2025.01.31 04:41 Fun_Gazelle_1916 Joe should have have packed up Jamar and hit free agency. The Bengals are a trash franchise.
This team has had five (maybe even six) franchise QBs. They’ve had All Pros at every position. They wasted the entire decade of the ‘90s ruining one high draft picks career after another and yet still managed 3 SB appearances. Nobody has had more luck and done less with it. If this was European football, they would have been relegated a long-ass time ago. submitted by Fun_Gazelle_1916 to NFLv2 [link] [comments] |

2025.01.31 04:41 brendanmonke VSee boxes, too good to be true?
So..my parents spoke with someone working on their cable wiring and he told them he uses a VSee box to get unlimited content for a fixed one-time price. Needless to say, as they are older, their eyes lit up. They called me immediately and I told them this A - sounds illegal, and B - is too good to be true.
I looked up its legality, and it seems to be a gray area. Seemingly, wouldn't this just be illegal streaming on a larger scale? Or does the one time fee somehow figure into a package that grants access to multiple streaming services? Also, the product itself seems suspicious in terms of privacy.
I made sure they held off on purchasing one until I looked into it further. Does anyone have any insight into the actual specifics of how these things work and how functional they really are?

2025.01.31 04:41 Automatic-Ad910 Low-End PC people may find this useful
So I'm rocking this:
Xeon E3-1231 v3 CPU... a 1070ti GPU... 16 gbs of ram.
I was on 1080p with low settings getting around 35 fps with stutters all over. But then I just said F it and let's turn everything off and start over.
I ended up keeping all the upscaling stuff off, no frame gen, no nvidia latency... and instead just turned my resolution up to 1440p, and turned my graphics settings up to high... just turning the anisotropic filtering to trilinear, and the shadows down to low.
I'm getting about 47-60 fps with no stutters now, and for my rig, that ain't bad. It still looks pretty nice too (if you're used to running a lower end machine, 1440p on high, 50fps is like a dream). Anyway, manually increase your resolution, don't use the upscaling.

