My 14 year old neutered potcake is losing muscle mass in his back end. He is on steroids (10mg SID) for a neurological issue. He was also diagnosed with malignant melanoma 2 years ago, but hasn’t had a tumor regrowth since his last removal in May 2024. I’d like to do some physical therapy with him at home to try to at least stop, if not reverse some of the weakness. Any suggestions on home PT exercises I can do with him.

2025.01.31 01:49 PghNH Considering a psychologist; a few questions.
I've never been to a psychologist, and really don't feel that they would offer me any benefit because a) I think I'm aware of my issues; b) I don't know if I'd listen to what they say; c) I'd feel embarrassed talking about this stuff. However, I'm just not feeling any better after a bit of a shock to the system two weeks ago. I'm pondering talking to somebody even if just once. A few questions for anybody who would like to answer.
*Do any good text-based therapy options exist (not video chat or in person)?
*If you're going to a psychologist, I don't think medications are involved, but regardless, can you announce that you would never be open to medications as a ground rule, right off the bat?
*Can a regular psychologist talk to you about any issues, whether it's depression or OCD or whatever?

Tweek talks a lot about how he's so future focused with trying to play far in the future, while MKLeo is extremely present and do what works. Tweek then talked a lot about the long term strength of characters that have a lot of options to break tempo.
This goes beyond playstyle, but how they think the game should be played as well. I've seen MKLeo as present in the moment and often thinking of the psychological aspect. Tweek seems to value the cutting edge and really strong base gameplay and options throughout the match.
I've heard some Japanese smashers say that Zackray states that in optimal play you never have to make a read. He often seems to be playing a very turn based esque game at times through seeing the game through micro situations and then reacting based on those.
I was generalizing, but I was curious what you all thought and this would apply to Melee and other Smash games as well!

I'm visiting Baja for the first time next week and after a sudden last minute change of plan, I need a rental vehicle from Cabo San Lucas to Loreto. After searching all day including reading countless threads here, I can't find a rental car agency that doesn't consistently get negative reviews apart from Cactus and BBB - neither of which allow one-way rental to Loreto.
I understand Mexico has strict insurance requirements which is often used to promise unrealistically low rates to tourists before the price double or triples. I'm looking for somewhere honest and upfront that won't present unexpected surprises even if it means paying a little more upfront. Right now I'm primarily considering Alamo or Hertz but am looking for first hand experience and recommendations.
How can I be certain that the vehicle I book online includes the mandatory insurance?

How long does the best take to charge? I had it installed today and after many YouTube videos I realized that they never installed the C wire. It is finally now blinking red but it's been like that for the last hour and ten minutes. Shouldn't it be charged by now? It was charging in the wall for an hour prior to being plugged back into the thermostat bay.
Any ideas?

Hey all, hope your restoration journey is going well,
I just wanted to check in and say hi, and say that I've been using my CRT with aroind 12 ounces for about a month now, and my outer skin is getting dry. To me that's a good sign because that means growth is happening and the old skin is working itself out and new, lengthened skin is on the way. Don't worry... I moisturize regularly ;)
So, a positive thread from me, for all. Product is working as intended.
Not a lot of progress overall- nothing measurable, there never is, but definitely noticeable changes.

I’ve seen the tweet from one of the devs about them saying it might be a ddos attack but have they confirmed it? I just was looking today and was hoping to find some confirmation or better yet a timeline on a fix coming soon. It’s happening everyday multiple times a day. If it’s gonna keep happening I’d rather just play other games instead of spending a portion of the day letting my pc set in a long queue.
