I’m so mad this card I’ve had for over two years has been restricted at a 0 balance since November.
No information has changed. My phone number the same. My email the same. Address same. I offered to go in person to a capital one. I offered everything
Capital one requested documents I submitted exactly what was requested. They are forcing it to close so I said is it discrimination? Or is it because of the scandal of their lawsuit?
Please help because I don’t want the positive account to close and affect my credit score. I did nothing wrong.
Should I get my lawyers involved? It’s not like I need that credit line it’s more of the fact I don’t want it to tank my credit.

2025.01.31 01:51 Fast4wheeler Should I just move on and forget about my friend?

About four months ago, my (18M) best friend (F18) blocked me. A few things I should clarify:

  1. We live different states so I can’t see her in person.
  2. We have always been honest with each other and will call the others bullshit out if need be.
  3. We have only ever FaceTimed and on very rare occasions, do a normal call (this is important later)
So about four months, my friend calls late at night (around 11pm for me) and asks me a question. She asked me if I’ve ever had feelings for either now or in the past. Now keep in mind she CALLED, not FaceTimed, and I was tired asf and didn’t even realize I was talking to her. I just told her no and she hung up and that was that. A few minutes go by before I realized that was her calling. So I texted her back saying I didn’t realize that was her and laughed. She asked me again, and at the point I wasn’t really sure what to make of it. So I told her that I had some feelings for her maybe like 4 years but I’ve moved on because I’ve grown up and longer feel that way. So she asked me if she admit that she had feelings for me, would I do the same. I don’t remember what I said but she told that she had feelings for me recently (at the time, like a week ago). I 100% thought she was telling she had feeling me. I was worried if I told her outright “no” she wouldn’t want to stay friends. So, I told her that if something were to happen in the future with us, I wouldn’t complain. THEN SHE FUCKING HEARTS MY MESSAGE. So, at that point I really she confessed her feelings to me. A few hours go by, and she tells me “this isn’t going to work” and blocks me. A few days later I tried calling on a friends phone, and that didn’t really go any where. Skipping ahead to last week, she DMs me on discord (not send a friend request) to apologize. Short story is her boyfriend was insecure about her being friends with guys so he got violent with her that night. She blocked me and some other friends for her safety. She eventually broke up with him and thought about contacting me sooner, but was afraid I would hate her. At this point I already told myself I couldn’t forgive her no matter what. But guess what, I could forgive her because I want my friend to be safe. I responded to her message 2 minutes after she sent it btw.
So that brings us to today: she still hasn’t tried contacting me or responded to my messages. On discord, it finally said today that I can’t message her because we’re not in the same server or whatnot. So I assume she either reblocked me or can’t continue DMing after a week due to the other persons settings? Honestly, I really don’t know what to do because she means so much to me as a friend. It’s hurts so much that I can’t talk my best friend anymore.
So, should I just assume that she no longer wants to be friends and just move on with my life? Because it fucking hurts knowing that she contacts me to apologize then doesn’t give a shit to respond.

Hi, and thanks for reading my post. I'm a pretty chill and laid-back guy looking for genuine friendships. Too often, I think people restrict themselves about what types of friends they seek, but I can honestly be friends with anyone. The only thing I require of any potential friend is to put equal energy into it - it goes nowhere if I am the only one doing it all. A digital friendship is fine if you are outside the USA, but for those of you who live here, I don't want to spend the whole friendship behind a keyboard - I will eventually want to meet and hang out and go on trips together! In my opinion, face-to-face time is essential for a friendship to grow.
Anyway, here a few of my interests:
- traveling
- reading
- exploring
- music
- movies
- hiking
- history
You don't have to have the same interests as me; I love getting to know people who have different interests.
I look forward to getting to know you and seeing if a long-term friendship ensues.
