My CA SDI contribution for 2024 was deducted from paychecks by my employer (Payroll Dept. is out of state)
Box 1 Wages on my W-2 for last year is $100,606.42
Box 14 on my W-2 for last year is $5,672.55
My tax preparer calculated that the correct CA SDI deduction should be $1,106.
My employer told me that I had to wait for filing 2024 taxes, and that there was no other recourse for me to recover the excess $4,566 from my paycheck. But yesterday I found out that I must pursue this issue myself with my employer -- there are no refunds from FTB for these overpayments?
Question 1: How can I find out what my employer actually contributed to my 2024 CA SDI account?
Question 2: If my employer did contribute the over-payment amount of $5,672.55 what resources does FTB have to assist me in recovering my wages?
Question 3: If my employer contributed the correct 2024 CA SDI amount of $1,106 -- how can I report them for this apparent wage theft?

Hello All,
I have a 2009 Honda Accord Salvage Title Car which I purchased back in 2021. It has 128K miles right now but I believe the seller changed the miles number. When I bought it, it had 92K miles on it.
I have not done any major repairs apart from break pad change once and regular oil changes. Recently, I had a no crank-no ignition issue in my car and towed the car to the mechanic. Attached is the text screenshot of what he said.
What repairs should I do? Is it worth it or should I look to get another cheap car? What repairs can I do myself?

40F. I have some base knowledge so will try to include anything helpful. Cardio hx inappropriate sinus tach and PVCs. SVT once inpatient but has never recurred on holters. Had stage I left diastolic dysfunction (preserved EF) a few years ago but past 2 echos have been normal. Have been very tired for a few months and have felt off with intermittent lightheadedness, HA, and palpitations for a few days. Have had recent increased stress and anxiety and I’m pretty sure it’s just that. I work in regulatory public health and there’s kinda a lot going on, as you all know. I did a quick ecg on my Apple Watch and it’s only 1 view so I know not very informative but noticed varying QRS amplitudes. No couplets or signs of PVCs through the 30 sec. Can upload more of the strip if needed. Does this look concerning at all or just normal variance and I can remove from my current stressors? I’m immunosuppressed from OCS (asthma) and want to avoid the ED if at all possible.

I got an offer to Padova and just applied to Polimi, both for master’s in data science (international student). Can anyone speak to their experience in either?
Which offered better teaching, which offered a better school/life balance, which was easier to make friends at, which had a better night life for students/young adults?
I’m hoping to go to a place that I’ll be able to find/build a community in and has nice things to do around, and fun parties every once in a while. I know Milan is more expensive, so I’ll only be going if I get scholarship, but if I do get it I’m caught between which is better.