2025.01.31 04:41 BullMooseRevolution Bull Moose Revolution: 1916 Democratic Presidential Primary (Round 2)
For more context, go here For round 1 and a summary of Roosevelt's third term, go here 1916 Democratic Presidential Primary Candidates The beginning of the 1916 Campaign is off to an interesting start. The Progressive candidates clearly dominate the field. However, the party seems torn between supporting interventionism or isolationism. After being unable to garner enough support headed into the Convention, Senator Carter Glass and Senator Oscar W. Underwood have dropped out. Seeing the field become crowded with candidates who can't make up their minds regarding US involvement in Europe, a new candidate has announced his candidacy: Attorney from New Jersey Lindley Garrison \"Strength for the Future\" A lawyer from New Jersey, Garrison certainly has the makings to become a dark horse candidate in this race, especially considering he's never been elected to public office. In 1912, he was supposedly tapped by Wilson as a potential Secretary of War pick. Now, four years later, he has made a name for himself as one of the most prominent Interventionist voices in the Democratic Party. He's disciplined, analytical, and firm, with a focus on responsible government expansion. Regarding politics, he's methodical and strategic. He appeals to moderates and national security advocates. He advocates for a strong national defense, moderate reforms, a balanced approach to government intervention, and strengthening executive authority in wartime efforts while maintaining civil liberties, landing him in the Pro-War camp of the party. Candidates that Advanced:
As Governor of Indiana, Marshall implemented moderate reforms, including education and public health improvements, and was chosen to be Wilson's running mate in 1912. After losing, many expected him to retire from politics altogether, but in 1914, he shocked political observers by winning a seat in the Senate. Marshall is known for being thoughtful and conciliatory, with a focus on balancing progressive and conservative interests. He's humorous, pragmatic, and diplomatic, with an appeal to Midwestern voters, moderates, and centrists. He advocates for moderate reforms, limited government intervention, and isolationism, landing him in the Anti-War camp of the party.
Some call it a longshot, but Baker would say he's exactly what the party needs right now. Baker is a progressive reformer who has championed education, public health, and labor protections. In 1912, he came to the forefront of party politics as one of Wilson's most ardent supporters and has carried the torch of Wilsonian Progressivism since. He's also the most inexperienced politician, only having been elected to the House in 1914. He's known for being innovative and collaborative, with a focus on local-level reforms. He's also the youngest candidate at the age of 44. He appeals to urban progressives, younger voters, and reformers. He advocates for public education, infrastructure development, labor rights, and limited intervention, supporting aid for the Entente but wanting to scale back direct military involvement, landing him in between the Pro-War and Anti-War camps of the party.
A veteran legislator and former Speaker of the House, Clark is known for championing rural interests and opposing centralized power. In 1912, Clark almost became the Democrat's nominee for President, and after Wilson's loss in the General election, he became bitter, blaming progressives for the party's losses. Since then, he's worked hard to unite the party in opposition to Roosevelt's more controversial agenda items as House Minority Leader. He's also attempted to replace progressivism with his brand of populism, with mixed success. He's known for being folksy, charismatic, and persuasive, with a talent for rallying grassroots support. He appeals to farmers, rural voters, and traditional populists. He advocates for agrarian reforms, tariff reductions, anti-trust legislation, and limited interventionism, supporting limited aid for the Entente but wanting to slowly pull out of Europe altogether, landing him in between the Pro-War and Anti-War camps of the party.
Burleson is a reform-minded leader who has worked on postal modernization and labor protections. In 1912, he was a vigorous supporter of Wilson and since then has worked to defend the Progressive wing from attacks within the party. He's detail-oriented, disciplined, charismatic, and forward-thinking, with a focus on administrative efficiency. He appeals to Southern progressives and reformers. However, he is known for being hostile towards civil rights groups. He advocates for public education, infrastructure improvements, anti-corruption measures, a strong national defense, and active international diplomacy, landing him in the Pro-War camp of the party. Conclusion The battle to define the Democratic Party continues. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, questions, or other comments. Remember to vote! 2025.01.31 04:41 SkadiSpirit My job
So, I work in a warehouse kind of a job.
I am a Fantastic worker, I've even been highly pushed to pursue a lead position within my workplace but I have clearly stated that I do not want it.
Here's the thing though.. We got a new supervisor from a totally different department awhile ago and they had to learn EVERYTHING from near scratch in our department. Well, (she) had been a super tyrant for most of her time here. She recently started to let off a bit.
I understand that supervisors have a duty to do by holding people accountable, and some things can get misconstrued or miscommunicated. But when your supervisor walks up to you and 1 other coworker standing there chatting for a moment when there is only 10 minutes left of the shift and there's clearly no work to do on the line and everyone else is doing the same exact thing...
Anyway that supervisor singles you out by saying "what are you doing?" And you respond "well I just finished doing this task, so right now absolutely nothing" and they were baffled that you weren't in the area you normally are, well the lead in the area had sent you over there to finish some tasks which apparently the supervisor did not know and just assumed you were over there to just chit chat.
Well I told her "I was sent over here by the only other lead in the area since you were busy, don't have an aneurism, I'm not over here for nothing I had to help finish a task"
And she goes "well I need you over to the other area and having you two just standing here while trainees walk by doesn't look good"
Well, again.. everyone else is also standing around so why not get after everyone else too?
So I made sure to jokingly walk past a couple of coworkers on my way back to my area and say "hey... do somethin! " well apparently she didn't like that either, so I assume I will get a talking to about my "attitude" (again) tomorrow.
I usually just keep to myself... stay at my spot and never talk to anyone because of this kind of stuff. But shame on people for trying to have workplace peer to peer relationships. Again, I understand where it could look wrong to be not doing anything at the moment the supervisor walks by... but like we were not the only ones and to be singled out makes me enraged. Especially when just before that they are practically begging me to be a lead.
In the past I've been talked to for asking too many questions, to the point the supervisor was starting to feel attacked. Questions such as "if you guys are enforcing these rules on US, then what makes it ok for the higher upset to do what we would get talked to or wrote up for?"
Long story short(but long), I know where I am wrong. But I also know where they are wrong. Also my attitude is the reason I do not want to nor should even be considered to move up in the company I work for. And is also why I usually just stay put and don't talk to anyone.

2025.01.31 04:41 Betha_search Soreness Underneath Tattoo Starting 3 Weeks Later – Anyone Else?
Hey fellow inked people, I need some advice!
I’ve had quite the tattoo journey. I got my first tattoo on my thigh and arse, and while I loved most of it, I wasn’t happy with a part of the tattoo on my arse. After a few attempts to fix it, my sister recommended a cheap artist far away, but the cover-up (a raven) was pretty awful. Then, a friend met a renowned cover-up artist at a party, and now I’m getting a badass dragon that I’m actually proud of!
Current situation: After my 4th full-day session, 3 weeks ago, I’m now starting to feel some soreness (not pain) underneath the tattoo, mostly on the arse, hips, and lowest ribs. The skin is fully healed, but I’m wondering if this soreness could be lymphatic or muscle-related, or maybe just something deeper in the skin. It doesn’t feel like an infection or an allergic reaction. It's just low-grade soreness when moving around, but it wasn't there during the healing phase.
Question: Is it normal to feel this kind of deep soreness 3 weeks after a session, especially after so many? Anyone who’s gone through a cover-up, what was your experience like?
FYI: Both black and white ink have been used in the last couple of sessions to cover up the very dark raven.
... And yeah, it’s been a long and expensive journey, but I’m just trying to focus on the positives and take care of my tattoo, body, and health now. Any advice or thoughts would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

2025.01.31 04:41 Fgon1 want to upgrade my low profile gpu but don't want to go overboard
so I have an Amd radeon R5 430 and a Nvidia quadro K620 both 2gb and low profile, they perform similarly on my build and want to upgrade to better gpu, but I just need a small upgrade like double performance from these ones.
I've seen people recommending 3050, 1650, 1050, rx 6500 but these ones are still expensive for me, I want something middle of the road from these ones to the ones I own (they need to be lp since I have a sff pc), any recommendations?
