworking employee. I do my job without much interaction with others and head home after work. However, there’s this OM who I’m absolutely certain has been trying to get my attention. He never approached me for about six months, but then he started talking to me around November. All the other women at my job think he’s attractive and are always around him, laughing and chatting with him. They’ll even stand there with him for 10-30 minutes while everyone else is working. Every time he gives me strange looks and laughs, I’ve never socialized with him. I’ve only had brief conversations with him, lasting no more than five months. A few months ago, he asked me where I preferred to work at. After I told him, he said he would start assigning me to those locations. And he did, every time I went to my preferred station. One day, he said something to me, but I barely heard him and just walked away. I think he thought I ignored him. I don’t really make an effort to greet him; I just walk away and focus on my work. I’m here to work and not interact with people. Ever since he started assigning me to the worst station at the job, which is almost exclusively male, I’ve been exhausted every day. I don’t know what to do. Yesterday, I asked another manager to switch me, and the OM saw me working at another station and stood there, laughing. That’s when I realized he was being petty and angry that I wasn’t giving him the same attention as the other women. I don’t even think he’s attractive; he’s just plain creepy. I just want to go back to how my job was before this started. I’m really tired.

As a kid I would watch the stained glass windows at Mass.
At Midnight Mass, I would observe how dull and simple they looked from within, lit by a big chandelier. Looking around, you’d never guess it was midnight, were it not for those windows. You could just make out a dark sky outside and although you couldn’t see the stars you knew they were there.
There is something intimate about such a late Mass.
But I always much preffered the morning ones or better yet, noon ones. The sunlight hits the glass, and the glass sings. The choir sings with it proudly boldly
I sing with it, I want to be a part of this chorus, I want to feel the breath escaping my throat. I do not hear my voice, it is somewhere among the others. It doesn’t matter that I don’t hear it. I like that it disappears and blends with the crowd.
I don’t attend Mass anymore. For the most part, I don’t miss it.
but it certainly felt wonderful to be there singing with the masses while the bright colored light from the window shined on me from above

3rd floor large finished attic area. Looking for ideas on how to break up into smaller areas, and then ideas what to do with those areas. As you can see you can think of the space as shaped like a cross almost.
I’d like to ideally have a little reading or day bed area and another area for tv chilling. But struggling with how to not make it look awkward.

I have an almost 1 year old Border collie/Blue healer mix and I’m having some issues. My dog has always almost had trouble with peeing inside like if he gets too happy or if he just can’t hold it, but he got way better in the past few months and only peeing if he really can’t hold like if I overslept and couldn’t take him out which most of the time even then he would hold it. Recently though the past week he is not doing good at all. I would get up for work and take him outside he would be out there for at least 10 minutes and then I would bring him inside and put him in his kennel and leave for work. Well about 2-3 hours later my fiancée would take him but he most of the time this past week he would have already peed in his kennel or out of it. So honestly we kind of just gave up we’ve had plenty of issues with him peeing relentlessly since he was a puppy we even had to give him diapers so I told her move him outside the weather is nice right now and even if it gets cold he loves the cold. But Ive gotten home for the past two nights and gone out with my other dog and let him out and he pees multiple times and looks humiliated like he doesn’t even want to like he peed 5-6 times in 2 minutes. Anyway I was wondering if he could possibly have some bladder issue right now. He digs holes in the backyard and they have filled up with water and i’ve caught him drinking it. Or is it under stimulation when he’s alone because him peeing in his kennel only happens when I’m not there. Is it because he isn’t neutered?
