Hi, and thanks for reading my post. I'm a pretty chill and laid-back guy looking for genuine friendships. Too often, I think people restrict themselves about what types of friends they seek, but I can honestly be friends with anyone. The only thing I require of any potential friend is to put equal energy into it - it goes nowhere if I am the only one doing it all. A digital friendship is fine if you are outside the USA, but for those of you who live here, I don't want to spend the whole friendship behind a keyboard - I will eventually want to meet and hang out and go on trips together! In my opinion, face-to-face time is essential for a friendship to grow.
Anyway, here a few of my interests:
- traveling
- reading
- exploring
- music
- movies
- hiking
- history
You don't have to have the same interests as me; I love getting to know people who have different interests.
I look forward to getting to know you and seeing if a long-term friendship ensues.

The manager basically reduces your workload on this end and invites you to the meetings and give you chance to speak and let you brag/showcase your project tho in fact never really does any follow-up or actually uses your output. They want you to be in the office, cuz you never go, and when you go, they act like a stranger. They withheld information and never give background about your task. You didn’t perform well knowingly, but they didn’t give feedbacks either and continue to invite you to gatherings and wanna increase your appearance, and say it’s good for you knowing ppl for the growth.
I mean what good it does to them?

(19M) / recently took tylenol
About a month ago I started playing the game Elden ring for about 3 days until I had to stop because I got bad headaches and left eye strain that would last for a few days.
From that point on I get the feeling of head pressure after using any electronic too much, mostly my game console, it's not that bad during the day but it's at it's worst if I play at night, I end up feeling better when I wake up or distracted by something else that doesn't involve electronics and screens.
Still not something I want to be going through, does anyone have advice or recommendations on what to do to?

Joost just dropped a song and I am the type to pay the most attention to the lyrics, appreciating the insight he provided us with from his perspective, I wanted to start a thread for fellow fans who care.
It is not that I ever had any doubts, but it feels good to be vindicated by Joost Klein himself. I remember I used to debate so many coping people on the internet who refused to give him the benefit of the doubt and treated the EBU's word as the gospel. They acted as if it was a reach to even speculate that a certain delegation had something to do with his disqualification. What else can one conclude from "The people with money want more and more and more, they said, yo Joost Klein, you're disqualified"?
In my opinion, he confirms that it was directly related to the "Why not?" incident during the press conference. It was never about whatever the fuck happened between him and the photographer. They were the actual perpetrators of emotional damage. He is saying that he does not care about sensationalist media coverage or financial bullshit, he will speak out when it's necessary, he prioritizes bringing people together above all.
The heartwarming part is that tI think he accepted this saddening set of events as something that was meant to be. The song starts with how his Eurovision dream was taken away from him but he concludes that this will ultimately help his greater goal of unity 💙

I want to build a MOB system for my boat, so I placed some player sensors in my boat for that. In sphere mode, upsidedown (they are on the floor, I dont want the "sensor" side to be visible), detect player only and 10m radius.
I'm standing right on top of it and it reads false... what's wrong? Inf power on btw.

So rewiring my house and I’ve loved my Knipex strippers, but I recently started using stranded instead of solid because it’s easier to pull.
I noticed that when using the proper gauge on the Knipex stranded side it really struggles with THHN, and when I use the solid side it slightly marks the wire which isn’t optimal.
I’ve been using the solid side but being careful not to clamp down all the way to avoid scarring the wire.
With solid it’s one of the best stripping experiences ever.
I’m mainly curious if anyone else has run into this?
