Hi everyone! I'm a biology professor at my local community college and I teach plant classes. I have an idea for a (hopefully) fun quarter long project that will hopefully encourage my students to look at plants anytime they go outside. The idea is to borrow some techniques from the mobile game Pokémon Go and basically get my students to take pictures of plants to submit for points. I have my students use iNaturalist and/or PlantNet to aid in their plant identifications, and for this assignment I'll have them submit those pictures to me for points towards this project. My hope is that this will inspire them to check out plants as they're going about their days, like going between classes, and hopefully help them be more engaged with the natural world around them.
My issue is this: what do I call the project? So far my ideas are Plantémon Go, Botany Go, Go Botany, Phytomon Go, or something to that flavor. Do you guys have any ideas for a name? Please drop them in the comments or let me know which of the names I've thought of sound cool to you! Thanks in advance!

If you read the Quran, you’ll notice that every prophet’s words are about God—either speaking about Him or about acts of worship toward him. There’s no mention of private lives, genealogy, or history in the Quran. The Quran is entirely and heavily focused on God, which is reasonable—If God created heavens and the earth and everything in them, and he created us from a tiny drop and gave us the ability of hear and see and think, then his greatness cannot be overstated. A truly divine book should prioritize on God above all else as God is the Most Great, and the Quran does this more than any other religious text.
calling people to worship God alone is never excessive—it’s rightfully due and deserved. And logical.
Here are examples of what the prophets said in the Quran,
1.Prophet Noah (Nuh):
“Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day.” (Surah Al-A’raf 7:59)
“That you not worship except Allah. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a painful Day.” (Surah Hud 11:26)
- Prophet Hud: >“Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Then will you not fear Him?” (Surah Al-A’raf 7:65)
“O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. You are not but inventors [of falsehood].” (Surah Hud 11:50)

“Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it, so ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive.” (Surah Hud 11:61)
- Prophet Shuaib:

I dunno, I've been daydreaming for so long that I decided to let it out.
Next, I'm going to start this story from when I started to how it affects me to this day, I'm even going to talk about problems that I haven't told anyone about since no one will know who I am, where I'm from, etc. Let's start from the beginning. I started daydreaming more or less at the end of 2021, it was a pandemic, I was a normal teenager who had never had daydreams, at least not in an exaggerated way or something that would hurt me, but at that time I watched a series called Euphoria, and after that series I met Sydney Sweeney, and I thought she was a beautiful woman, but however, I didn't just see her like any person you think is beautiful, and you know that you have nothing to see because not even in real life do you feel it, or something like that. I just started daydreaming, literally every day, and until today 11/26/2024, I daydream with her, and like I DON'T KNOW WHY MAN. I just daydream with her, and it affects my personal life because I literally just daydream with it all day long, and like it affects my friendship relationships, and even because I get so stuck in this "little life", that I just can't live mine. and like I don't know, how do I stop these daydreams. and I even thought it was a religious issue and stuff, you know even though I'm connected to God and stuff, I just can't stop these daydreams, and like my colleagues even say man, wake up to life, like you're traveling in the moon world. And they don't even know that I have daydreams, they think it's just because I'm silly and stuff. But man, I'm tired of all this, I'm tired of daydreaming, I want to really live my life, I want to stop imagining and I just can't. If someone please wants to try to help me, I'll be very grateful because it's a very complicated situation, and I don't want to live the rest of my life with this. I'm young, I still have a lot to achieve than just living my whole life in daydreams.

I am a pretty new player to NMS, having completed the story mode, getting myself a pretty cool s grade sentinal ship and a C grade Freighter (I didnt know what i was doing). However, I am kind of lost on what the goal is. I know there isnt a set end goal but what do people do to stay occupied? Do i just do the missions at the space stations? or the ones at the Anomoly? Hi folks!
I have some coworkers who are interested in trying out golf for the first time. I’m game planning taking them to the driving range to hit some balls at a range that actually just opened up some TopTracer bays that you can reserve. You can have up to 5 people and order food and all that - seems pretty casual and perfect for this group!
I noticed there is a “no outside instruction rule” as with nearly all driving ranges. I’ve always wondered what this entails? Say I give a few pointers to my coworkers because they are beginners (have never even touched a club beyond mini golf). Is that considered outside instruction? Friends showing friends how to hit a golf ball? Or does this mean hiring a private instructor, not affiliated with the range, and having them provide lessons to you at said range?

i dont know, its probably the fact that i cant seem to sleep or that the world is making me actuall go insane slowly at the ripe age of 14, but i heard voices last night.
not trying to be edgy but i cleary heard diffrent voices, i almost fell asleep, then i heard a loud voice of talking, woke me up immediantly, mde me dizzy and my ears rang, happend like 4 times, maybe five.
didnt sleep till 4am and woke up at 7am, its like my body dosent want me to sleep and i dont wanna sleep but its absolutly ruining me. ruining my grades which kinda ruins my mental wellbeing in a way as my grades mean more then they should.
anyways. to me seeing things. ive seen things often and its often just like, figures in the corner of my eye so i dont think about it much, sometimes i see things directly i just ignore that to, but idk anymore, theres a bush in the front of my house, a big bush, its between my house and my neighbors (no autocorrect-..) house near the road. we live in a neighborhood but its foresty backyards, not relevent just helps picture it.
my room is on the second floor, right of the house closest room to the bush besides living room, felt odd, it was like 2am,bi got up and looked out my window and i thought i saw a figure, but theres was flashes, i didnt end up sleeping because i convinced myself someone was taking pictures of me.
idk, guess this is a rant or smth im just slowly falling apart, thoght it was ok guess not.
