I'm trying to connect to my PC via cable. The PC app says connected, but when I click connect on the headset it just opens a loading screen with the meta logo and blinking dots and doesn't go any further. I've tried restarting both the PC and headset. Un-installed and reinstalled the quest link PC app. Tried different cables and ports. I can connect with virtual desktop with no issues. I can close the app in the headset by holding the right meta button. Then in the PC app it shows still connected but low battery even though the battery is nearly full.

2025.01.31 02:10 Embarrassed_Soft_330 PPI question and advice needed
Background: early 30s, got rid of hpylori which was a very tough and excruciating battle last year. Felt better for months then got a lot of nausea, pushed for an endoscopy and they found a little gastritis, inflammation in my throat and a small segment of BE, no dysplasia. I had a hill grade 2 which my GI said was my LES and it’s normal. This was a big surprise to me since I never felt reflux in the past, only silent reflux after getting hpylori. GI said to take omeprazole 20mg till I felt better then take it every other day or Pepcid as needed. They didn’t seem worried at all even though the BE sent me into a healthy anxiety scare I’m still battling today.
I went on omeprazole 20mg, felt better for months, went every other day and things got worse as life got more stressful.
Currently I switched from omeprazole to 15mg of lansoprazole about 2 weeks ago due to dissociation and anxiety from omeprazole which I’ve had issues with on omeprazole and even worse on pantoprazole (really wish I didn’t have as many side effects on them). Overall I feel was more like myself on lansoprazole, but I still feel depressed and anxious/ not like myself at times. I don’t have any stomach issues, just silent reflux and a sore throat with triggers. I’m wondering if I need to up the dose to 30mg or add Pepcid at night.
I’m also waiting on a SIBO test but really doubt I have it since I would have bloating most likely. I think I have messed with my vagus nerve and still need to health my throat. I’m eating very clean and GERD friendly diet, take a strong multivitamin, fish oil, magnesium at night, Gaviscon advance or reflux gourmet before I sleep, sleep on an incline.
Wondering if there’s any other tests to ask the GI for or what I can do to solve my LPR issue? I feel like PPIs really don’t agree with me and I still feel sad and not like myself. Appreciate this community and everyone’s help!

They've been out there for around half an hour demanding via megaphone that some home occupants come out unarmed. This used to be such a quiet and safe neighborhood, but that house in particular has been suspicious for some time (multiple occupants that change often, fights in the back yard, people burning clothing periodically, occupants constantly showing up with new/different vehicles, etc). As annoying as all of the yelling and lights are, we're honestly relieved that somebody is finally looking into whatever the hell is going on over there because it honestly seemed like Walter White was going to show up any day with a truck load of blue barrels...

I need some career advice. I’ve been laid off before but don’t remember struggling with anxiety as much as this time.
I have a lot of experience in technical support (25 years) with the last 8 years doing hybrid IT support along with systems / network administration.
The first sys admin role was at a manufacturing company. I’m not sure they understood the difference between IT support and systems / network support because they just handed everything as my responsibility. It was exciting but nerve wracking because I was so scared it would one day crash and I’d have to admit that I didn’t know exactly how all of the equipment worked. Luckily, it never happened and the plant shutdown.
The second sys admin role was more heavily weighted towards technical support and some server support. I really felt successful in this role and got promoted to a lead position.
While I’d like to go back to handling the system / network again because of the challenge and extra money but, I’m really afraid I’ll fail at it.
I’m not sure if I should go back to technical support, get another hybrid role, or try getting an MSP job, where I can get exposed to a lot of different technologies all at once. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
